Kuku will always have a special place in my heart. I remember getting her and then proceeding to solo Arc 1 with her at level 80. Definitely summoning for her when her EN release arrives.
Jp summer was pretty stacked overall. Weakest was probably gyaru fox but that's not saying much bad on that with the rest being so strong in gimmicks and farming potential Wish bunny-castoria had some better ascension. Felt like I was watching Alice in wonderland again.

I was hoping Tezcatlipoca was there and damn, he actually made it. That man is just absurd all around. I still remember the Assassin tier list with Plushie and Myst and him being put to EX+, solidifying his place in the meta and the best of his class. Months later, Tezcatlipoca is still HIM and the hype still lives, WOO Gang eternal!
I'm happy that Tezcatlipoca is getting the recognitions he wanted. I mean looking back when everyone were criticizing over his character design. But his skill sets and NP are damn amazing!

On the subject of the berserk Castoria anti synergy with normal Castoria, on Challenge quests you would want to run her with Lady avalon instead of double Castoria which would allow her to get 500% overcharge even in the second spot of the NP chain
It is sad that Tiamat Larvae didnt made this list but its still insane to think that this was insane on how overpowered the servants are and we might get more insane servants in 2024 as well.
Also, damn this year IS stacked if you think about it... Aesc, Kenshin and Medusa are all the best in its respective roles but couldn't make this list and well... it's fair. A top 10 would be nice.

My personal fav is ruler kagetora. Can’t wait for her to come out in na. I also really loved Tiamat can‘t wait for her too. Can’t say that i am super excited for summer melu. She is super strong but i am just kinda tired of Arts looping at this point lol. Overall, this year was really stacked. Love all the releases
Yea same, I'm hype for Summer Melu but not another arts looper. I'd summon on Berserker Castoria and then I'd hit Melu's for the 4*'s and hopefully her. Kagetora is my end goal the year she comes out, I'm sure I'll have enough time between her and Ptolemy
as a FGO NA player, i am definitely going with the servants #3 - #1 Summer Castoria... As i can save a lot of SQ next year as there are not that much notable servants to roll in FGO NA next year. IM also interested in that beast servant (Draco)..
Honestly I'm just interested in draco for the class as I could see myself using her. Chloe summer for cu- I mean competitive skills in farming.....nny. Zerktoria would be a bonus on that bonus. Kuku chan as I found her gameplay very good same as character Probably the males in the last few months they were incredible too. Na wise mostly reruns like Melusine. Np 5 ereshkigal. Possibly np 2 Morgan. SIbuki or sSkadi if want some extra back up for farming.
I gave up on JP for a year now since I want to read the story, so this is my first time seeing Zerker castoria in action. . At first I was like "lol, that T-pose, she's glitched" as a joke. Then I saw her NP and my mind was blown lore-wise as the T-pose is actually resembling a star... . Is she, zerker castoria, the "star" caster castoria has been mentioning in LB6 and her NP lines?
i think mama tiamat is on the 5 place on melusine place, the fact the she is has the most damage os all buster farmers, and has a skill on 2 turn cd for me is more veluable
Melu being ruler is the only reason why and her looping capabilities on irregular enemy count nodes is great. If Tiamat was a ruler, avenger, or zerk she'd probably be best on this list IMO or at least #2. Kuku is better than her though as it stands IMO.
I'm glad Tonelico is at least made it to the Honorable Mention. Hurtful as it is as a Morgan Fan, she can be rather hard to use with her S3 and S2. As for Castoria, I only have 1 Gripe and it's a Minor one and that she only has 1 Damage Buff when hitting none of her Traits, altho with a Single Buff she is not that far from Vlad's Upgraded NP so maybe it is a Personal Gripe

