BTW for the twist braid! When I had long hair, Id twist it until near the bottom of my hair, and then split the two ropes into three and braid it like normal. It gives the sams result and stays all night/day.
I’ve been using the third method for a while, both with short and long hair, and it’s amazing! I’ve found that you get even better results if you twist each side closer to your middle part, like you’re doing Dutch braids. If you do them further apart, you get sections that don’t get curled, like on the crown of your head.

For the fourth, you have to brush it out. Those types of curlers are going to need to be arranged a certain way to get an even, desired curl. I use to do it for 50s style hair curls because it gives more volume and pulls the hair up more for a short effect.
*cries in naturally curly hair* honestly, I wish I had straight/wavy hair because it is way easier to manage and you can style it easily but i guess we all want what we don't have :\
Human that i am not going to assume gender same but u can try these and they actually work but if ur hakr is on the thicker side like me it would be a bit more puffy and have some extra volume but other than that they work on nature cruly hair so ya
I've tried various amounts of times to learn how to french braid my hair or anything other than a normal braid thingy and each time I just get annoyed and cant do it anyone else
items easy once you get the hang of it. if you have long straight hair it'll be easier, I learnt from RUclips when I was 7 or 8 and I tried to teach my mummy but she still can't 😹✌🏼🙈I've known how to do it for like 6 years
I’ve been using the third method for about 3-4 years all the time and it’s really comfortable, not as hard to do as Dutch braids and does give some nice curls!
For those of you wondering dtch braids add a lot more volume, and french add a little but not a ton. Also it works SOOO much better if you have wet or damp hair.
With some you don't have to brush the hair out but with a lot of them you actually have to brush out.... like you HAVE to or else it really is going to look like that...
for the last method (the curling rod one), you need to part the curls (Idk how to explain it) and that's why it looks so bad. But if you did, the curls would definitely be the tightest and have the most volume out of all the other methods.
For your hair is very hard to get nicely curls because you have short and straight hair but just use the pensil method it works sooo nicely and leave it over night search pensil curly hair and watch the tutorial it’s very nice trust me!❤️
I always take about 4 to 8 socks in sum, hold them lengthwise onto my head and wrap my hair around it like DNA strands. It's not too uncomfortable to sleep with and you have soft curls the next morning 😊 Edit: Just like Romy Morris
The last method used to work so good for me when I was a kid my mam would do it for me. The curls would be so intense but then drop after a while. Everyone’s different tho and I don’t have the skill for Dutch braids at all lol.
I always did these a night before during middle schools times because I never had a curler. I still do it! (P.S) Best to do with damp/slightly wet hair!
This is so satisfying to watch even if ur not interested in curling ur hair, like the way u explain and go through each method is so good.... Absolutely love ur videos ❤️
I’ve been curling my hair using the 3rd method for years when I still had long hair but I cut my hair shorter so I needed a different way to curl. Your hair looked so nice in the thumbnail so that’s why I clicked on this video, but it seems like I can’t escape the hair twist method!😅
For the third hair style, to avoid it untwisting just put it in a bun, it is a little bit uncomfortable to sleep it with it but it’s chill. The way I do it is to get the hair with the opposite hand (so if you want to put the left side in a bun you’re gonna use the right hand) and guide it to the back of my head and put it in a bun.
Yeaaaaaah, the technique with the rollers wasn’t brilliant, you’re also not supposed to put them in as tight as you did, that’s why it hurt....with those kind of curls you usually brush them out for vintage hairstyles unless you’re using the larger ones for beach waves
you should try doing it with socks! four socks if you have a middle parting two on each side. It's like a 3/5 for comfort but depending on what way you twist they can look really real like you curled your hair with a curling wand. :)
Maybe you should try the last one again, but when you take the "little tubes" of, brush your hair normally, it will be awesome! And also you could not push your hair too hard when putting the tubes on. 🤗❤
One thing about the first and third way, is it leaves the back of your head not wavy/curled. Because really only the front is being twisted and held together. Not the back.
Theres another way which is my absolute favorite and it is to divide your hair into four sections and twist them into a bun and tie them. Although they aren't very comfortable to sleep in, the curls are soo good
I recommend trying vintage style curl cream, it's incredible! My hair never holds a curl without it, and it's made so you can brush it out into vintage waves, so if you do modern curls you don't have to worry about them dropping when you brush them out. The 4th one with the rods looks uneven at the beginning, but you have to let it dry completely before taking the rods out and after you take them out and they are fully dried you need to separate them and let them sit for about 10 minutes so you won't have that really shrieked curl anymore.
