Yes the silence is scientific. The snow absorbs the sound. I live in Minnesota yesterday there was a huge crash 100 yards away on the road 2 fire trucks 4 cops and 2 ambulance I assume came screaming up to it sirens going. Never heard a thing. I LOVE the silence of winter.
Welcome to New Mexico! You practically had all of New Mexico’s delicacies like the soapilla, all you need is biscochitos! I’m from Northern New Mexico in a small community called El Duende about 10 miles north of Chimáyo (pronounced “chee mai yo”)
I had my doubts because I am usually looking forward to your Europe travels but I must tell you that I am really loving your USA video series. It is so fun watching the two of you experiencing American food and places! I guess I take much that we have to offer for granted because I have always lived here, Texas specifically, but watching you two is like watching children unwrap gifts on Christmas day. Your reactions to each new experience are so full of delight! I have to confess that before a few years ago I never thought much about it snowing in the desert either. Then, the one and only time we made it to the Grand Canyon the weather ended up being similar to your snowy experience. It was beautiful but so overcast you couldn't even see most of the canyon! Pretty but a bit disappointing because it felt like someone had stolen the canyon! We definitely need to make a return trip... and maybe check out that Rio Grande Gorge you saw while we are heading west.
Beautiful vlog. Omg that restaurant your friends chose was amazingly gorgeous. Great friends, with exemplary taste. Loved hearing about the history of the church. Truly appreciate you brought Jesus into the Christmas type vlog.
Well hey there lovely couple. Josh and Ash ..you may know them. I saw you all together in the UK on their channel not long ago. And here I am. By the looks of it I may be sticking around! Snow in the desert ..yep it's surreal. Brilliant video, with fascinating info too
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year - from one of your subscribers in Alaska. I love watching your videos, you both seem so fun-loving (especially your tipsy beans vids). I'm glad you are enjoying this trip to my country, the good old USA. I'm looking forward to watching your upcoming show about spending Thanksgiving here & having the meal.
You guys got snow in freaking NEW MEXICO?! I am in Virginia and, just the other day, January 12th, it was 70 degrees F (21 C) here. I've not seen one dang snowflake this winter and I am annoyed! Grrr! :P I grew up in NY so I'm used to a good amount of snow each winter...

Lol, you’re pretty adorable pronouncing the food names. We lived in Albuquerque for 2 years and loved learning about the culture. ❤️
When returning to Santa Fe, be sure to visit Loretto Chapel. There's an amazing history about the chapels choir staircase. In fact, it's a miracle. 🙏

Green chili sauce is my absolute favorite!
You guys should've gone to lake Powell and rented jet ski's, and stopped at moab and saw the arches and the Bonneville salt flats

its the elevation!
1/2 a margarita and Alex is already blaming the elevation for being drunk 😂
Haha what a lightweight eh! 🤪
Come visit Aruba
If I went to live out there, I'd probably end up graveyard dead in no time from eating so much Mexican food.