uh no year 6 is much stronger since it has two dominant supports as well as strong dps in Oberon, Vitch, Morgan, Melusine, supports > dps. Year 6 - Oberon, Vitch, Morgan, Melusine, Taira Year 7 - Summer Skadi, Summer Ibuki, Arc, Lady Avalon, Bazett Year 5 - Castoria, Van Gogh, Douman, Himiko, Ibuki Year 8 - Summer Castoria, Draco, Kukuklan, Tez, Summer Melusine
It's funny you mention that kukul has the same flaw as other buster loopers not being able to run stuff like black grail and then mention Morgan who can actually run black grail because of her split batteries
Kuku and nero should be reversed in this top list - kuku has more kit sinergy with absurd passives, simplicity of use and 2 times more usability (all classes)compared to nero D
Honestly I might use this video to remind myself why I'm saving as the next year rolls in. Was such a good year with great servants. Pretty sure I'm going to try hard to get just about everyone on this list. I need Summer Melusine! Agree with the placement here. But she's definitely my top priority! Every ascension is gold there and she's just a well built arts looper! I know Ibuki is technically better. But I got to go with the cute. Honestly the only one on this list I probably skip is...Tezcatlipoca. I feel bad to say it. But I'm just not feeling the design or card art. Plus only need so many arts loopers. Totally makes sense why he's on this list. Kukulkan seems pretty fun. Kind of wild how her kit can go crazy when you load them with stars. Draco just seems like a total win. I honestly felt bad that it seemed like Beast Nero would never be a thing in FGO. But here she is and they did a great job! It's all or nothing with her to be sure. She'll either carve up the 7 main classes or get carved up by extra classes. But I love the thematic nature of her kit and that it does all come together and it works in the end. Having 2 years to see how things play out is nice. But I'll definitely try to get a copy or two at least. Berserker Castoria? Yes, please! Cute, powerful, and utterly broken! Love the style of her NP. They knew Castoria should get nothing less than this and just went for it. I'll be all over that Summer event rolling on both banners!
Summer Castoria could be the answer to everything in this game, i'm not touching her. i didn't build Vlad up in the 4 years i've been playing just to ditch him.
This video just confirms what I've been thinking all year....that despite the problems with content and pacing, they've actually done a pretty great job with the servants released this year
The quality of this year's Servants are pretty stellar, I'd argue it's the best one we have if not for the 1-2 meta support that released in past years and 2021. Quantity wise it's actually mostly the same as well, we just get fewer events compared to past years
damn next year might not be THAT hard but the year after will be quite hell like this year on NA. i want all of them except summer castoria....zerktoria? mainly because ill go all out on melusine summer (and the other two knights as well ofc) i was never a nero fan but her beast form tho so cool. And i also want Kenshin chan. But the hardest will prolly be lb7...i want all of them xD kuku, tlaloc, tez and even nito even tho she is standard....sigh...hopefully my rolls in lb7 will be as lucky as lb6...
I got Aesc NP3, Tiamat NP2 and Draco NP2 this year. I'd rank Aesc the highest since she's doing the highest numbers I've seen an AOE servant spit out from my roster. Simply pair her with Miss Crane, another support and two Koyans and you will see some shit happen.
Its interesting, draco is OP coz she has an OP class. Meanwhile tiamat is held back by a mid class. Tbh, l think she would be stronger if she had an omni class like berserker or other neutral classes ie ruler. And lore wise, she can totally be a ruler seeing her character traits.
Not necessarily though, the developers have specifically noted that the beast class will have varying effects, meaning that the anti servant class niche is limited to Draco. It's quite literally a part of her design specifically

No Tiamom? I also find it funny that Tez and Draco are like yin and yang. Draco is hard carried by her class while Tez is severely held back by his class.
I think you might be overrating Scastoria. For the majority of players who cannot whale for high NP levels, Scastoria's damage is horribly lacluckster, only reinforced by the fact that her anti-traits are distributed to her disadvantage. Anti-divinity is what you would want as NPmod, not the extremely rare Threat to Humanity yet she gets anti-divinity as a special damage up buff instead, making it a damage type3 buff thus reducing the effectiveness of np damage ups she gets. For F2P players who can't afford high NP-levels, I'd say Draco is far better as a single target arts servant. For rare cases of extra classes, you can bring one of the other servants you have. Draco's high damage potential even at NP1 makes her f2p-friendly. Also, I personally wouldn't have put 2 single target Servants at top 2. Sure, they have their use in multi-core setups but current FGO farming meta still hugely favour AoE Servants. Kukulkan should have been #1
Ehhhh... Both Draco and SCastoria have seen a lot of usage in 90++ (Amazing battery distribution for Cas, the ability to pass extremely rough damage checks in w3 against Servants for Draco), while Kuku didn't see much usage in most recent nodes.

