The most interesting thing was the monster interaction with the endemic life. That could extend to making the hunt more immersive, seeing monsters actually traversing the seamless map across the different locales due to herd location or the transition to high/master rank. It would be more interesting than just seeing an unusual icon on the quest board. Maybe there'll be a cozy farming simulator side game beyond just capturing monsters and displaying them for one quest.
I hope they have a "Flooded Forest" zone! Where it's like the Ancient forest but then a mansoon or tide comes and floods the lower areas making you have to use upper paths to get around and ocean or water based leviathans swim into the forest to feed! That would be so amazing!

It sounds like their seamless description is supposed to be like the maps in older games but no loading screens, except on a much larger scale to have several maps in one massive map.
i'm wondering if there will be a different type of "storm" in different biomes, like a flood in a water biome or an avalanche in a cold biome. Really hoping they take full advantage of extreme weather systems
I really hope we get different weather and each biome is gonna get an Apex monster unique to it that are also flagships like what we got with the fated four
So basically, it's like a Jurassic Park but instead of the monster being the danger you the player is the danger because you're a walking extinction button.
Area access will probably something like you can find interconnecting paths, but they won't be accessible until a certain point. They'll probably use narrow areas for traversal cutscenes to cleverly hide the loading screen between areas. Also wanted to add, my personal hype is for the smallest details. The maps on World and Rise has fun little secret areas to discover. Those are exactly what I'm most excited to be find In Wilds. And to fish*
The world in MH Wilds being alive sounds very promising, it reminds me of Rain World. It'd be amazing if I could also use the monsters I capture to something other than just farm you know just like Seikret, but instead of only using the Seikret to run around I could use any monster each one of them with its intricacies, it would be a dream come true. Wilds is shaping up to be my favorite Monster Hunter ever. Once I can mount, ride and farm any monster I capture it my dream Monster Hunter will have been created. Oh yea and underwater combat!

