Don't we all deserve a friend like Joey
Everyone wants that . I say why don't we become Joey for someone🤔
Honestly. I am finishing the show with my girlfriend, Joey is probably the best of them. He's just a good guy, a womanizer and a bit slow, but loyal to a fault and always comes through for his friends.
So true. It sucks that friends like Joey are very rare in real life
@@300thNPCmaybe its because we all say we deserve a friend like joey but never ask ourselves, why dont we BECOME a friend like joey?
True. We should all be more a bit more Joey.
I think this scene is even better with the context that Chandler doesn’t cry.
Chandler was the funniest, but the love between him an Monica was so pure, thank you Matthew, for everything.
❤❤❤🥺
I know. I was surprised to find out the feelings never happened in real life as well since they seemed so raw on screen
Matthew Perry Revealed he Always been in Love with Courtney cox....!!! She is the One doesn't want or maybe the Timing was Wrong but it didn't work out, but they look great together, who knows if they been married he could have been alive today 😢
@@S_J_banana You can Google about the two love and feelings .
Apparently, his love to her was real. He was in love with courtney
And I can imagine all across America millions of voices crying out and cheering! One of the best proposals ever!
Many sure are crying today…
@@patricktsai2303 definitely are
😢❤😢❤😢😢😢😢🕊 🕊 🕊 🕊
The Best ❤❤
If you look closely at the start, you can see Joey's doing his 'soap opera' acting - just something subtle in the delivery and body language. Excellent performance by Matt LeBlanc.
Wow, I rewatched it and you are so right! Matt is a great actor 😂
I think Lisa is the only Friend that won an award. If I remember correctly the awards season were dominated by Frasier when Friends was on air.
Oh, wow! Now I'm going to go back and look for it! 😂
@@Duckiman Jennifer Aniston won for Leading Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2002 Emmys.
Easy to miss on a first watch, but obvious on rewatches.
It's criminal that Courtney never got any awards for her role. The way she was holding back her emotions was just amazing.
I know, right!? 👍😂

I can’t believe I just realized that the proposal took place in the exact same spot as Chandler’s fake “I’m sorry proposal.” That makes this scene even better. RIP Matthew, we love you. Thank you for all the great memories of Chandler and Mondler. You will be missed😢
Yes, Matthew will be missed 😢
Gorgeous proposal. So genuine and touching.
Genuinely scripted.
It breaks my heart everytime he says. "You make me happier than I ever thought I could be" like that means so much coming from him when you remember his horirble childhood and his shy nervous behaviour. To see him come up as a man and rise to the occasion as a husband
I can assure you, that May 18, 2000 year, almost all women of America were covering their mouths and holding their tears while watching this
My mom was one of them. What a moment in television history
You make me thrilled SERIOSULY NO KIDDING ❤️😆🤗
I am a man, I cried in May 2000 and I am still crying in July 2023. It is a scene that somehow connects with all of us, with our stories, those that were and those that could have been.
That’s my birthday 🥺 but i was born four years later tho
@aframathari2224 then u were born on the 5th anniversary
@@nickjaxon1317 actually on the 4th anniversary
Joey's best acting in the show
Best relationship construction in TV/movies ever. It was magical how each friend was part of the construction process. The smile of Joey at 0:49 is the cherry on top of the pie. Very well written!
I am literally crying while watching this. This has always been my favorite scene of Friends. Rest in peace Matthew. Thank you so much for the happiness you’ve brought to this world.
It's so sad to see my favourite Friends scene today. Thank you Matthew, for the laughs and the tears. Rest in Peace, my friend. 😔
One of the greatest moments of American television.
I’m glad Joey officiated the wedding, if he saved their relationship he gets to make it official.
Aww! Joey was a superhero. Bless him for being an amazing friend 😊
I love Courteney Cox's emotions in this scene!
Joey "Drake Remoray" Tribbiani wins the emmy for that "make it a surprise" performance in the hall! He had me convinced! Funny afterward, too! "Well, can we come in"? 😂
It's weird right? At this point he's acting, lying to his friend for the sake of the surprise, and DAMN I'd believe him in a heartbeat.