No one mentioned on the list is good at NP1 or F2P friendly Once Soyny took over NP3 became the new norm.

Kukulkan as a aoe buster has the weakness of no black grail- if you want a aoe buster farmer either go with melusine or tiamat if you consider farming 90++. For 90 and 90+ kuku will be enough tho. Draco is insanly good if you dont have meta units and zerktoria is very f2p friendly as well but to shine on the damage part u prob want more np levels but you dont have to kill bosses in 1 turn if you have defense options which castoria and zerktoria has plenty. If u want a universal boss killer go with zerktoria. But Draco will give you an easyer time with the 7 knight class but u cant do extra class bosses which is a big pay off if you dont have sometbody against them.@@Founder_of_Morgans_Fanclub
You 100% got it. I think the same as a F2P who has Kuku, Bartoria (but not Draco), I think Kuku is just godtier. Her crits hits so hard compared to Bartoria, she has 3B deck, her super invul is amazing, has evasion, has party damage and her self buffs are insane. She saved me in the latest 90++ node (an AOE), and now I can't make Bartoria work for this lotto no matter what, because she is NP1 and her damage is just too low for wave 3. Funny enough, Berserker Jalter is farming this 90++ for me. But yeah definitely, Kuku is just superior to ANY servant released in 2023 imo. She carried me through basically everything in the game. Bartoria can't remotely do similar.
i think all of them could be number 1 depending on what you need and where your account is. kukulkan is a good all rounder,she can farm,do CQ and even support really well,people just sleep on it because it's almost always better to just buff herself she could even be better then waver in some cases. but if you already have a really strong farmer and you want a strong ST then castoria and draco are really good. only have art support and not buster?,go for melu or tez. there all really good. the only thing i think is important is that it's better to have 1 or 2 of them at higher np level then have all of them at np1. gameplay wise you don't need tez if you have kuku or melu and the other way around. if your a f2p pick a favorite or be smart and save enough if you want them. or idk whale.
Still very conflicted about Nero Draco and summer Castoria, i want try do roll for both, but i think that it's better choice one and try for higher np ( np3 or higher if lucky ) and not have both at low np, epecially because both of them are singol target arts very good in 90++
Personally, I'd chose Draco simply because she has yet to have a rerun and doesn't even appear on the GSSRs. Summer Castoria, however, has appeared on the GSSRs and will most likely be back for the summer rerun.
I would personally recommend going for Draco when she comes to NA simply because she has not had a single rerun, not even on GSSR banners, as opposed to Summer Castoria who will no doubt be back for summer rerun as all summer servants do.
The Anti-Synergy with vanilla Castoria's NP is the only downside to Summer Castoria. Its slightly harder to max Solemn Defence if she is your damage dealer in an immortal style comp. It's like complaining the $100 bill you got has a crease in it.
@@TheAnaz41745 it doesn't matter. In an ideal scenario, the amount of facecards you need is 0. Facecards are unreliable, crits - even more so. The only truly reliable thing is NP damage.
Overall really like 2023... getting Tonelico and Summer Castoria was a BIG WIN for me and Tiamat and Draco as well. Also the male servants are really cool as well (Tez and Ptolemy specifically) The collab, ordeal call 1 and the rewards, summer 8 and even the anniversary (which a lot of people are too harsh on) are some great moments for JP. Also on NA we got LB6. W YEAR! Hopefully next one is even better!
I would've put tiamat instead tezca or kuku, she's the best aoe buster, also her healing in her 3rd skill with that low cd and debuff cleaning before damage in her np, she just lack defense, but she can destroy anything before gets hit, just my opinion
i think her CQ is not as good unfortunately and her farming is only extraordinary in single core, her multi core is fine but i just dont find myself gravitating towards her as much and I have her NP6
Her alter ego class really holds her back. Doing half to knights and still taking neutral damage from all class except zerks and foreigners is really hard to use.
still dont get why people use KKK not synergy with van gogh as demerit with her already insane kit and crit potential its obvious that she wont get that passive cuz at that point she would be beyond broken it looks to me like plushie ran out of demerits for her😅 should put the more clicking as a demerit since thats fitting since a lot of people complain about that