What if even monster corpses stay where they are for quite some time before despawning or even decompose before that and get eaten by predators/scavengers. The fact that we can actually stand on the corpses to carve makes me think they stay a physical part of the world. At least for a few hunts.
You would most certainly get your corpse to the village to let them carve out your quest rewards tho. Would be a waste to kill a really hard monster and letting it rot in the sand. At least that's what I always imagined is happening to the monster once the reward screen appears
Not to add a surgeon simulation into the game, but what if they add a more in depth carving mechanic system where you carry certain carving tools and containers to carve and harvest certain parts. Thunderstorms and floods in a forest region Blizzards in a snowy region Maybe even a volcanic eruption in a region like Elder's recess with ash fall that limits vision!
The ecosystem and the scoutfly-mechanic are the two things which kept me in MH:W for so long and I'm so damn hyped that it's gonna be even deeper than World
The changes to the environment sound pretty neat, but one of my favorite parts of Monster Hunter is that you can either hunt a monster once and never do it again, or hunt a monster 40 times to get that one rare item you need for the armor set. As a usually more casual player, I don’t want to see certain monsters only being available at certain times in certain conditions. I like the ability to hunt anything whenever you want.
Wouldn't it be awesome if when a monster runs towards another part of the map so it becomes a "variant". Maybe not any drastic changes where it would grow spikes all over and a overall changes to its design, but maybe it would go from a fire element monster to something like ice? Imagine one of the sand worms become a more of a cave crawler within cave systems, changing the way you fight it by quiet a bit.
The dynamic world sounds fascinating. Im a big immersion fan, and honestly i can just go on expeditions and investigations all day in mhw. An even more and alive world with bigger herds and more interactions between the ai?! Im hyped. Would love to see something like that in a big RPG. Like, bandit camps relocating and actively attacking trade caravans and travelers, automatically generated bounties and quests based off of changes in the environment and movement of people/monsters. Hoping mh wilds inspires future games if their systems work out
Hopefully the combat is smooth and it flow like a river like in rise sunbreak unlike in world you have to aim your clutch claw while in mid battle honestly it can be annoying it feels like there is a lag mid combat while aiming to monster part of course seconds are very important while taking down a monster right just a few second window is all we need to deal massive damage especially in high rank most of the monsters are fast and strong
It really is sounding to me like Capcom is finally going to be able to make a hunting simulator game. It's something they tried to do in Monster Hunter Dos, but the technology just wasn't there yet. This is going to be so amazing if they pull it off, and I have faith that they will.
I do wonder how exactly the locales are interconnected. If we have to pass through the Windward Plains to get from the hub to every other area every time, it's going to get boring fast.
This is the first time as a MonHun fan that I'm waiting for a mainline game to drop. (Yeah, Rise was my first mainline MH). But one of the things I've come to love about Monster Hunter, in fact the reason I got into the games in the first place, is how the monsters are designed and how they behave. They really seem like they could be real animals, at least in a fantasy universe. My first time seeing a Rathalos drink was a magical experience for me, and I can't wait to observe more natural behavior. I can't wait to mess around with the world, using my knowledge of real life animals and ecosystems, and see if any of it applies. Some of it probably will.
I'm most interested in the focus mode. I don't just want it to be an alternative playstyle, I'd like there to be incentive to go in and out of it throughout a hunt. Like fighting normally creates wounds and toggling focus mode to hit the wounds for big damage. But staying in focus mode all the time hinders you in some way that lowers your dps
I think it's more for just seeing the wounds, as in it's basically an aside to it, meaning that if you're good enough, you don't need focus mode, you can just hit the wound. I'm assuming the wound will still be somewhat visible, like how broken parts are visible, if that makes sense, lol.
See you're misinformed, bc wounds will come naturally through fighting the monster, and causing to it damage, and overtime those wounds will appear, focus mode is not linked to creating wounds.. That is just a combat stance, which gives the player the possibility to aim our attacks more precisely toward the monster, second attacking with focus mode, when a wound is open, and after a certain amount of damage done or when that part is broken, through focus mode is possible to perform special attack animations.
Amazing news! I'm really hoping that we get different armors for the alpha members of the pack vs the non-alphas. Similar to how Ludroth has a different armor to Royal Ludroth. I like the idea of crafting armor from the lesser Doshagumas so it's like you yourself are a young doshaguma increasing in strength and experience as you hunt to finally take on the alpha and become the alpha yourself. Imagine if the lesser doshaguma came with skills like challenger, evade distance, and stamina drain, but the apex had maximum might (Base World version), Atk up, constitution, and Marathon runner. It'd be amazing synergy to mix parts with both the lesser and apex pieces vs it just being get the apex because it's better. Lesser pieces may have lower defense but higher skill levels, etc.
My only concern is how convenient farming monster parts if its so heavily reliant on more organic hunting, have they said investigations or more direct hunts are available?
I've been wondering that as well, as all the talk about what people saw at the private demo make it sound like the devs are taking this game well beyond the next level. What on earth would/could they attempt next? They do love trying new things, so I'm sure they'll find something to try.
The new weather system has me hyped, I can't wait to be fighting a monster and then a Strom hits and I have rethink my hunt. Also I hope to gog we van tame monsters for a farm and I hope we can catch the smaller life like we could in world
This game is looking pretty amazing. However, I am very worried about performance and how high the minimum and preferred specs will be with all of the advanced systems in place

Kind of a dumb question. Can the environment cause debuffs? Such as if the hunter gets hit by the random lighting. Would the hunter be debuff? Or just take dmg.
@nicholasmarquez3399 I don't know, I could see timers still being a thing. maybe they just overlooked in the demo, or it wasn't added yet. we don't have a definitive answer on that from the devs, do we? It would just feel weird if there is no timer
5:26 so... extinction... if i need a rathian plate. and they just not dropping... like in 3Tri, i went through 700 Rathians and only got 1 plate... like??? wtf????
It's actually pronounced as (Say-Crit) instead of (See-Crit). I wasn't sure at first either until I listned to the japanese interview and they say it (Say-Crit) or sacred with a T.
So what? If i were to slay pretty mush all monsters in the entire map while free roam, and then later head out again is there gonna be less monsters out in the wilds cus of that or what? ;S Cus it sounded like that in the beginning of the video...?? Or did i just misunderstand what you meant?
so it's like mh world map but WAYY bigger and you unlock parts of as you play the story I ain't complaining, it's monhun so I'm going to love it nonetheless
I am excited for it. I just love the ecosystem of MHW. I personally like watching the animals hunt, steal eggs of others and then make them into my new armor.
The setting up camps mechanic seems very similar to Wild Hearts where you could create camps almost anywhere as long as you had enough resources. Such a great game, im so sad they stopped supporting it 😭😡 As a Nioh and MH fan, Wild Hearts was perfect!
I admittedly was kind of hoping for like.. Hunting Styles rather than this.. Focus Mode? If not that, then I was kind of hoping maybe something like what Rise did, only not as janky and fast, the ability to alter your movesets or have an active skill. However, that is sort of where my concerns end, I personally like what World did, making it more immersive and less just go smash monster that is it. Opening things up more as well will be gigantic in terms of just.. getting into the game in general. This on top of people might be more inclined to run two main weapons rather than just play one. I myself will be playing my HH since I think it'll be like World again and SnS. Gonna be sick. Question is whether I get it on PS5 or PC! Either way, cross-play.
This, and the Elden Ring DLC got me feeling like a kid waiting for Halo 3 to drop. Cant wait!

