I call the magic of Conan surrealistic I have spent many years in India and also hanging out with magicians from Thelma and the golden dawn and I can tell you I don’t know how Howard came to know what he did but it’s on point with what I’ve experienced
Howard learned it from his father.
The more videos I watch the more I'm impressed with the old Age of Conan game. I didn't realize just how much they drew from Howard
As an Indian I love the flavour of the story.
Just read this story yesterday. By Set, what a ride! This is tied with Scarlet Citadel as my favorite conan story i've read so far. Howard nailed the coolness of sorcery. Got to see it used alot more, without it being demystified, which is perfect.
This channel is amazing for any Conan fan. I'm re-reading the Conan stories and than listening to your videos. Great stuff.

I knew Aleister Crowley was into the occult, but I had no idea that he was apart of the same order as Bram Stoker and Arthur Conan Doyle! Wow!
Also had no idea the Hellfire Club from the X-Men was a reference to an actual secret society.
Great work as always!
I LOVE THIS SITE!!!! AND I'M A BIG CONAN FAN THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS!!!!!!
💪👍💪
That was great.
Great great work. Thank you.
just found the channel. great content.
The People of the black circle is one good story from Howard.
Love the content
Why was the lesser sorceror's girdle able to protect Conan from the 4 seers, but not the lesser sorceror himself?
When Conan and his allies attacked the citadel, why didn't the seers stomp the earth to bury them in a rockslide, like they did to break the cliff under their pupil's feet?
Why didn't they carry them off in their whirlwind like they did Yasmina, then drop them from a great height?
The story previously stated their powers could blast the mountainside to atoms. Why didn't they do that instead of wasting time with mere incendiary spheres?
I guess Howard wanted to give Conan and the crew a fighting chance 😅
Sometimes it's called willpower. Conan had a reason to survive while Khemsa lost his reason to live when Gitara dead.

How would willpower nullify all those spells I listed?
@@kedabro1957 Magic is based around willpower. The seers have a hubris that their intelligence and will power can conquer anything leading them into ignorance. Conan like other barbarians trust their blade over magic everthrough magic saved Conan multiple times.
@@kedabro1957 conan wilpower is so powerfull it can explain why he is so strong
one time he break free from godness charm