Lost count of how many times I have watch this episode and still cry every single time.
Same .. this episode 😭
Phoebe "This is wrong, Ross isn't here!"
Rachel "Oh, hell! He's done it three times. He knows what's it about!"
I'm dying over here!
My most favourite scene in all of Friends. In so many ways I can relate to Chandler and Friends helped me through so much when I was ill, and going through divorce. RIP to Matthew Perry hopefully you have found what your are looking for
Thank you Matthew Perry for developing so many people’s personalities
I never cried to any proposal videos or scene ever... But this scene.. Made me cry like a baby.. Im soo happy for them
Same it feels so real this scene 😭
This brings tears to my eyes. Never did I think I'd be hit so hard by the loss of someone I have never met or even seen. I wish he was still around. This has to be the best on screen couple ever. Wonder how it would have been if they were married in real life, just a thought. You'll always be missed Mathew Perry! Rest in peace!
"CAN WE CONE IN, WE'RE DYING OUT HERE!!!!!" Dame you Joey 😂😭
Chandler was the friend who showed the most growth over the series, and had the most poignant moments.
This is when chandler knew joeys acting classes paid off
That proposal was so heart touching & pure❤
The hugs between Joey & Chandler. After & Before ❤️
The show's greatest moment. RIP Matthew Perry.
Joey THE best man to Mondler🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Phoebe:Wait wait Ross isn’t here.
Rachel:oh he done it 3times he knows what its about.-> my favorite Rachel line.
Say what you will, but it was this moment that Chandler realised how good Joey is as a friend and an actor.
This was one of the best acting scenes between Monica and Chandler Wow!! 😢❤
I am gutted. So of course, I came here to cry...R.I.P Matthew Perry, may you rest in peace...💔🥺🙏
Never forget this episode about 23 years ago. Goodbye Chandler Bing 😪💔
Rest in Peace, Matthew Perry. 😔 thank you for both the funny parts and the beautiful moments like this ❤
Probably the best and most emotional proposal I've ever seen!
Joey is definitely a days of our lives star
0:46 in that moment he realised all those acting classes he paid for truly paid off
Gosh I still cant get through this scene without crying even though I've watched it 1000 times
Rest in peace Matthew Perry 😢...we Will miss you forever... Friend
“CAN WE COME IN YET, WE’RE DYING OUT HERE.”
This hits hard when you know what Matthew Perry was going thru personally
Matt perry and Courtney cox were robbed out of Emmys. Especially perry in particular 😢😢😢 rip
My favorite scene in all of FRIENDS! Chandler is my favorite of all. You will be missed, Matthew Perry.
Sameeee
It'd probably be extremely difficult for Cox to watch this scene now.
Yes, she is still dealing with grief 😔 ☹️
Apparently, the writers initially planned for both Chandler and Richard to propose to Monica, with it being a mystery over who she'd pick. However, they immediately realised that it was obvious that she'd ultimately choose Chandler, so the storyline was altered accordingly.
Thankfully they didn't, declaring love like that was interesting enough for someone like Richard
Proposing would be even more interesting
Just would be a bit wild for his character
Why would it have been obvious though? I mean she was really crazy about Richard too.
If Monica hooked up with Richard then the entire show would've been ruined
Sobbing at this, laughing and crying at this forever 🥹🤍🫶🏻
I'll always miss you Matthew, you became a real friend to me. RIP 😢
RIP Matthew Perry. Always a Friend.
I know there's a running joke throughout the series that Joey is a bad actor. But to do that and make it look believable, is really good acting 😂
Rest in Peace 🤍
My favourite scene from Friends...rest in peace Matthew💔
This was the most convincing performance by Joey 😂
Rest in peace, maestro.
This scene hits so differently now.....😢
This is why season 6 is well known!!!!