I'm not sure I agree with Summer Mélusine. Sure, she's flashy, but she doesn't do anything new, and she competes with Ibuki and loses on all accounts except for the 1/1/1 niche, which, as an AoE...I don't care. If she hit Evil or Human or some trait that might be enough, but as is, I don't see any compelling reason to pull for her outside of character loyalty. Avenger Nito can do the same thing (loop anything) and she can spook. Her value is contingent on you not having the alternatives. Tiamat loops with BG and solves the problem of looping cavalry nodes, so you could invest in Oberon and Tiamat and more or less have your bases covered. She has great ramp, good 90++ potential, and even stalls well. I'd personally rank them as: 1/ Tezcatlipoca 2/ Tiamat 3/ Summer Castoria 4/ Kukulkan 5/ Draco
I started with a ebay SQ account in Summer because I want to play with Summer Castoria and was afraid to wait 2 years for it in NA and the game die Got NP3 Summer Castoria and NP3 Summer Melusine and man I did EVERY-fucking-thing with those two till now (I didnt had choice because I couldn't level up many servants due to lack of materials) but they just carry me, I managed to do every single 90++, Challenge Quest, Advanvced Quests and Ordeal Call Free Quests till now.... Amazing, I'll go for NP5 next year for Castoria for sure and If I got lucky I'll go for NP5 Melusine Summer as well. I am very happy.
I started a fresh JP account for the same reason - Castoria got me to play NA and Summer Castoria got me playing JP. Using all the beginner quartz they throw at you I got all 6 summer servants (but only at NP1) and was able to cook EVERYTHING despite minimum NP levels and lack of resources. Grail front and 90++ nodes? I certainly wasn't 3 turning, but I got it done! With the exception of Demeter (had to revive) I have been able to clear everything so far purely off the OP summer lineup!

Yea, people don't use Kuro anymore. She is very hard to use while maintaining party cost and most people in JP use Multicore. The people who were shitting on Bakatoria are now eating their words as Bakatoria is dominating this lottery's comps and the 90++ doesn't even have any of her niches.

Though I’m a Melusine fan, I still think that Tonelico deserve the number 5 more than her. Melusine summer is a great, but she has a big problem which is Ibuki summer. Ibuki summer just too strong that almost every other art aoe looper seem unnecessary. Compare to Tonelico, although Caster is not a great class for a damage dealer, she has a great kit for multi-core team, which in my opinion is essential for 90++ or maybe 90* in the future farming.
I never used Van Gogh so idk how broken she is but I have used kukulkan and imo her dmg is broken, kinda surprise she's only on 3rd. Then again there has been a real big competition this year lol
Her and summer Castoria simply have different roles, one is aoe and the other is single target. If anything i think that she should have been at least n.2 instead of Draco exactly because she's the best of the AoE dps so it would have been fair to have the top 1-2 being AoE + single target.

I'd go for Tez. The only thing Basatoria excel against him is the part wide reinforce on her np. Otherwise, Tez is universally more useful than Basatoria. His np damage ramps up too.
I can’t tell but I’m going to assume that Basatoria means Berserker Castoria and you saying universally that Tez is better than Summer Castoria is wrong. First they excel at different things, Tez with farming since he can fit into single core and multi core comps. However Summer Castoria is built for CQs and more challenging content in mind. Granted Summer Castoria can act as a mid wave clearer in a 90+ or maybe even a 90++ node. Another thing to keep in mind is what everyone has in their box. Most people should have or will get Summer Valkyrie’s from the event or evocation fest which means the arte looping assassin is filled. Granted Tez does it much better. On the other hand Summer Castoria is a ST berserker with only Vlad and Galatea. S.Castoria brings a lot more to the team and since Galatea and Vlad are permanent characters they can spook you but you could also never get them unless you pull for their banners/pick them on a ssr ticket. So everything depends on your box. If you need an AOE assassin/looper (you should have valk but…also more dedicated loopers are much better like SIbuki or Spishtar etc) or if you need a ST berserker. Everything I said is based on my assumption that you ment Summer Castoria and what I believe.

