Synopsis: "Shoya Ishida starts bullying the new girl in class, Shoko Nishimiya, because she is deaf. But as the teasing continues, the rest of the class starts to turn on Shoya for his lack of compassion. When they leave elementary school, Shoko and Shoya do not speak to each other again... Until an older, wiser Shoya, tormented by his past behaviour, decides he must see Shoko once more. He wants to atone for his sins, but is it already too late...?"

Sorry but I can't agree with any of the comments of this dub being awful. I've seen my share of bad dubs, and this is nowhere near bad. This is a very good effort. NYAV Post tends to do great jobs, and this sounds no different. I'm looking forward to hearing this.

This scene hit so hard because I had an almost identical one. They captured so many aspects of depression and the pain it causes yourself and others so accurately.
This movie was unbelievably tender and beautiful.. Everyone has problems of their own, why do we want to add to that? I am glad Ashida came around and tried to redeem himself with Shoko and also that he learned how to forgive himself later on..
I dont know why this scene brought me closer to tears than any other. I loved this scene so much.

Hes so low someone asking him why he wants too die, he does not even act surprised, he just instantly rolls into why he wants to be dead an that brakes my heart an understand how it becomes so normal to just want to not be alive anymore as its all he's been thinking about.
This scene made me cry, his mother must have been feeling so helpless after finding out her youngest child wanted to take his own life
This scene is so powerful and one of my favorites considering I've struggled with suicidal thoughts and planned on doing it.

Home boy was all doom and gloom but then snapped back into reality once his life savings was on the line. Stay on the grind brothers. The bread comes first before forgiving yourself, moving on from the past, trusting others, and loving yourself again. 💰 💰 💰

I watched the whole movie in French and bits in English dub.
I can honestly say I'm glad those voice studios outdid themselves, giving the movie the treatment it deserves.

Hi Andrew, we only distribute in UK & Ireland so can't comment on if/when a U.S. home video release will be in the works. However Eleven Arts in the U.S. will be bringing the film to cinemas soon so might be worth enquiring with them :) ^JG
However, it's only being screened subbed.
Just buy the bluray from the uk amazon website.
The real question if, why would you wanna see the dub though. With the shitty new disney xd Spider-Man doing Shoya's voice.

loved this- such pain! but tell me, is there a trend for anime on blu-ray to have sub par bit-rate? i'm picking up on it and i have ghibli titles and others like nadia, are flawless but others have strong and downright pathetic banding and color patching and with this title it shows- especially at the firworks display. at 30gig this seems really off.
