Did you know that in Naples, Italy. the home of Pizza. The original pizza was fried and not baked in an oven. there are bakeries in Naples where you can still buy it now.
That's true, but original fried pizza in Naples is not an already baked pizza which is then covered in battered and deep fried; the dough is instead fried from fresh.

Hey, tipsy beans are fantastic, great vid guys, if that deep fried pizza was greasy the oil or beef dripping was not hot enough or needed changing as too old. Haggis is quite healthy as the offal which is liver, kidney and heart is a low fat meat and good for one as rich in iron, women take note if at that time of the month. I love all of those anyway and are underused cuts that are cheap, time we started eating more of a carcass again, not just the prime cuts. Stay safe guys. 💋💋👸🧔

Tipsy Beans are just... THE BEST. You should really create a separate channel for only tipsy adventures! 😂😂 As for battered things, we're in Texas, so we actually do quite a lot of deep fried things as well. In fact, every year at the state fair there's a competition for, I guess it's the most "interesting" deep fried food, but they're actually the most disgusting deep fried foods, in my opinion. THE most disgusting deep fried thing I've ever heard of was a deep fried stick of butter!!!
Well.. we might not have much else to do other than get tipsy with travel restrictions etc! It's inevitable! haha we MUST find a way to trick alex into trying a deep fried stick of butter.. i'm not sure he would do it willingly 😂

That haggis looks so goooood! The first time I ever visited Edinburgh was in Oct 2019 and I didn’t see the Haggis Box. I was having haggis for breakfast every morning at my hotel, but I definitely would have bought that neeps and tatties meal for lunch as well! (I’m not Scottish by the way, I’m English, but give me all the haggis and black pudding). 😂
Love the Haggis box, went there a few time while we visited last June from America. Also Blood pudding is excellent also and I can be a picky eater. Lol
I still jump when the 1 o'clock gun goes off and I been to war. Haggis neeps and tatties is great stodge food use to get off the bus at West End Edinburgh and have it with a couple pints before going to Gorgie for the football. As for alcohol in chip shop who hasn't left a nightclub with mate gone back to house for a few more drinks?? or not going out on Friday night staying in with fish n chips and a drink watching telly.
When Alex paused after taking the first bite of the pizza crunch I said Brilliant out loud. Then he repeats it... Emma looks like she's going to spit it out... too funny. It reminds me of when I had a fried twinkie in Vegas. Same result first bite the best thing ever and by the 3rd I was done.

I started by watching your entire NC500 trip, then went backwards and watched the USA van trip, and now I’m here and these videos just keep getting better. Go to a proper chippie in Edinburgh, not in the tourist areas. You wont find deep fried Mars bars, you might find fried pizza, but not battered (will still taste yuk though - though a few will disagree). All the deep fried weird stuff ( Mars bars etc is for the tourists). Not saying the chip shop is healthy, but it is fine if used as part of a varied diet, a treat if you like. Loved the video though.
Reminding me of my youth - You are both so charming and disgustingly irreverent; however I enjoy every minute of your vlogs. I remember full well having a few nights in Edinburgh stumbling about. Haggis is one of the nicest things I have ever eaten I love it! Haggis and chips with garlic butter is YUM!

You can have deep fried pizza also in Italy, Scottish people didn't Invent it, you can easily find fried pizza in Naples, it's a typical street food.
