@coreyeg87 they are. I got a 21 gt 6 speed and my best 0-100mph is 10.1 seconds COMPLETELY STOCK. On the street with 255s all around it would do 13 flat in the quarter but ik I could've gotten better cuz even with 13 seconds in the 1/4 on the street,tires broke traction on launch and also sometimes into 3rd. They are ridiculously fast.

@@jackflash6377 right but back in the day 1st gear was like a 2.xx or maybe at best 3.xx ratio. The 10R80 first gear has a 4.69 gear ratio. The stock REAR end gears are a 3.15 with a possible factory upgrade of 3.55 at the max. Putting 4.09 gears in that car would be like putting 6.09 gears, if there is such a thing in a car back in the day. That's why I said DAMN!
For example. The effective 1st gear ratio on the car in the video at the time is 19.18. Putting 4.09 in a 4L60E would make the 1st gear effective ratio 12.51. Putting 4.09 in a TH350 and it would be 10.30. That's a GIANT difference. To get a 4l60e to have a 1st gear effective ratio like the car in the video it would need a 6.26 rear gear put in it. For a TH350 it would need a 7.61!!!!! If you put a 7.61 rear gear in a car I bet you would say DAMN too!! This of course is assuming same tire height for all transmissions and ratios but a 1" difference in tire height isn't going to change those figures very much.
Funny thing is that I just seen a video of an 800hp redeye running only 3 tenths quicker with the same trap speed lol. Here comes a naturally aspirated 5.0 nearly running the same times. Gotta love the new 5.0s
@@samsonreynolds3728 can't be worse than what the old 5 speeds were like with 4.10s or 4.30s lol. Theres 10 gears to play with on the 10r80 and the car comes with 3.73s already. It's not as big of a jump as 3.27s to 4.10
For the record to the guys making remarks about automatic car take no skill - you are probably the same guys who have not realized how good and how much fun the new Autos are ,they are essentially automated manuals minus a clutch pedal . Most of us were manual guys and realized you can no longer shift faster than or keep a manual in the power curve longer than an new auto without a pause in momentum not to mention loss of boost between shifts .So no matter what your skill level your not out shifting these cars and with now only 6 gears in a manual you now also have a wider spread between gears with a larger shift extension bringing the engine out further from its curve ..this is the reason for example a 465hp 10 speed 18 GT PP can run side by side with a 526 hp gt 350 that weighs less and revs 700rpm higher .. Ps don't give me i want to feel connected to my car crap either the new 10 speed can heel and toe better in the twists better than 90% of these so called road racing warriors that never been to a road course ..SO in a nut shell most of us new A10 owners or A8 hellcat owners were stick owners at one point that re not ignorant and realized that if you want to have fun be fast and on top you now need an A10/A8 car .

I’m gonna take my car to the track once I stiffen the rear and add either e85 with tune or just boost. I was giving the 10r80 props , it has a lot of mixed thoughts. Some people love it and some don’t.

@@ckgotbanned3851 it’s a mod from PBD tuner. It’s called some brake boost thing not totally sure but you can only get it from them I think. Revs to like 4K RPM then u hit the right paddle shifter and it goes and you don’t have to do anything else

Im still sportn a 347 with 4 speeds and 3.73 but after this time around redoing the car i think im going to trigger on a new direct injected yote to daily pound , and garage my pushrod.
Yes but its still running those times with no boost. This is what happens when you actually do well thought out mods to a drivetrain without just jumping right to "boost life" lol. Nothing wrong with boost either but from my personal experience from doing my car the wrong way, this guy has it mapped out.
Very impressive runs. I have a 19 gt pp1 also with the 10r80 and 3.55 gears. I currently have Steeda Ultimate stop the hop kit and k member bracing. Steeda progressive sport springs and pro active struts. Rear seat delete and carbon fiber hood. My cars not tuned at the moment. I wanted to see how quick I could get it going with putting on a diet and better suspension to make it hook better. What do you think my 1/4 would be with good DA and a good drag radial with the mods i listed above?
Just think if it had 4.56s and less weight. That 60 ft could be in the low 1.50s to high 1.40s. The little 5.0 could be running with (truly) stock demons NA.

