      Yup, and who do you think directed the misconduct, misinformation? The corporate attorneys, just like big tobacco attorneys. When you see wrongdoing at a corporation, a university, etc, start from the top, specifically the office of legal counsel. They are the primary wrongdoers. I know, because I work in the legal arena.

    Please help all of us. J and J are again trying the Texas two step. My sole mate, mother of my three daughters, passed away from ovarian cancer due to her lifelong use of J and J baby powder. It has been 4 years this month, and still, I sit next to her ashes, unable to move forward with my life. I want to make it clear that this is not about money for me. I personally don't want a dime from the company that knowingly murdered my wife and thousands of others. What I'm asking from you is justices. This is the United States of America. How could this happen. I truly believe J and J plan is to continue this strategy until everyone who has been hurt by a product they knew caused cancer is no longer alive. Please help all of us.
    Thank you

    She didn’t live to resolve the lawsuit she was a part of. I hope for the sake of everyone who’s lost family to this insidious company, that Johnson & Johnson is ran into the ground. They’re still selling it like none of this is real, and it’s psychotic.

So it would just sit around. Then one day I came home to my son had gleefully bathed the entire sofa with baby powder.😅 My husband at the time was reading on another sofa unaware that our was bathing the sofa across from him with baby powder. The sofa smelled wonderful for a long time, but the incident encouraged me to never buy the baby powder again. And after watching this I am grateful.

    As a retired lactation counselor for the nutritional program, WIC, I saw hundreds of new mothers that would pour cups of this talc inside of their infant’s diapers. I told many it was unnecessary and potentially harmful but most listen more to their own mothers and that is usually who they said told them to do it in the first place. Listening to their non-breastfeeding mothers’ advice is usually what caused them problems with breastfeeding in the first place. 🤷

    It's crazy to find out about, especially when I'm not that old. I'm only 26 and in my family we had a lot of babies. My cousins and friends. JnJ products were THE products in the households when it came to children. I would have never been able to grasp such information when it was revealed as i was young. As an adult now, it's scary to think what danger these products potentially had.

    They should remove this product from the shelves worldwide. Even if it's safe, using the same (or look-alike) packaging is immoral and misleading. I have heard this story years ago and dont buy anything from J&J. There is no way you can trust them after this

    The report would be much better if they focused on the actual issue rather than the interview of the survivor.

    • @Rooted_Locs
      @Rooted_Locs Год назад +13

      So just talk about the “issue” without ever mentioning it’s effects. Makes sense!

    • @vivianblack2951
      @vivianblack2951 Год назад +17

      The survivor is the issue. It affects people. My sister who I christened the Baby Powder Queen died of ovarian cancer at 61. I couldn't stand the smell of it so I left the area when she was dusting herself. I used corn starch on my baby as I was a hippy back then. I agree that scientific research is more useful than anecdotal stories, but you will never convince me that talc didn't have anything to do with it. Women were encouraged to dust their pads with baby powder.

      That is there so you can empathise with a human being who has suffered and understand the human toll of these things instead of just looking at bare numbers and data. Maybe it's not for you but it helps people understand the issue and the damage done.

    What’s really sad is the claims that these inmates had no ability to understand what they were signing up for. Is Bloomberg suggesting that all the black convicts are of less than average intelligence? Is Bloomberg suggesting that these black convicts cannot learn beyond the most basic understanding of medicine?
    Or maybe Bloomberg is suggesting these black convicts simply cared more for money than their own physical safety?
    What is Bloomberg trying to say by only showing black convicts who were “victimized” by their choices to take part in paid medical studies……..???

    This is shocking! I am from Europe and never heard of women here using baby powder daily all over their body or genitals.
    When my children were babies in the 90s the use of powder wasn't common anymore. Instead we were using a protection cream if necessary. I just did a little research and found that baby powder products here in Austria do not contain talc.
    The greed and cold-bloodedness of these companies make me so angry!
