I'd love to see this car in club races and see how it goes on track against other cars. Rolex Monterey events on Laguna Seca. Or even better, GT1 Sports Club powered by Curbstone. Those events are reserved for track only hypercars. So the AMR Pro would be perfect.

Engine from the past (V12), tech from the present (Hybrid) and aerodynamics from the future (venturi tunnel). Ok, the venturi tunnel has also existed in the past, but came back in 2022. Watch Nico Rossberg's comment about the AMG One in his video when he was driving for the first time his own Rimac (recent video). F1 engine, nice to have. But aerodynamics aren't that good according to him and on top of that, way too heavy (+1700Kg). If I had the $$$, I would go with Aston without hesitation 😎
The biggest difference between the two cars is in the weight and aero. The AMG weighs 600-700 Kg more and has much less downforce. Performance and emotionwise they don‘t compete
I heard Matt Farrah talk about his ride along on his podcast, he said the mclaren senna held the previous production car lap record of 1 minute 27 seconds and the valkyrie did 1 minute 18 seconds on the medium power setting while just going on a chill joyride around the track, not even trying to set a lap record. If it went for a lap record on the highest power setting and new tires and no passenger it would be more like 1 minute 8 seconds or something. Absolutely insane

The Valkyrie and the Gordon Murray designed GMA T.50 and T.50s Niki Lauda, in my opinion are the three best cars ever made. And they all have engines manufactured by legendary Cosworth. Oh to be a multi millionaire. Still, I do love my 2007 Toyota Yaris.

the road version is actually noisier than the still loud amr pro version i think i suspect thats because of complicated electronics battery and ev motor combined with first road legal gear smoothness and amr pro is pure na engine without ev tech
I timed the lap between 2:23 and 3:46, that means that the Valkyrie can lap Laguna Seca in about 1 minute and 24 seconds, that is faster than an Indycar.
The dude wasn't even pushing. Aston Martin claim it can lap laguna seca in 1:10. Even if they are exaggerating, it could probably atleast do around 1:12

Pato ran Mika's Hakkinen's 1998 MP4-13A in November and turned a 1:12. The full lap was between 2:29 and 3:49, so it's a 1 min 20 sec lap, with a passenger and far from optimal driving. For referense, an old 1998 Mclaren F1 car (actually Formula 1, not the road car) did a 1:10 with a fairly taking it easy lap, not at the limit.

You didn't see the 160-315 kmph pull video? That was mad. It was running 200 HP short and still pulling hard. Seems to have no drag at all for a car making 2500 kilos of peak downforce and 3G turns.
Haha thankfully I was given a neck brace for the ride. Believe it or not, the hardest part was keeping my long legs from moving side to side and smacking the driver 😅

Is this steering wheel different from other Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro ? I watched a few videos about the amr pro and its steering wheel is similar to the base version.

F1 in the '80s had turbo v6's too. . . these two cars both carry f1 legacies and inspiration, and are both amazing achievements

That’s 9s slower than the indycar which +15s slower the f1 car. So about the same pace as a gte, not LMP betting time like they advertise
