X2 and X3 would of been nice in maverick hunter x's style. Though because of not well sales since maverick hunter x was originally on the psp and that did porely those never happened.
I don't care if X7 is a bad game. X6 deserves the hate far more. We should really redirect the hate to that one. Always happy to see more hatred for it.
To be fair, you do have to unlock X in X7, and it does have Flame Hyenard, although the latter issue can be fixed by switching the voice audio to Japanese (in the X Legacy Collection). As for the 3D sections, I honestly can't be too mean to those. It tried to do something differently, and while I see why people hate it, I personally could care less, especially when the rushed development is taken into account, an issue X8 also suffers from that many people decide to stupidly ignore.
Alia from X5 wasn’t annoying at all. It was her job to navigate you through the stages and warn you about the hazards. Of course including the Constellations that drop spikes and unleash bat Mavericks when they disappear whenever the Black Hole in the background appears in Dark Dizzy/Necrobat’s stage. That was the scariest stage I ever played that night, that I thought I was gonna have a bad dream about it. Alia wasn’t lying nor kidding when she detected a Maverick reading at the constellations... (shudders)
5:10 Say what you will about the Gaea Armor, but I've never had a problem with it. The fact that X's Gaea Buster shots deal double damage makes me forgive it for having limited range. And the fact that X can't use special weapons with said armor doesn't bother me either, as I felt the X series relied _less_ on their special weapons from here on out. Also, the fact that X is immune to spikes and allows him to climb ladders faster makes me love it all the more.
And one last thing. I would love a X9 and a few other entries that could possibly tie into the elf wars that would eventually lead to the zero series. Will it happen? Who knows but it would be interesting.
This was a really great and fun to watch review of the x games. Like you I never played the x games(eventually will) and my gateway series were zero and zx (despite playing bn1 first then zero 1) I would be curious to see your thoughts on the battle network games despite knowing what you think of 2&3 and also *sighs* .....star force (honestly this series gets too much crap by fans especially when the first has arguably the best writing in the franchise and the 3rd one was a masterpiec I think)
Well time to share my thoughts on the rest of the series. X5: It has its moments and it shows that this was originally the final game of the series. Bosses and soundtrack were pretty good and I really love the story events and how epic they were with a great final battle and quite possibly my favorite sigma fight and final level in the series. Though I'll agree that certain levels are meh, alia is a pain, some of the upgrades are meh as well. Still I do like it despite its flaws. Unlike...... X6: OH GOOD LORD I HATE THIS ONE! It's cheap, unfair with its level design, the plot is terrible, the nightmare system is bulls#*t, and I really hate or didn't really care about the bosses. And High Max and Gate and by far the most frustrating bosses in the X series. I hate them! I really hate them! Least the soundtrack is great though. Huh no X7 in the vid. Well my thoughts are just the same as in QG's video. X command mission: Very underrated. I do like how different it is from the other for being an RPG. I really love the combat system, characters, voices for the characters, very awesome soundtrack, and for the most part fun bosses. A pretty fun spinoff X8: So much better than X6 and X7. Playing as all three maverick hunters is fun this time unlike x7 and I do love the upgrade systems, armor parts, and unlockable weapons and power ups you get during ng+ after you complete the game. Although I'm mixed when it comes to the maverick roster and level department. Some I liked and some I don't. Still enjoy the game regardless unlike some of the previous entries.
I'd rather not play Command Mission. Especially since they could've had a good villain with either Epsilon or Spider, and they chose Redips instead. Edit: Also, that's assuming you could ignore the fact it's in an alternate timeline where MegaMan Zero doesn't happen, not so easy to do when the game literally shoves it in your face.
I'll be honest, I actually haven't finished the game when I made this video. When I went to finish it, I quit after that stupid final gauntlet and honestly, it was worth it. What a total nosedive of quality. I have thoughts about covering Command Mission again someday, and give it the harsh critique it deserves.

Of course you have some issues but i I’ll explain why. The mavericks: okay you might have some bad one, but in general you have a good variety of attacks that have a cool patterns to learn. And desperate attacks. The fight with sigma is one of the best of the series and lumine is a great final boss. Level design: this one DEFINITELY could be better, but still making a okay job. Half of the levels are good and half are bad. The two ride levels, the fire levels and the training room are bad. The other ones are pretty damn good to play. Gridding: yeah, that kind stuff is pretty annoying at times, but solves the problem that you have that you need to balance a lot your upgrades to the characters or only focus on one. Every single character can reach his full potential at the campaign. And to go even further, the grinding will not exist at new game +. And that will be, probably the fastest game of the series and one of the most fun. That my friend is where x8 shine. Zero is freaking godlike with his new weapons, x is already with his armos and x is pretty damn fast. Man thats great.

Mega Man X8 Had the best voice acting in any Mega Man Game ever Vile, X, Axl, Alia, Layer, Dark Mantis, Gravity Ant, Zero, and even Burn Rooster
I'd say Maverick Hunter X's voices are pretty good too. I'd even say it's better since it has next to no bad voices.

It would be fine if she jumps in when you just started entering a portion of a stage, not when you're in the middle of it.