@@vylon1075 You can use him in multicore but S. Castoria can also be used as CQ clearer and crit dps as well as midwave ST clearer as well as maybe solo but it depends. Also Kriemhild does not "destroy" castoria. From NP damage calculators with S.Castoria at NP 1 1k fou vs NP2 Kriemhild 1k fou no CE's Kreimhild can outdamge S.Castoria if both have their anti traits on their np active. However a NP2 S.Castoria is close to or even out damages a NP5 Kreimhild under the same conditions. Kriemhild also has a chaotic mod however there are only I think 18 servants who are both chaotic and dragon but S.Castoria also has damage mods against Divine and Chaotic which contains a larger pool of servents than Kreimhild. You can define universally useful however you want but I think you should compare AOE with AOE and ST with ST. While you don't use ST as much as AOE, ST is becoming more prevalent in 90++ farming as well as more challenging endgame content.
Summer Castoria literally T-poses on the enemy. Enough said. She knows what's up. The idea of a new player (not necessarily an ignorant new player) getting Draco early enough in the story amuses me. They will stream roll for quite some time. It reminds me of my best friend getting Castoria immediately upon starting FGO, not to mention her broken luck just getting better as she played as she got the Buster Meta Servants relatively easily too. She never felt challenged till fighting Fluffy in LB6. Lol ...Knowing her luck, she'll probably get Summer Castoria off a Ticket. 😅

Kuku will always have a special place in my heart. I remember getting her and then proceeding to solo Arc 1 with her at level 80. Definitely summoning for her when her EN release arrives.
Jp summer was pretty stacked overall. Weakest was probably gyaru fox but that's not saying much bad on that with the rest being so strong in gimmicks and farming potential

I was hoping Tezcatlipoca was there and damn, he actually made it. That man is just absurd all around. I still remember the Assassin tier list with Plushie and Myst and him being put to EX+, solidifying his place in the meta and the best of his class.

On the subject of the berserk Castoria anti synergy with normal Castoria, on Challenge quests you would want to run her with Lady avalon instead of double Castoria which would allow her to get 500% overcharge even in the second spot of the NP chain
It is sad that Tiamat Larvae didnt made this list but its still insane to think that this was insane on how overpowered the servants are and we might get more insane servants in 2024 as well.
Also, damn this year IS stacked if you think about it... Aesc, Kenshin and Medusa are all the best in its respective roles but couldn't make this list and well... it's fair. A top 10 would be nice.

i think mama tiamat is on the 5 place on melusine place, the fact the she is has the most damage os all buster farmers, and has a skill on 2 turn cd for me is more veluable

Melu being ruler is the only reason why and her looping capabilities on irregular enemy count nodes is great. If Tiamat was a ruler, avenger, or zerk she'd probably be best on this list IMO or at least #2. Kuku is better than her though as it stands IMO.

I'm glad Tonelico is at least made it to the Honorable Mention. Hurtful as it is as a Morgan Fan, she can be rather hard to use with her S3 and S2. As for Castoria, I only have 1 Gripe and it's a Minor one and that she only has 1 Damage Buff when hitting none of her Traits, altho with a Single Buff she is not that far from Vlad's Upgraded NP so maybe it is a Personal Gripe

uh no year 6 is much stronger since it has two dominant supports as well as strong dps in Oberon, Vitch, Morgan, Melusine, supports > dps.

