As you can see...its been a wild ride! And we've missed you!!! We have been enjoying parenthood & spending every second we can soaking it all in - so thank you for your patience as we slowly get back into the swing of things with this channel! WE LOVE YOU!

What a rollercoaster!! I love Marcus' outlook on everything... God has truly given you quite the series of tests to develop patience. Sounds like it has been such a challenging experience... But God is crafting you to be such strong role models of His image for James to look up to and learn from 💕🙌

Totally get what you mean about delays. Although we’re doing most ourselves, good being delayed causes so many problems and delays to move in dates.

Each super-sized trial you've both walked through has only strengthened you in your spirit, in your faith, and in living the abundant life Jesus promised to us in John 10:10. Thank you, so much for sharing your housing story. Now, we know more specifically what to pray for concerning your current needs. Every good and perfect gift coming down from heaven upon your lives, from the Father of lights (James 1:17), only causes my heart to rejoice over you that much more. There are no three people who deserve heaven's blessings more than you all do! Enjoy this amazing season in your lives, and have a truly Merry & Blessed Christmas as you celebrate our dear Savior's glorious birth.

My hubby & I bought our first home about 2 years ago, while I was applying to medical school. THAT was rough! I can’t imagine juggling all that you are but it’s so awesome & im so excited for you 3! 😍

This is so encouraging! My husband and I had a year of trying to make things work and God kept closing doors. It’s super discouraging in the moment but I’m excited for God’s timing in our lives like you have experienced! Thanks for sharing your testimony and I’m always blown away by how y’all are going through things similar to us-God uses you to encourage me!!

This is just wonderful I don't really comment but this made me tear up because Of how wonderful God is and He definitely finishes what He started for His glory and His ideas are always the best. I have heard a lot of "living situation" stories around me including myself in this past year and it's so wonderful to see the process and how God leads us to lean unto Him and not to our own understanding. I’m thinking house prices differ vastly from LA to Tennessee, they probably had quite a budget once moving!
Property taxes are also soooo low in TN
Airbnb has deals when you stay for longer so it’s more like a rental. Which I assume they knew they’d have to do before purchasing. Prices are definitely wayyyy different from LA to Tennessee. They did also say that their family, not them, now owns the Airbnb they’re staying in (bought it while they were renting it).
I'm sure with their RUclips and social media followings they get paid very well
It definitely blows my mind thinking about the moving parts here and the amount of money shifting around 🤣 but I'm glad it's all working out for them! God's hand is in it.
This sounds beyond frustrating, but it is an opportunity to be thankful of the Lord’s mercies. He saved you guys a from terrible financial situation. My sister was also pregnant going through a very difficult circumstance (not financial) and was in major distress and things for both her and you being pregnant could’ve been way worse. The Lord has great mercy. Thank God y’all had a roof over your heads, food to eat, family, etc.

Your story is so surreal even though I went through a similar situation with my family 🤣 it’s just as hectic! And it took me personally 2 and a half years before I finally felt happy and adapted to moving (moved to TX from CA) to finally be around my fathers side of the family. I’m sooooo happy for you guys and coincidentally enough I had wished my parents would’ve chose TN! That’s so crazy but I’m so glad you guys got a beautiful story and so much out of it. I’m still trying to find my pot of gold at the end of all the moving and missing CA 😂 you guys and Cody & Lexy are major inspos I now show your videos to my mom cause I admire you and your lives so much! Whew, your going have to be patient with me... I am a new subscriber and I am playing "catch up". I fell in love with your new "farm" and then all the sudden I read "were moving back to Califnoria". I went " OH NO"...and thinking wow what a beautiful farm and what a place to bring up children....and even the kitty loves you already and you love her and the horses love your baby organic carrots. Then you found that gorgeous home with all the land and I just said WOW what a blessing for the John's family, furture kids and the dogs. Big projects too Marcus along with baby arriving. Wow hearing that ending part of how God made ways for you guys in Tennessee and for your families. It brings me back to the accident or the video of you, Kristin, wondering if TN was the right place and how you were so lonely. It made me choke up because the fruits from the accident or all those low moments you shared with us are really coming to harvest now.

I was in a very very similar situation at the same exact time as you guys! Was trying to buy a property owned by a family where one of the family members had a lien against them. We kept having it extended and extended and extended. It was the MOST exhausting process because you fall in love with the house but have to trust your gut and let things go. And now I’m in my very first home and it’s perfect and I’m so thankful the Lord works things out for the good of those who trust him.

It’s so bizarre how similar our experience is! We actually bought a house but found all this stuff out after and ended up sueing the seller. I was very pregnant the WHOLE time as well! The seller has a horrible track record and it’s the most insane experience