I remember proposing to my fiancé three months how nervous I was but both of us had happy tears when I asked her!🥰😍😘
I just love ❤️ how Chandler man’s up and does the proposal. Love how he matured through the relationship best tv couple ever
This was one of the most powerful moments on television. To think that he had screwed things up for good, and to have it all changed in a second...I legit lost it.
😥😥😥😥Chandler cried so real st the begin
Joey yelling “Yeah ya are!” Perfect.
Lol I loved that.. he channeled his inner Chandler 😄
I can't put into words this next one anyone like me who has watched Matthew Perry and Courtney Cox for over a decade The chemistry that Matthew Perry and Courtney Cox had on friends for over 10 years Monica Geller and Chandler bing have known each other since 1987 they had their ups and downs in the past they dated for over 3 years but when Chandler bing proposed to Monica Geller he meant every word of it after everything that Chandler bing has gone through his whole life since he was 9 years old a episode 13 years in the making
Courtney Cox is such a talented actress I mean that was so natural, wow for a moment I thought it was all happening in front of me in real life not like in a sitcom❤
Whenever I watch this part , I’m always moved to tears ❤
I don't know why this made me think what if Matthew Perry played Jack Dawson's role in Titanic.. I can literally imagine him taking promises from Rose being half drown in freezing cold ocean..
Can we acknowledge how method Matt LeBlanc was here?!!
Here Joey proves that he, in fact, can be a great actor.
Joey is a great actor after all. This scene proves that. He tricked Chandler and got them together. Truly, he is a great friend to Chandler and Monica.
Joey's acting class paid well
RIP Bing-a-Ling! 😭😭😢😢
U can feel the emotions between Monica and Chandler after everything that they went through in the past both of them have known each other since Chandler bing was a freshman in college in 1987 The biggest episode in the careers of both Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry at that time both of them have been acting since the The late 1970's and the early 1980's
This is an emotional side of Chandler bing that I haven't seen in years and he meant every word of it
Nice scene but damn this hurts to watch. All I've ever wanted was to find a connection like this with a woman like Chandler did but so far nothing. I'm about to be 32 and I'm not even anywhere close. I know it's a show and probably exaggerated but it really shouldn't be this hard to find a significant other that makes me feel this way and vice versa. I just hope that one day I can look back at this comment and smile because I finally found what I'm looking for.
Same.. but in my case it could partly be my fault as i don't even talk to men and when i do i am a bit rude. Past experiences have made me bitter.
@@asmanisa5267 Hey Joey here! Why dont you guys hook up??
Trust me, you'll find your love soon. Sending wishes and happiness ❤️🤗
I hope you really do find what you're looking for! Just don't stop believing..
Non-naive Trust, especially after betrayal, is courageous and necessary
My favorite proposal scene ever!!!
Joey really is a great actor
Joey's acting lessons finally paying off.
Joey's acting was perfect😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️😂❤️
Joey’s acting was finally good for once lol
Came here after hearing about Matthew Perry's death. It's a sad day. 😢
I cried while I was watching that scene
I cry every time I watch this. Every. TIME
😂😂😂
Live Long Mathew Perry
Joey deserves an Oscar for them acting skills
This episode now hits the hardest ... We will always remember him achieving his dreams via his character in Friends. I think in this scene Mathew Perry is the one who speaks, and not Chandler Bing. There we can see him genuinely happy forever.
RIP SIR, MATTHEW PERRY. I CAME HERE TO HAVE A GOOD CRY. AND IM A STRAIGHT MAN.
2:48 Joey 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rip Matthew 🤍
Joey at 2:48 always makes me howl
Why am I frkn crying lol
The most beautiful and touching scene in friends ❤❤❤❤❤🥲🥲🥲
My sister told me that this was the moment Chandler realized that Joey's acting classes were worth paying for.😊
i loved matt's acting in this scene. like, its acting a actor who tries to show it real but not real as joey usually is
Rip to Matthew 😢
RIP Matthew.....
Dude this is such an incredible show..easily my number 1 sitcom 😊😊😊✌️
Best marriage proposal ever 🥲❤
This hurts. Rest in peace Matthew
Why doesn't anyone talk about how poor ross miss this hug