It's funny you mention that kukul has the same flaw as other buster loopers not being able to run stuff like black grail and then mention Morgan who can actually run black grail because of her split batteries
Kuku and nero should be reversed in this top list - kuku has more kit sinergy with absurd passives, simplicity of use and 2 times more usability (all classes)compared to nero D

Was such a good year with great servants. Pretty sure I'm going to try hard to get just about everyone on this list. I need Summer Melusine! Agree with the placement here. But she's definitely my top priority! Every ascension is gold there and she's just a well built arts looper! I know Ibuki is technically better. But I got to go with the cute.
Honestly the only one on this list I probably skip is...Tezcatlipoca. I feel bad to say it. But I'm just not feeling the design or card art. Plus only need so many arts loopers. Totally makes sense why he's on this list.
Kukulkan seems pretty fun. Kind of wild how her kit can go crazy when you load them with stars.
Draco just seems like a total win. I honestly felt bad that it seemed like Beast Nero would never be a thing in FGO. But here she is and they did a great job! It's all or nothing with her to be sure. She'll either carve up the 7 main classes or get carved up by extra classes. But I love the thematic nature of her kit and that it does all come together and it works in the end. Having 2 years to see how things play out is nice. But I'll definitely try to get a copy or two at least.
Berserker Castoria? Yes, please! Cute, powerful, and utterly broken! Love the style of her NP. They knew Castoria should get nothing less than this and just went for it. I'll be all over that Summer event rolling on both banners!

This video just confirms what I've been thinking all year....that despite the problems with content and pacing, they've actually done a pretty great job with the servants released this year

The quality of this year's Servants are pretty stellar, I'd argue it's the best one we have if not for the 1-2 meta support that released in past years and 2021. Quantity wise it's actually mostly the same as well, we just get fewer events compared to past years
damn next year might not be THAT hard but the year after will be quite hell like this year on NA.

I got Aesc NP3, Tiamat NP2 and Draco NP2 this year. I'd rank Aesc the highest since she's doing the highest numbers I've seen an AOE servant spit out from my roster. Simply pair her with Miss Crane, another support and two Koyans and you will see some shit happen.

Its interesting, draco is OP coz she has an OP class. Meanwhile tiamat is held back by a mid class. Tbh, l think she would be stronger if she had an omni class like berserker or other neutral classes ie ruler. And lore wise, she can totally be a ruler seeing her character traits.
Not necessarily though, the developers have specifically noted that the beast class will have varying effects, meaning that the anti servant class niche is limited to Draco. It's quite literally a part of her design specifically

I think you might be overrating Scastoria. For the majority of players who cannot whale for high NP levels, Scastoria's damage is horribly lacluckster, only reinforced by the fact that her anti-traits are distributed to her disadvantage. Anti-divinity is what you would want as NPmod, not the extremely rare Threat to Humanity yet she gets anti-divinity as a special damage up buff instead, making it a damage type3 buff thus reducing the effectiveness of np damage ups she gets.
For F2P players who can't afford high NP-levels, I'd say Draco is far better as a single target arts servant. For rare cases of extra classes, you can bring one of the other servants you have. Draco's high damage potential even at NP1 makes her f2p-friendly.
Also, I personally wouldn't have put 2 single target Servants at top 2. Sure, they have their use in multi-core setups but current FGO farming meta still hugely favour AoE Servants. Kukulkan should have been #1
Ehhhh... Both Draco and SCastoria have seen a lot of usage in 90++ (Amazing battery distribution for Cas, the ability to pass extremely rough damage checks in w3 against Servants for Draco), while Kuku didn't see much usage in most recent nodes.

