Omg thank you so much . I have added this into my daily routine and it has changed my life. I walk down the hall ways in my school and random people tell me how beautiful my hair is. From 2nd grade to 7th grade I only wore ponytails because I was not confident with wearing my hair down. My hair has always been to thick to curl with a straighter or curling iron... so thank you.
i did this before, when i took it out it was all frizzy, but when I braided it and waited the next morning it was really fluffy and soft and lasted the whole day w/o hairspray.
I didn’t expect this to work but when I took the socks out my hair was really curly. My hair is naturally straight so I got my hair wet before trying this so my hair would hold the curls better. If you struggled like me with twisting your hair around the sock like me then think of it like braiding the sock into your hair. Hope this helps!
I personally really enjoyed the video because it worked on my hair, I had to do 4 socks because my hair doesn’t curl well and I had to put a special conditioner that helps my hair hold curls without hurting it, this really helps my hair get healthier because I am not using and heat and I really did enjoy it!
You could try clipping it...if you sleep in it then make sure the clips are at the crown of your head, so you don't sleep on them. Side note: this is a very different method for sock curling than I'm familiar with. But a clip should work, it may leave a dent. However you could try using it to clip in place only for the "braiding" portion. Also, You can get similar curls by tying the sock ends together after wrapping the hair around the sock in a spiral motion...more hair = looser curl.

Bianca di Angelo you have to put a heat protectant even if you’re not using any heat before doing it because most heat protectants make the hair style last longer .I do that all the time 👌
Brendon is my religion use sea salt spray/cream I like pacifica seat salt waves, it’s for all hairs types and keep my hair pretty curly after keeping it in a twist bun! Put it in your kind of wet/dry hair then do this sock thing. It should last a few days. Don’t use not your mothers sea salt spray tho it makes your hair feel gross and will make u want to wash your hair

Belén Turiel spray your hair with water to make sure your hair is damped. The water helps with the curls lasting longer. And no it doesn’t matter if you have shorter hair. Leave it over night or for at least 5 hours
recommend if you having a real hard time holding that sock in place clip the sock to your head and first learn how to do the x cross. Once you’ve done that the rest should come naturally ❤❤
I have super straight long hair and I've been doing this every day. It doesn't stay very curly the whole day but it stays wavy and I prefer that over my very straight hair. I approve of this technique!

I didn’t expect this to work but when I took the socks out my hair was really curly. My hair is naturally straight so I got my hair wet before trying this so my hair would hold the curls better. There's another method of twisting and holding it together with the sock that gives more defined curls/waves than what you were able to achieve here.

for everyone that is struggling with the sock falling out try using pants instead of socks and then it's easier
