Ever wonder what I looked and sounded like when I was younger? This is video of me performing at age 25 on the night of my college graduation (as a music major) in 1995. It's from the Underground in Provo, Utah, the very first venue I ever played. (Don't look for it, it's not there anymore.)
The audio quality is what it is, considering this is home camcorder video (shot by my mom). At the beginning, you'll see my sister Marianne sitting next to me in one of the booths. There was also a large table of friends sitting directly in front of me (you'll see a bit of them towards the end). This is just highlights, giving you a sample of the set list. You'll recognize all the songs as songs I perform today on my live streams (with one notable exception!).

I was always shocked how many people went on talking so loudly during your performances. In the pizza parlor, I always thought you deserved an eruption of applause. I’m glad you have more recognition now 👏🏼
Here in Brazil, we have this same situation.
I agree, it was always confusing to see someone so talented playing at a pizza place and seemingly being ignored.
They came for the food. And the mic is probably closer to them then the performance. He is great though

So hard to play in restaurants. It’s demeaning. When I am in a restaurant and someone is doing a set I either listen quietly or leave.
