- www.jordanouts... We went out to Buck Island to experience Turtle Beach and to snorkel the Buck Island Reef National Monument. This is a protected coral reef that has a snorkeling trail going through it. We booked our excursion with Big Beard’s Adventure tours out of Christiansted, St. Croix. We booked the half day tour (3.5 hours), which takes you out to to Buck Island on a catamaran called the Adventure. The Adventure is a 42’ power catamaran. We arrived at Turtle Beach, which has the softest sand and crystal clear turquoise blue water. We explored the beach and then did some snorkeling. We brought our own gear, but they provide it if you didn't bring your own. Then we got back onto the Adventure catamaran and headed over to the other side of the island to snorkel Buck Island Reef National Monument. The water was so clear and we saw all sorts of fish. This excursion was worth it and we will do it again when we go back to St. Croix
This was absolutely beautiful! I’m going there in a few months and can’t wait!
Thanks so much! You're going to love it. Such a beautiful place to explore 😃

I'm so excited for you! You're going to love it 😃
Whoa... such a great memory! I was there 31 years ago. I was 15, and it was awesome! Thank you for the memory.
Hey Von, that's so awesome! So cool to hear that one amazing place can create memories for years and years. 😀
Fantastic video. We just did this exact tour 3 weeks ago.
Thanks Mike! Such an amazing place. 😀
What a beautiful beach and video! It reminded me of our recent Buck Island trip!
Thanks Devangi! Buck Island is truly amazing.
Are people required to stay on the trial, or can they explore on their own. If anyone knows of other snorkeling spots on St, Croix that can be reached by Jeep, hiking or swimming, please post them. Thank you.
When you go snorkeling, they require you to stay with your group as they do a tour of the trail. After the tour of the underwater trail is done, then you can explore on your own till your time is up and have to get back on the boat. Here are 2 other spots that were awesome for snorkeling. 1. The Frederiksted Pier: ruclips.net/video/52gU9swYEjY/видео.html and 2. Cane Bay Beach: ruclips.net/video/v_oG_8DGMEs/видео.html I hope that helps!
@@JordanOutside thanks
What did you use to shoot the underwater footage?
I used a GoPro Hero 9 Black.
