It’s not often that I hear a library and within the first 10 seconds of listening, say to myself ‘I *Will* have this!’ But in this case, it’s true.
I got it, and it’s an immediately playable and inspirational box of goodness.
The layers just blend together so nicely, and there’s been a huge amount of thought put into the sound design here. Amazing to hear, honestly.
As a blind person, this reminds me of painting. I don’t know why, but it just feels like painting.

can someone please explain what the difference between Kontakt and Komplete is? It's so confusing. They both have sample library, but one has "instruments"...which are samples.
@@gopolarisstudio Komplete is all the Native Instruments (the manufacturer) products under one Download or device. Kontakt is a sampler which is included in the Komplete product. Think of Komplete as a COMPLETE package of all things Native Instruments. It includes ALL of the plugins (compressors,EQs, FX)ALL of the synths (Massive,FM8,Absynth) and Kontakt (sampler) that includes Instrument libraries (strings, Brass section, etc)

Initially I was a bit reluctant as its marketed as a tool for film scoring. But I bought it anyways and MY GOD,... Was I surprised!. I can easily say its my best buy EVER!!. So inspiring that I think I can create a whole album using only this instrument. If you are into chillout, ambient, or minimal music , Grab a copy today. you just cant go wrong with this one.

Purchased this, by far the most quality plugin I’ve ever bought in three years of music production. God does this thing punch WAYYY above it’s price! It’s ridiculous. Highly suggest. It’s so beautiful.

Mirk Jerken It mixes three different sound layers you can choose. Sections are string orchestra, string ensemble, brass orchestra, brass ensemble, chamber strings, solo strings, woodworms, Vox, harps, waterphone, orchestrations, dulcimer, guitar ensemble, hang drum, mandolin ensemble, and tonal wood ensemble. Each category has on average about five different automations. For example the Vox category has “Vocal ensemble - Longs, Quiet Longs, Drops, Nanana”, and “Choir - Longs”. So there’s like over 100 different sounds and automations you can mix. Some layers have a lot in their category, like 15 choices. Some have just one. The swell of the instrument is absolutely stunning. If you have a mod wheel you can control how much mix gets into your main layer from the other ones, or you can create an automation for it. Every combination I pick sounds stunningly cinematic. I’m blown away with how great literally anything I make sounds. As someone who owns all metropolis ark 1 & 2, I feel like I’d need to spend an hour automating and combining multiple layers with mysteria or Elysion to get the sounds I can get from Arkhis. And those are all like $2000 combined. This is just easy and fun to use without sacrificing fidelity and is $150. Not to mention the built in effects arkhis offers. My whole life I’ve been paying $400-$850 for engines like this, I simply cannot believe it’s only $150. In terms of dollar spent to quality received, by far the best buy I’ve ever got for digital music creation. And no, I’m not paid by Native or Arkhis for this comment lol. Just an incredibly satisfied customer.

I've never been to much into samples in my entire life to be honest (I always crafted the sounds by myself on synthesizers but I have to abmit that these Native Instruments cinematic expansion packs for Kontakt sound really incredible and they are true highly inspirating instruments. I produce hitech/dark psytrance and expansions like this one is GOLD to me! Also Zero-G sells verygood cinematic drone instruments for Kontakt, absolutely brilliant stuff for psychedelic trance music.

Bought this yesterday, it is truly amazing. It reminded me slightly of another Orchestral Tools library called "Time Micro" (which I also love!) but with more control. The layering is so smooth and quite amazing honestly. It really is worth it, especially if you're into ambient/cinematic/textural music and if you're scoring to picture, it is a new must-have at least to me!

friend asked me to write some music for a animation project. I was flicking through Komplete Kontrol and after 10 minutes landed on a random preset which happened to be Arkhis. I just laid down 4 chords and repeated. filled with texture and tone I loaded up Stradivari Cello and then the Violin and within 5 minutes I had something....from nothing....incredible. Also really beautiful design. it looks expensive.
Can we get a date for when the arranger will be updated?
When will it be part of Komplete 12

What are the best electric guitar vst or libraries?
Been using it intensively for some days now, been through all the presets and currently starting to create sounds and it's just SO inspiring. It really takes producing to another level. The only thing I would really love with an updated version is a master volume knob for all three layers independent from Kontakt's "global" master volume fader, as saving a preset doesn't save the set volume of Kontakt's "global" master volume fader (or is there a way to do that so you don't have to meter again every time you reload a preset?), and this is very important (to me) when it comes to metering. Why? Maybe I've missed something but it seems you can't type in numbers to set the volume of the layers, so you have to use your mouse and drag each of the three faders individually. So when you've come up with a nice volume mix of your layers but your meter shows it's way too quiet/loud, you have to drag every single layer volume fader for exactly e.g. three steps, and that's been pretty exhausting, to be honest. If such a master volume knob is impossible to make, a function where you can select all three layers' volume faders at the same time would also do the trick. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS IMPRESSIVE PLUGIN!

@@MartinBergnerGuitar Not that I know of but I have never updated it as I'm finished creating sounds myself and didn't want to risk losing anything during the updating process, so maybe an updated version has improvements regarding my comment...

Shut up and take my Money! :) .. Made it about 5 mins before clicking buy now. Ever since my Maschine MK2 I love all of the N.I range, Native Access makes it so easy to mange installs/updates.

Morphing wheel could be much better if it works at 360 degree full cycle (fading out 2nd layer, then third and coming back to 1st layer only).
Anyway, it's cool instrument.

Bought this yesterday and it is absolutely glorious. Question though, how are you play notes with what appears to be two hands and adjusting the mode wheel at the same time?
You can run a second pass to record the mod wheel automation.

PLEASE bring a Patch so we can blend a smaller part - like first half from layer 1 to 2 and after that just layer 2 and 3. Would be a much better workflow when you dont need the first layer later in the performance.
Just purchased Arkhis yesterday and noticed something that I believe is a bug when you load the Brass Ensemble Long to a layer
Once you get to G natural above middle C and play up an octave the proper octave higher note does not sound but rather the same pitch. For example.. If I play the G natural above middle C and then play the G natural up one octave it sound the G natural above middle C again. i.e. Does not play the upper G natural note. This continues up the chromatic scale until you reach the G an octave above. Notes below the G above middle C play the correct octave notes.
I have the latest version of Kontakt. I used the NI S88 keyboard and Komplete Kontrol which I also up to date. I can recreate the issue with both the S88 and the virtual keyboard in the Kontakt player.
I do not know if any other articulations show the same issue as I have not played them all.

Interesting - this comes out just as Sample Logic releases Symphonic AI. Both sound great!
I know, right? I just bought Symphonic AI yesterday. Jeez. But I'm loving it already, played with it for hours and hours last night. SampleLogic always puts 4 cores in their VSTis so there is incredible flexibility. I also love to abuse the randomization feature that SampleLogic adds on all their libraries. But ARKHIS really sounds beautiful as well. Might have to pull the trigger. There goes my retirement account again, haha!