Kukulkan as a aoe buster has the weakness of no black grail- if you want a aoe buster farmer either go with melusine or tiamat if you consider farming 90++.
For 90 and 90+ kuku will be enough tho.
Draco is insanly good if you dont have meta units and zerktoria is very f2p friendly as well but to shine on the damage part u prob want more np levels but you dont have to kill bosses in 1 turn if you have defense options which castoria and zerktoria has plenty. If u want a universal boss killer go with zerktoria.
But Draco will give you an easyer time with the 7 knight class but u cant do extra class bosses which is a big pay off if you dont have sometbody against them.@@Founder_of_Morgans_Fanclub
You 100% got it. I think the same as a F2P who has Kuku, Bartoria (but not Draco), I think Kuku is just godtier. Her crits hits so hard compared to Bartoria, she has 3B deck, her super invul is amazing, has evasion, has party damage and her self buffs are insane.
She saved me in the latest 90++ node (an AOE), and now I can't make Bartoria work for this lotto no matter what, because she is NP1 and her damage is just too low for wave 3.
Funny enough, Berserker Jalter is farming this 90++ for me.
But yeah definitely, Kuku is just superior to ANY servant released in 2023 imo. She carried me through basically everything in the game. Bartoria can't remotely do similar.
i think all of them could be number 1 depending on what you need and where your account is.
kukulkan is a good all rounder,she can farm,do CQ and even support really well,people just sleep on it because it's almost always better to just buff herself she could even be better then waver in some cases.
but if you already have a really strong farmer and you want a strong ST then castoria and draco are really good.
only have art support and not buster?,go for melu or tez.

the only thing i think is important is that it's better to have 1 or 2 of them at higher np level then have all of them at np1.
gameplay wise you don't need tez if you have kuku or melu and the other way around.

Personally, I'd chose Draco simply because she has yet to have a rerun and doesn't even appear on the GSSRs. Summer Castoria, however, has appeared on the GSSRs and will most likely be back for the summer rerun.

I would personally recommend going for Draco when she comes to NA simply because she has not had a single rerun, not even on GSSR banners, as opposed to Summer Castoria who will no doubt be back for summer rerun as all summer servants do.

The Anti-Synergy with vanilla Castoria's NP is the only downside to Summer Castoria. Its slightly harder to max Solemn Defence if she is your damage dealer in an immortal style comp. It's like complaining the $100 bill you got has a crease in it.
Summer Castoria has a weakness - it's her NP damage.
NP2 Kintoki outdamages NP5 Arcas when she doesn't hit Chaotic or Divine.

Facecards are unreliable, crits - even more so. The only truly reliable thing is NP damage.

Overall really like 2023... getting Tonelico and Summer Castoria was a BIG WIN for me and Tiamat and Draco as well.
Also the male servants are really cool as well (Tez and Ptolemy specifically)
The collab, ordeal call 1 and the rewards, summer 8 and even the anniversary (which a lot of people are too harsh on) are some great moments for JP. Also on NA we got LB6.

I would've put tiamat instead tezca or kuku, she's the best aoe buster, also her healing in her 3rd skill with that low cd and debuff cleaning before damage in her np, she just lack defense, but she can destroy anything before gets hit, just my opinion
i think her CQ is not as good unfortunately and her farming is only extraordinary in single core, her multi core is fine but i just dont find myself gravitating towards her as much and I have her NP6

I'm not sure I agree with Summer Mélusine. Sure, she's flashy, but she doesn't do anything new, and she competes with Ibuki and loses on all accounts except for the 1/1/1 niche, which, as an AoE...I don't care. If she hit Evil or Human or some trait that might be enough, but as is, I don't see any compelling reason to pull for her outside of character loyalty. Avenger Nito can do the same thing (loop anything) and she can spook. Her value is contingent on you not having the alternatives.
Tiamat loops with BG and solves the problem of looping cavalry nodes, so you could invest in Oberon and Tiamat and more or less have your bases covered. She has great ramp, good 90++ potential, and even stalls well.
I'd personally rank them as:
1/ Tezcatlipoca
2/ Tiamat
3/ Summer Castoria
4/ Kukulkan
5/ Draco
I started with a ebay SQ account in Summer because I want to play with Summer Castoria and was afraid to wait 2 years for it in NA and the game die
Got NP3 Summer Castoria and NP3 Summer Melusine and man I did EVERY-fucking-thing with those two till now (I didnt had choice because I couldn't level up many servants due to lack of materials) but they just carry me, I managed to do every single 90++, Challenge Quest, Advanvced Quests and Ordeal Call Free Quests till now.... Amazing, I'll go for NP5 next year for Castoria for sure and If I got lucky I'll go for NP5 Melusine Summer as well.

