i mean, canonically, we dont have anything official on his hair, cause there is could be many reasons, they retcon him being blonde and then the official designer for snake says he dyes his hair, and then retcon him to always being brown hair in twin snakes, which was a shitty remake. honestly, for all we know he could actually be blonde, but just prefers to dye it brown, hence why he has brown hair in the original mg games, and the reason he's blonde at the start of mgs1 could simply come down to him just coming out of a drunken, PTSD ridden depression and hasn't felt ready enough to dye his hair, we may never know now

Both even have an older brother named Eli. Also, as MGS4 showed, both Zero and Big Boss misunderstood The Boss' will--a figure whom they pretty much deified in the series--trying to fulfill it their own way. However, arguably, only Solid was the one who fought for what she truly meant the whole time, as her philosophy from BB in MGS4's epilogue: fighting for what they believe in, while respecting everyone else's, much like how of the old testament kings, only David truly had that special relationship and understanding of God's character and goals.

But when they was making the games they had to re-use snake model from MGS2 for part 3 that he has brown hair but when they re-told the story of twin snake. They use MGS2 snake model.. And snake still has brown hair is because of his brother.

correct, he was being briefed by Roy Campbell and he showed snake pictures of everyone who had taken Shadow Moses, liquids picture was in the finale and even Campbell stated that the two could be exact duplicates snake then cut and dyed his hair

There actually was a explanation given in the mission briefing in MGS 1. He cut his hair short and dyed it brown to distinguish himself from Liquid Snake as they are both a part of a set of triplets. A lot of people dont know Snake is actually blond.. lol

That's Naked Snake (aka Big Boss) you're referring, he's the same protagonist we played on MGS3 and Portable OPS, there were only in-game magazine that has easter egg about him and the other Snake clones, and he was mention once (including Liquid) at the true ending in Kaz's cassette tape, Naked Snake loses right eye when he was young, you can see Solid Snake still has both of his eyes in MGS4

not really Hedgehogs eats Snakes, but the Japanese voice of Eggman is voice by Akio Otsuka who also voices Solid Snake, Solidus and Big Boss in the MGS so indirectly Solid Snake is Eggman's VA in the Japanese not really because Hedgehogs eats snakes.

There actually was a explanation given in the mission briefing in MGS 1. He cut his hair short and dyed it brown to distinguish himself from Liquid Snake as they are both a part of a set of triplets. A lot of people dont know Snake is actually blond.. lol
It’s weird because in Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, his hair is depicted as brown. Maybe he dyed his hair then too?
@@DrThickNeck like with the rest of the later series, Snake was sort of retconed with MGS1. Basically everyone besides Snake, Grey Fox and Big boss was introduced in MG1.

That's Naked Snake (aka Big Boss) you're referring, he's the same protagonist we played on MGS3 and Portable OPS, there were only in-game magazine that has easter egg about him and the other Snake clones, and he was mention once (including Liquid) at the true ending in Kaz's cassette tape, Naked Snake loses right eye when he was young, you can see Solid Snake still has both of his eyes in MGS4

MGS2 when u meet up with snake. He first uses usp but when ur health drops to certain amount then he starts using m4.Its a good strat on higher difficulties to let yourself get damaged so he uses m4 and carries the second tengu fight

Snake's Revenge wasn't the official second part. It was just a non canon NES exclusive. Metal Gear 2 - Solid Snake was the official sequel and it wasn't Japan exclusive. it was released together with Metal Gear in Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence in 2005

The Sonic bit is actually a reference lost in localization; Big Boss' Voice actor is Eggman's in japan. So instinctively being his clone he hates sonic. Without that; Snake just sorta is a dick...which while in character is weird.

If snake was fluent in all these languages why tf did I spend all those hours extracting interpreters in MGSV 😂 also there is an explanation for how his hair changes. If you watch that video at the beginning of mgs1 when he has blonde hair once he sees a picture of liquid he asks for some scissors and cuts his hair claiming “he can’t be walking around looking like the leader of the terrorists”
