    So a squatter can change the locks and take over a house the owner lives in, but the owners cant change the locks to keep a squatter out.

    • @pamveeee
      @pamveeee 3 года назад

      @@Nirvanafairyyy I live in MA and I think it’s worth mentioning that here landlords/owners cannot engage or perform self-eviction procedures, but can evict squatters since squatters have little or no rights in comparison to landlords. You can easily evict someone with proper paperwork and small claims hearing in MA, of course if you aren’t evicting them for no reason.

      It's interesting. My best friend is having this issue with his sister living on their parents property. I live in Tx btw. The judge threw out the case saying it is wrong to kick them out or evict them even though they refuse to pay the rent that my friend's mom and dad put on them per month. I haven't been updated whether they left or not. Hence I'll ask on a good day.

      Jo ....rule for eviction is strict and if not followed in exact orders, she could sue them, * if they lock her out, or* physically put her out. The couple must do 3 things before seeing results. 1- give her a 3 days notice in writing. 2- repeat step 1 change 3 to 30 days notice. 3- file a law suit, your wait time to get a response from court regarding your court date can be from 2 weeks to 2 months or...... appearing in court with hopes...that your case will be favored?........I would definitely wish you well.

    Well, my mom had a nice care giver, she was amazing, and we fired her because we found a daycare, and she took it well, brought her family (she was from across the world) our city, and now she’s living happy somewhere with a good job and her family beside her.
    I mean I do live in Canada tho...

My son responded by taking a container of water and pouring it on his roommates TV while it was running thus destroying his TV. The roommate called the police but before the police got there my son went to the roommate s room and pissed all over his stuff and then fled. After the police left my son returned to his house. The roommate decided to move.

There is a woman living in Detroit that has to share with a squatter because she went on vacation and the squatter said they have rights to an "abandoned" house, she changed the locks and now lives there. And the owner lives there with her daughter.... And the law prohibited it by means of blue laws. Seriously....educate yourself.

    This whole situation is sooo messed up. Our laws in America are so freaking weird. Gosh makes me fearful to hire a nanny or ever help anyone out. I feel for the family. Hope things worked out for them.

    This is why you should never get personal with the help... Treat them like what they are which is an "employee"

    EXPLAIN. There is no explanation here. The family surely have a right to literally throw her out, she's trespassing.