@@thephoenixfromtheashesyeah I’m positive he sure since it was mention in the 72 things video they did

@nicholasmarquez3399 I don't know, I could see timers still being a thing.
maybe they just overlooked in the demo, or it wasn't added yet.
we don't have a definitive answer on that from the devs, do we?
It would just feel weird if there is no timer
im already thinking this is going to be game of the year for sure. 2025. so hyped its crazy. monster hunter making crazy additions and changes.
5:26 so... extinction... if i need a rathian plate. and they just not dropping... like in 3Tri, i went through 700 Rathians and only got 1 plate... like??? wtf????
They won't just stop spawning, they will come back.
I'm pretty sure they will give you a way to trade or buy rare items with points or tickets from certain npcs like wyverians or elder melders
So it's seamless as in it's similar to The Guiding Lands but bigger.
I can finally joust using my Lance. ☺️
It's actually pronounced as (Say-Crit) instead of (See-Crit). I wasn't sure at first either until I listned to the japanese interview and they say it (Say-Crit) or sacred with a T.
Yeah I was confused why he kept saying it like that, I thought he actually meant a secret mount
If monster hunter wilds wants to really really succeed they should make is so you can climb rocks maybe with the grapple
I really hope they get enough time to cook this game as much as i loved rise on release it definitely needed a bit more time to cook
Dis guy KNOWS what hes doing wit dat thumbnail.
GYAAAAATTT!
These monster hunter women built different
So what? If i were to slay pretty mush all monsters in the entire map while free roam, and then later head out again is there gonna be less monsters out in the wilds cus of that or what? ;S Cus it sounded like that in the beginning of the video...?? Or did i just misunderstand what you meant?
I wonder how it will goes with switching from low rank to high rank or to Master rank 🤔
Can't wait for this Masterpiece!!!
so it's like mh world map but WAYY bigger and you unlock parts of as you play the story
I ain't complaining, it's monhun so I'm going to love it nonetheless
I am excited for it. I just love the ecosystem of MHW. I personally like watching the animals hunt, steal eggs of others and then make them into my new armor.
Haha... Ungabunga hit big monster... I now know my battle cry whenever I play with the hammer.
So what happened to arrekz, never hear his name in this channel
What happened to Arekkz?
Imagine mh goes full survival monster horror game
The setting up camps mechanic seems very similar to Wild Hearts where you could create camps almost anywhere as long as you had enough resources. Such a great game, im so sad they stopped supporting it 😭😡
As a Nioh and MH fan, Wild Hearts was perfect!
Please bring back a farm!! It makes getting resources sooo much easier than hunting down specific bugs, ore, etc.
Please. Give gunlance blast dash so that it may be funlance once more
I feel like ER raised the bar in the industry. Mhw was superb, This looks incredible.
I just want monster hunter and monster hunter world is great but this feels better
This might actually become the best monster hunter game ever. Definitely a big upgrade from world.
Tysm!
The map is Seemless like san Andreas?
3:41 is it just me? i hate coral with a passion, the whole color palette and waaaay too vertical :D
Will there be a Hunter Stamina??
I mean why there wouldnt be? Also infinite stamina dualblades was brought back in rise. They wont bring them back.
Dont know from what some people are saying seems wilds is a late 2025, release and that annoys me. Rather they say the date already
I just wish that the steam deck could rin this well enough
