Dr. Dray, I have been cautious about wearing Vaseline on my face because I’m concerned it will make my sunscreen break down. Any thoughts on this? On another note- I love your nail polish. Your nails and hands look great!
I'm not used to super cold weather. I'm from Southern AZ, but this winter I'm staying in Northern NM. My nose has been so raw and dry, I've been using aquaphor healing ointment which has helped. Vaseline lip therapy has been a life saver when I'm out and about.
Cetaphil healing cream really really really helped with my chapped skin. It also healed my paper cut in two days. I apply eucerin or nivea shampoo and then seal it with the cetaphil healing ointment so it worked for me. It is my new favorite product.
I’m a mail carrier and my face is absolute red and on fire. And lotion burns so much. Vaseline is great, but no one wants to wear that on their face all day; you’d be all shiny. A balaclava is good too, but you get way too hot. I’ve been doing a cocoa butter stick at night, but I also fight with acne. It’s a battle for sure!
I love Eucerin’s UREA face cream with Ceramides for my nasty Montreal winter … has me looking like a glazed donut but is not comedogenic and keeps me dewy until morning. How do you find it ?
Regarding gold: cosmetic formulators have talked about the efficacy of small amts of gold in stabilizing vitamin c, which is why it's being used in products. Do you have any thoughts on this?
Addicted to your videos and so glad I found you on YT. I have base metal allergies and my hands are rarely without some level of rash because daily life brings one into contact with many alloys. I would bet the problem with eye creams and "gold" is the nickel alloy added. Is there any evidence gold is good for the skin? I know nickel isn't!
I love it when I’m awake long enough or up studying to say hey😂. It’s 4am in Sydney, aus here atm🧡. I love all the products you mentioned. Btw do you still use that irestore laser device or is it now with the long lost green screen in the cupboard?
Hi Jasper J, I woke up early and was too curious to go back to sleep before watching Dr Dray! I don't know whether Dr Dray is still using her iRestore laser hair device? Being genetically blessed, not colouring her hair, silk pillowcaaes etc. all helps to maintain her lovely long & thick hair. Btw, I purchased the illumia LED light therapy face mask online from Aldi Australia (Au$249 including shipping within Australia). I couldn't justify buying the really pricey ones . I'm pleased with it. I keep it next to my bed so that I remember to use it, rather in a cupboard/drawer. I hope your studies are going well. 👱♀️❤
Thank you! I’ve noticed more millia using the CeraVe healing balm. I’m going to try the Avene balm and see if it reduces the instances of millia under the eyes.
Dr. Dray, do you recommend sheet masks (such as Avene’s) for dry winter skin? I’m on a tight budget but my face is so dry and irritated that it’s redder than ever and feels rough to the touch.
I'm super excited to try the new Cetaphil ointment but there's no link? I love Theraplex (great for under masks) but Cetaphil products have always served me well.

I've also been using La-Roche Posay Lipikar AP Balm AP+ since around May 2021 and I've not felt the need to switch. I love it!
Happy Monday!
do you use the la roche posay lipikar ap balm on your face too? im afraid it’ll break me out or cause closed comedones because it has a high amount of shea butter
@@jaydsh yes, I use it on my face at night only. It hasn't caused problems for me (at least I don't think it has).
@@jaydsh I have super acne prone skin and I mix the la roch posay lipikar AP balm with cerave healing ointmentand apply it as my last step at night. My acne has gotten better since doing this :)
Dr. Dray, I have been cautious about wearing Vaseline on my face because I’m concerned it will make my sunscreen break down. Any thoughts on this? On another note- I love your nail polish. Your nails and hands look great!
Dr Dray. What does Cica mean? What do you think about old-fashioned Nivea crime?
Cica is a type of plant.
Going to Chicago for Christmas, so I’ll definitely be needing something more exclusive. 🥶 Thanks for the recommendations ! 😌
Happy Monday Dr Dray!
Same to you!
You don’t know how important your videos are!!! 💗💗💗💗💗
Hi Dr. Dray! Would you recommend using LRP Cicaplast by itself or over moisturizer for a damaged barrier? Have a great day! ❤
I use it under moisturiser and find that my skin is soft and supple in the morning
I love Eucerin’s UREA face cream with Ceramides for my nasty Montreal winter … has me looking like a glazed donut but is not comedogenic and keeps me dewy until morning. How do you find it ?
happy Monday everyone xo
Happy Monday Tony J enjoy your day
Happy Monday!
👱♀️❤
In uk and love LRP cicaplast baume B5 and good old Vaseline!
Which one would you use on a very dry under eyes? Thank you so much :)
Happy Monday!
Happy Monday
Regarding gold: cosmetic formulators have talked about the efficacy of small amts of gold in stabilizing vitamin c, which is why it's being used in products. Do you have any thoughts on this?
Addicted to your videos and so glad I found you on YT. I have base metal allergies and my hands are rarely without some level of rash because daily life brings one into contact with many alloys. I would bet the problem with eye creams and "gold" is the nickel alloy added. Is there any evidence gold is good for the skin? I know nickel isn't!
Hey Dr Dray how are you today?😊
Doing well 👍🏼
Been missing my daily dose as life has gotten busy! Thank you as always ❤️
Dr dray’s skin is flawless!!
Me watching the LRP Cicaplast like a proud mom 🤣
👱♀️❤
Thank you! Going to Canada, so I'll definitely be packing some of these products in my suitcase.
Good morning Dr Dray!!!
Happy Monday
But what can I wear in the morning that won’t be greasy for makeup? All of these Option are on the more greasy/thicker side
I love when you make these videos i find so many new products to use.
I really like ur recommendations. Pls make a video on rosacea triggered by pollution and winter.
She has a lot of rosacea videos. Also Dr. Sam Ellis is a Derm on YT with a lot of rosacea videos because she has it herself.
Is it better to wear over or under the sunscreen? Most for irritated hands. Thanks for the information!😉
Thank you! I’ve noticed more millia using the CeraVe healing balm. I’m going to try the Avene balm and see if it reduces the instances of millia under the eyes.
I'd love to slather on some vaseline but I don't want to mess with the efficacy of my sunscreen.
Dr. Dray, do you recommend sheet masks (such as Avene’s) for dry winter skin? I’m on a tight budget but my face is so dry and irritated that it’s redder than ever and feels rough to the touch.
I've had chapped lips for my entire life. I thought that I couldn't do anything about it... is Vaseline really the answer?
Loving the white nails!!!🤍
Nutrafol! i know you have discussed this product in the past but i’d be here for a video dedicated to this product
Can you do a video on skin care for CPAP wearers?
Cpap masks 😷 go over the nose and are often made of silicone. The air dries out my eyes as well.
Can you do a video of what helps with itchy bumpy scalp and why this happens?
@drdray I’ve never used what’s app is there another way?
You didn't include aveeno eczema balm why?? Is it not geed enough like these??
I'm super excited to try the new Cetaphil ointment but there's no link? I love Theraplex (great for under masks) but Cetaphil products have always served me well.
i love the avene tolerance
Avene brand is amazing!
Thank you Dr Dray all of this information is very helpful
