Liked this video even before I watched it! And it did not disappoint. Enjoyed your unboxing room-the way you decorated it. And of course the gorgeous “pith hats” on display. I only have the synthetic ones bought online. Wear them around town especially when sunny and hot. Get nice compliments! Appreciate your channel. Learned a ton about these hats. Sometimes people ask me about my hat and thanks to what I learned from you I can sound pretty knowledgeable. The most memorable compliment I received was from an attractive young woman. She simply said, “I like your hat.” I said, trying to be my usual modest self, “Thank you. It provides good protection from the sun.” She then said that she didn’t care about the sun protection and that she just likes a good hat! Fun little conversation, but it worried me a little because the guy she was with seemed bothered by all the attention his girl was giving me😮!

I found what I thought was an RAAF sola topia pith helmet from a garage sale. Turns out it was for the Ballarat Bowels clubs. Still a good helmet.
I love the videos, please continue to make them.

I recently purchased a Royal Enfield WD/C 350cc Side valve Motorcycle, made in Reddich 1940. I also have put together an Australian dispatch rider uniform. I was planning on showing off at out our next event on Australia Day.

Nice! I have a similar looking "Bombay Bowler" made in India and sold through Banana Republic in the 80's. Churchill was fond of this style.
