Aftercare and follow up after ANY surgery is critical part of getting well and back on your feet. Decision to go and get this surgery done abroad had changed this poor young woman's life forever. Terrible story.
I have a lot of weight to lose. If I'm successful, there will be a lot of excess skin. This used to terrify and revolt me. I am at a place in my life where I am prepared to live with it. Living with excess skin versus risky traumatic surgery? As I said, I'll live with the skin. I reckon I'll learn to love it too.
The girl is not very bright. Someone, preferably her mother, should have dissuaded her. Turkey gets a lot of bad press regarding these “cheap” surgeries so there’s no excuse for not doing some research beforehand.
Turkey is totally fine if you DO do the research. Look into your surgeons, make sure they have history, are board certified, talk to people who have had surgery through them, etc. There's a lot you can do to minimize the risks, and if it's too cheap/too good, obviously stay away, it's your body. Again, turkey is absolutely a fine choice. You can get botched anywhere, I guarantee that.
I had to learn to live with eye conditions provoked by the nhs. I had no eye conditions before I was referred to eye specialist in London. Am on soo many eye steroids, it’s destroying my vision and overall health.
You most likely had uveitis treated with steroids to prevent you from becoming blind then got a secondary cataract caused by steroids which is correctable with a cataract removal
That would take time and hard work, the girl wasn't that big either, it would've taken her 6 months of healthy diet and working out. But people go there for a quick fix.
Your focus in only turkeys cosmetic Sektor seems a bit prejudice and rassist. Please, then stay in your own country and get it done there. Its not turkeys problem that yoz cant afford a procedure and go for the cheapest option available. Everywhere where ppl try to get the cheapest procedures done theres a risk, how many women died in mexico or brazil while getting cheap bbls?! How many botched surgerys are done in the UK or Germany ? While you only focus on the bad things in turkey, which are Statisticly just minor, you dont see all the positive and successfull procedures. Or you dont want to.
Surgery in Turkey is the subject of the video. Just because this happens in other countries doesn't make it any less bad. And how are Turkish people a difference "rass?" You sound like an American Trump supporter.
Vitamin injections! I’ve had bariatric sleeve surgery and have awesome after care. I’m talking bariatric one a day multivitamin and following my protein and fluids goals. Vitamin injections have never been discussed or given to any other patient of bariatric surgery that I know of. Is this just a UK thing?
So do the NHS recoup the money to fix the bodge jobs Turkish hospitals cause ? After all they are offering budget procedures to attract customers.....only budget because they do a rubbish half job and walk away 🙄
They’re going over there for cheap and quick surgery. If they were to get the surgery done over here on nhs they would have to wait and if they went to a private surgeon over here it would cost them a heck of a lot more money!
No, they either didn't qualify or didn't want to wait. If you get sick, and I assume you live in Red State America, good luck paying the bills. And good luck having insurance at all when you are too old to work, after RFK Jr. has "gone wild on health care."
Interesting to see a man featured too, it definitely affects women more but men probably under-report. Good for him for raising awareness.

Aftercare is essential even after tattoos! It’s an awful mess.
Instead of criticizing these people let's Learn from their experience
We have seen it all before. Loads of people have died too and needed limbs amputated after.
They could have learned BEFORe their experience. There is lots of information out there.

my thoughts!
Exactly I told my parents I wanted to do Sonobello & they went off about the risks. & that’s noninvasive.

This lady with the red hair didnt look that big in her pre-op photo...
Yeah, slightly chubby, but certainly not big enough to require weight loss surgery. What was she even thinking?
If you don’t take these surgeries they wouldn’t be in these situations . Some of these “victims” need to take accountability .

@@leenaelias2011 I got uveitis through a mistake the surgeon made.
Yeah. I got talked into having a spinal tap. it took atleast 18 attempts which has damaged my nerves. love the NHS and its imported trainnees
@@leenaelias2011 no, I got uveitis because the surgeon used the wrong size implant.
@@riverdeep399 due to high intracranial pressure? Most likely to papiloedema they saw in the eyes did you find out what caused it
He could have bought a gym membership for much less and still afforded good-quality, healthy food to help him lose weight.
this!!!!!

I've always wondered about this. With the amount spent on surgery, they could afford an elite personal trainer for a year
Health funds need to recognise psychosocial issues and offer medical care when possible. Dental corrections should be included.
I don't understand why people are still going to Turkey for surgery. These problems are well-documented.
My question is: are the British taxpayers footing the bill for the consequences of these poor private decisions?
Knowing the NHS awful track record for pursuing anything I would be surprised if the UK tax payers was not footing the bill tbh 😕
Yes they are ! This has already been discussed ....but no decisions made yet !
Yes indeed, they are! And then they still want people to feel sorry for them.
Is she wheelchair-bound for life?

Cosmic reassignment is risky and often not even needed.
Nhs complication rate higher than Turkish surgery rates !

Skinny now though.. so stop moaning.
That’s the issue ‘aftercare’. Surgeons are actually brilliant.
Then it’s the NHS (tax payer) fixing the problem.
Turkey for major surgery.
It's a panic attack.
Stop being so vain. The body is a vessel.
She should have stopped shoveling food into her mouth, and she could have lost weight the way the majority of people do!!
That an awful thing to say !!!
She didn't put on weight due to over eating.
Avoid eating adana kebab.
I think she is exaggerating what happened!!
I thought your healthcare was top notch. Guess that free healthcare isn’t the best.
