2018, I recently stumbled upon the Masse and Hall cover Scarborough Fair/Canticle. I left a comment and continued listening to Mike Masse (et al) covers for a couple days. Then I received a response from Mike Masse. He is talented and fairly famous yet he took the time to respond and that lifted me. Every single day of every year...someone is being lifted by Mike Massee's music.
"Cover the music, cover the world." That's so awesome. I think so many musicians see cover bands/projects as either a "gateway" to their career writing and performing original songs or as just a hobby (ie, easy and fun way just to get a few gigs), BUT I think it's great that you have found your calling as a cover artist, which is exactly that: an art form. And you, sir, are a master of it! Love seeing your interpretations of great music.