@babayaga-five.0 whatever makes you guys feel better. Coyote only shines with boost. N/A e85 10 speed Coyotes are running what stickshift LS1 combos ran on 93 octane like 20 years ago. 4l60e cars and T56 cars. Just a fact.
Don't need low 60 foots to run mid 10's. There's a fbo NA 2019 I think, runs low 10.2's@136 mph with 1.7 60's. And with 3.31 gears. Launches via foot brake at around 3500, softly then plows down some serious motivation. I personally just don't see spending WAY over 12k to have an NA car running 10.5@130 simple 150 shot with good tune will do it. Cams are a waste on anything more than a SOHC 8v, these are DOHC 32v. Not going to make much power. Poor dollar for power ratio.
Mach1 is kool but it's just a parts bin car clad with body panel add-ons like a mid to late 80's Pontiac, is near 4000 lbs, is over rated like all performance Ford's by using 93/94 octane (all other manufacturers rate their performance vehicles using 89/91 octane) so the mustang 5.0 comparitvly speaking if one same playing field as all others is in the 445-447 hp range, not 460 hp and the Bullit sourced Mach 5.0 is really around 465 hp. Mustang also lacks TORQUE, a number that was higher than the hp in my 1992 5.0... 220-225 hp, 285 lb/ft tq. Torque is there for acceleration from a stop upto around 75 mph, after that, it's all hp. The fat heavy barge 2018+ mustangs need a good tune and 5 gal of high octane with very warmed up tires in cool sub-60° temps to run 0-60 mph in under 4.4 sec, let alone Ford's claimed but unbacked "under 4 sec" nonsense. The new 2019 A10 (10R90) yes 90, in the Cam SS is much more refined and efficient compared to the Mustang 10R80. Heck the SS A10 even has launch control. I bought a 2021 1SS A10 and it feels so much better than the Mustang. My first non mustang GT or 5.0 LX since 1985 and it's a rocket. I ran my buddy that bought my 2019 5.0 PP1 A,10, it had a basic tune on it for western 91 octane to bring it up to around 460-465 hp and my new SS gapped him by 6-8 ft each time to 60 mph. Even in rolls from 45 to 90 my new SS would put half scar on my old 2019 5.0. half a car is rear bumper of quicker car inline with middle of slower car. One car length is front bumper of slower car in line with rear bumper of quicker car.

Missed the drag pack as part of the mods. I don’t care what people say, they do make a difference even more so when really skinny tires are used on the front.
Well the performance enhancing mods were listed, except that. Can you tell me what else is a given? Suspension mods? Rear seat and passenger seat delete? Battery relocated to the rear? You see where I’m going with it? Nothing against Ken or the owner but people forget a lot of things when trying to make their accomplishments impressive or hide their true level of investments. Back in the day I had a truck with a built 429. It came with 4.11 gears. That thing pulled like a freight train. I've asked plenty of mustang owners why they don't go to a lower than 3.73 gear?? I mean with a high revving engine and a 10 speed gearbox it's just begging for some low gears. "Oh no, it doesn't need that since it's got such a low first" I call BS. Gears rule!! Go low and get out of the hole fast. Look at those stock coyote guys with factory sealed motors running low 10's

Don't need low 60 foots to run mid 10's. There's a fbo NA 2019 I think, runs low 10.2's@136 mph with 1.7 60's. And with 3.31 gears. Launches via foot brake at around 3500, softly then plows down some serious motivation. I personally just don't see spending WAY over 12k to have an NA car running 10.5@130 simple 150 shot with good tune will do it. Cams are a waste on anything more than a SOHC 8v, these are DOHC 32v. Not going to make much power. Poor dollar for power ratio.
Mach1 is kool but it's just a parts bin car clad with body panel add-ons like a mid to late 80's Pontiac, is near 4000 lbs, is over rated like all performance Ford's by using 93/94 octane (all other manufacturers rate their performance vehicles using 89/91 octane) so the mustang 5.0 comparitvly speaking if one same playing field as all others is in the 445-447 hp range, not 460 hp and the Bullit sourced Mach 5.0 is really around 465 hp. Mustang also lacks TORQUE, a number that was higher than the hp in my 1992 5.0... 220-225 hp, 285 lb/ft tq. Torque is there for acceleration from a stop upto around 75 mph, after that, it's all hp. The fat heavy barge 2018+ mustangs need a good tune and 5 gal of high octane with very warmed up tires in cool sub-60° temps to run 0-60 mph in under 4.4 sec, let alone Ford's claimed but unbacked "under 4 sec" nonsense. The new 2019 A10 (10R90) yes 90, in the Cam SS is much more refined and efficient compared to the Mustang 10R80. Heck the SS A10 even has launch control. I bought a 2021 1SS A10 and it feels so much better than the Mustang. My first non mustang GT or 5.0 LX since 1985 and it's a rocket. I ran my buddy that bought my 2019 5.0 PP1 A,10, it had a basic tune on it for western 91 octane to bring it up to around 460-465 hp and my new SS gapped him by 6-8 ft each time to 60 mph. Even in rolls from 45 to 90 my new SS would put half scar on my old 2019 5.0. half a car is rear bumper of quicker car inline with middle of slower car. One car length is front bumper of slower car in line with rear bumper of quicker car.
Too bad they have a big problem with knock and noise as stated by multiple owners, because it sounds pretty solid here

Well the performance enhancing mods were listed, except that. Can you tell me what else is a given? Suspension mods? Rear seat and passenger seat delete? Battery relocated to the rear? You see where I’m going with it? Nothing against Ken or the owner but people forget a lot of things when trying to make their accomplishments impressive or hide their true level of investments.
I’ve been into drag racing for about 23 years and I learned not to believe what people say because the truth always comes out. Transparency goes a long way.

Back in the day I had a truck with a built 429. It came with 4.11 gears. That thing pulled like a freight train.
I've asked plenty of mustang owners why they don't go to a lower than 3.73 gear??