I started a fresh JP account for the same reason - Castoria got me to play NA and Summer Castoria got me playing JP. Using all the beginner quartz they throw at you I got all 6 summer servants (but only at NP1) and was able to cook EVERYTHING despite minimum NP levels and lack of resources. Grail front and 90++ nodes? I certainly wasn't 3 turning, but I got it done! With the exception of Demeter (had to revive) I have been able to clear everything so far purely off the OP summer lineup!

Though I’m a Melusine fan, I still think that Tonelico deserve the number 5 more than her. Melusine summer is a great, but she has a big problem which is Ibuki summer. Ibuki summer just too strong that almost every other art aoe looper seem unnecessary. Compare to Tonelico, although Caster is not a great class for a damage dealer, she has a great kit for multi-core team, which in my opinion is essential for 90++ or maybe 90* in the future farming.

I have always thought that Kuku was the best servant in the game. I was surprised with 1st place.
Her and summer Castoria simply have different roles, one is aoe and the other is single target. If anything i think that she should have been at least n.2 instead of Draco exactly because she's the best of the AoE dps so it would have been fair to have the top 1-2 being AoE + single target.

summer ibuki is prob the best farmer in the game and can clear a lot of bosses easy.
and lady lady avalon and summer skadi are both meta support and meta support will always win over pure dps.

I'd go for Tez. The only thing Basatoria excel against him is the part wide reinforce on her np. Otherwise, Tez is universally more useful than Basatoria. His np damage ramps up too.
I can’t tell but I’m going to assume that Basatoria means Berserker Castoria and you saying universally that Tez is better than Summer Castoria is wrong. First they excel at different things, Tez with farming since he can fit into single core and multi core comps. However Summer Castoria is built for CQs and more challenging content in mind. Granted Summer Castoria can act as a mid wave clearer in a 90+ or maybe even a 90++ node. Another thing to keep in mind is what everyone has in their box. Most people should have or will get Summer Valkyrie’s from the event or evocation fest which means the arte looping assassin is filled. Granted Tez does it much better. On the other hand Summer Castoria is a ST berserker with only Vlad and Galatea. S.Castoria brings a lot more to the team and since Galatea and Vlad are permanent characters they can spook you but you could also never get them unless you pull for their banners/pick them on a ssr ticket. So everything depends on your box. If you need an AOE assassin/looper (you should have valk but…also more dedicated loopers are much better like SIbuki or Spishtar etc) or if you need a ST berserker. Everything I said is based on my assumption that you ment Summer Castoria and what I believe.

@@allanfaneshs16 Why is it wrong? Tez being useful in single core and multi core setups is what I would define universally useful servants. Though, I understand your point on Summer Valk but we can also use the same analogy for Kriemhild. Kriemhild destroys Summer Castoria.
@@vylon1075 You can use him in multicore but S. Castoria can also be used as CQ clearer and crit dps as well as midwave ST clearer as well as maybe solo but it depends. Also Kriemhild does not "destroy" castoria. From NP damage calculators with S.Castoria at NP 1 1k fou vs NP2 Kriemhild 1k fou no CE's Kreimhild can outdamge S.Castoria if both have their anti traits on their np active. However a NP2 S.Castoria is close to or even out damages a NP5 Kreimhild under the same conditions. Kriemhild also has a chaotic mod however there are only I think 18 servants who are both chaotic and dragon but S.Castoria also has damage mods against Divine and Chaotic which contains a larger pool of servents than Kreimhild.
You can define universally useful however you want but I think you should compare AOE with AOE and ST with ST. While you don't use ST as much as AOE, ST is becoming more prevalent in 90++ farming as well as more challenging endgame content.

The idea of a new player (not necessarily an ignorant new player) getting Draco early enough in the story amuses me. They will stream roll for quite some time. It reminds me of my best friend getting Castoria immediately upon starting FGO, not to mention her broken luck just getting better as she played as she got the Buster Meta Servants relatively easily too. She never felt challenged till fighting Fluffy in LB6. Lol
...Knowing her luck, she'll probably get Summer Castoria off a Ticket. 😅
