    Very nice review and examples, thanks. I am debating the merits of Arkhis vs. Symphonic AI by Red Room Audio/Sample Logic, trying to determine how they are the same and different from each other.

    When I started making music, I had my guitar and me. Then later, when I started recording, I had my guitar and a Revox. I wrote Music for Violin, Cello, Flute and Piano. All was very easy to overlook, but needed huge skills in playing. Today, you need zero skills for playing (just holding one finger on the keyboard) but you need a genius brain for selecting the possibilities.

      We all have to learn how to adopt our talents to current days, I spend years practicing and playing drums, today I’m playing drums on midi controllers using my fingers instead sticks.

      I absolutely support your viewpoint on composition and conclusion . it’s possible to turn out ‘stuff” good stuff really good stuff with a bit of diligence and work by experimenting , holding down one key etc etc… but in my opinion a little bit of salt and pepper in relation to using, knowing music theory goes a long way, is enriching and ultimately productive…saves days,weeks months ,years of fucking about in the dark. Anyone interested in composition might care to take a day out of life getting a few essential basics under their belt…like how to change key ..be less boring ..and harmonising a melody it’s shit simple …an hour handles that then ,you are light years ahead of fumbling around . Think about this proposition as if out of randomness you had to send a really urgent message in French…that would require some knowledge of the French language senior to Bonjour or. une tasse de vin silver plata 🥳🥳🧘‍♂️ same with music . I’m not making anyone wrong here just passing on experienc, hopefully sound advice 🙏🙏🏿👏🎩👍🎶

      Years of playing experience eventually adds up as experience on how to use sounds to create emotions which is most important when composing music ... ❤

    Not that you need more gear but if you haven't played with a Haken Continuum yet you would probably really enjoy it. I recommend the 6x dsp because you can layer 3 presets. It is movie trailer gold.

    Great review and totally agree…this is a zero hype library…it is amazingly inspirational , it’s amazingly amazing 🥇 easily integrated into many genres , diverse integrates and even satisfies immensely as a standalone …top job developers …possibly a Mona Lisa , or even even better once I have experimented with it a little more , potential is there for granting of my much coveted Blade lunner award 🙏🏿🙏🎶👏🎩👍🦄

    The sounds are super unique and beautiful! Is this really only a specialized sound library, or could it also just be used for a traditional orchestral sample library?

    • @eylab1541
      @eylab1541 2 года назад

      You cannot really use this in place of a traditional library, unfortunately. There are no traditional articulations, except for some longs.

    I guess the only setback is that the rhythmic samples, like the plucked harps and mandolins for example, playback at unchangeable tempos, meaning you cant sync the sample plucking rates with a master tempo.

      The ARKHIS is loaded with amazing sounds and you can mix with you own sounds but to do this you will have to load brand new KONTAKT instrument and load you samples. ARKHIS in not allow load you own samples.
