Hi. If you enjoy bird watching you would love to visit Wilcox, Arizona in the southeast during migration, spring or fall. And I would love to see the video since I cant go anywhere anymore.
I've been to Fredricksburg, Texas, which is this little "german" town. It was very touristy and underwhelming, especially considering the fact that I am german myself. But I didn't wasted much time and went to a nearby state park instead, which was awesome
You’re tugging at my heartstrings!!! Yes Alex!!!! Birds!!! Always!! We feed lots of wild birds and adore watching them. The blue bird you saw was a Blue Jay. We have a visiting heron ( like you saw) who fishes in our small pond. He’s funny and thinks if he stands behind a tree we can’t see him! Dummy has a 4 foot wing span!! Ha! I camped at Cachuma Lake as a kid in the 60’s. Do you remember the number of your campsite? We always tried to get B13 or B14. I dragged my husband to Solvang before we were married to give him the cheesy tour!! Had fun though! He’s from Europe and found it interesting. Hope you had a chance to go to Pea Soup Andersen’s!!! It’s vegetarian Emma!!!!! Thanks for a visit down memory lane-I grew up just south of where you traveled. Wishing you had loads more time in America!!! Continued safe travels!!
@4:19 if you love birds, then try out the Everglades in Florida. (I know, it's crowded, but hey...) My favorite bird is the great egret, a white bird of the heron-family, and related to pelicans. Biological. Or pink Spoonbills, Anhingas, that swim underwater and then spread their wings in the sun and let them dry
Catching up on your old videos... was on the Iowa River this morning, saw a red tail hawk, bald eagle, blue heron, and a crap ton of geese and ducks. Last year at one point we even had pelicans!
Too bad this is behind. You could have gone to Pinnacles National Park to see the Condors! But you got to see, eagles, turkey, and I think I saw a heron and a grebe.
you two crack me up. A lady next door has several Yurts for rent at out house in 29 Palms...Central location for day trip. Palm Springs, Death Valley, Joshua Tree. Coma Volcanic Dome..and more. 190 a night with everything provided...but food...
Alex is funny. Like his humor. Enjoying watching your travels. Always like hearing what Brits think of this country. You have seen many beautiful place. So many more to be seen. I’m sure others have recommended Yosemite. Maybe you have gone. I’m just catching up. I’ll check your other travels.
When I was visiting my brother in Seattle he took us to this town called Leavenworth kind of up it the mountains. It was a very German town with beer, sausages and German looking buildings. It also had the world largest Nutcracker museum. Lol
Lol that's basically our town but in the PNW. When I mentioned moving everyone said I should go there and I was like "I'm trying to escape the crappy tourist town, not trade one for another!"
America has some of the best sausages in the world, since we are mostly German. German-Americans are America's largest single ethnic group. You ate them in the video.
Previous month I managed to withdraw my first five figure paycheck ever!!! I've been working for this company on-line for two years now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the best thing about that is that I am not really that tech-savvy, they only asked for standard knowledge of internet and basic typing skill...Superb thing about this work is that now I have more time for my loved ones. I am able to dedicate quality time with my relatives and buddies and look after my babies and also going on family vacation together with them very routinely. Don't ignore this opportunity and try to respond fast. Let me show you what I do... *grab26.com*
Hey guys! I realized you were in CA last month and sorry I asked you guys to try out other parts of CA. Please remember me... I grew up in CA and lived here most of my life, but I’m also a traveler who can claim to have lived in 5 countries and traveled to nearly 20!
Aww too bad I was late. I love Solvang but food in the area is usually a miss. At least around the tourist areas. Had a couple of bad experiences there wherein the restaurant served us microwave food 😡 and charged us a hefty amount. But Solvang is lovely. Are you guys heading up north? You will enjoy San Francisco. Or if you’re heading all the way to Oregon, Crater Lake National Park is a can’t miss. It’s so beautiful.
You're likely eating at the wrong places. Avoid Chomp at all times. It's terrible. You want to do places like the landsby, figeroa mountain brewery, firestone, wine merchant, panino, root 246, petros, the gathering table, fitspatricks, solvang brew is ok, Paula's or Ellen's for breakfast, el rancho deli is pretty good and their coffee bar is the best in town, red barn, dos carlitos, sy kitchen, bakers table, sy burrito, the alisal river grill, morrells, the marriot has good food too, sideways inn has a great bar and nibbles, pizza shack. Theres a ton of good places
No, not all "American" sausage is for my taste ( one being the spicy variety) but I've had lots which are quite good enough. Respectfully you might be confusing hot dogs with sausages btw. That Danish weird ass town (lol) looked gorgeous, so quaint and cute. Yeah the US can make decent impressions of foreign towns . lol Looks like a painting @0:51 wow. You're taking the wild west by storm guys :)
As for amazing countries that have towns pretending to be other countries, try going to Argentina. In the province of Córdoba there is Villa General Belgrano. It's basically mini Germany/Bavaria in South America. It's really nice and has loads to do around it. As for BIRDS, go to Boise, Idaho and check out the Birds of Prey sanctuary. This dude'll love it.
@@betsyduane3461 A hot dog is NOT a sausage in the way this guy in the video is referring to it. We don't call a hot dog a sausage in the US. There are sausages--the kind of food he is referring to--and there are parts of the US where sausages are an important part of the local fare. But he is not in those places, and doesn't seem to be able to understand the difference.

i'm from the philippines! hope the van will bring you guys to Canada! google kelowna, banff and jasper to name a few of the places to see up here....cheers
I love your videos, you are sooo cute and awesome couple. 🤣 I would like to see a video, how do you prepare for the next travel, how do you eat all these crazy food and look fine in the next episode 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Fantastic job, guys. 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Curious if you're still in town(well nvm this was filmed last month lol). This has been my hometown since I was little. My parents were both born and raised in santa barbara. We are long time locals! I could've shown you where all the good places are! Lol so right about it being tacky though as far as the look of the place. Lol you went to the wrong place for "danish food" it's the Americanized version of danish food so your expectations were too high. That's like asking panda Express to be authentic chinese food. Those sausages are actually nice if you dont have a pretense of what they are "supposed" to taste like. But you should've ordered the pastrami there and avoided the beer and gotten a cocktail instead(solvang brews beers are not good). If you wanted something closer to home you could've gone to Fitzpatrick's for a Guinness.
Wow, Alex was extra Alexy in this one. Speaking of cities “pretending” to be other cities, there’s a German (?) Village in Washington that I’m dying to visit. It’s called Leavenworth. Also, SUPER PSYCHED to see Alex try to the McGriddle!

Pittsburgh has different cultural neighborhoods and it’s a pretty cool area to visit. It’s in the foothills of the Allegheny mountains 🏔
Florida is great for birds!
Absolutely loving you had to put a "sarcasm alert" on the video! Haha!

I'm so glad you finally found a proper sausage in the US. Hope it didn't taste like hot dog!
It shouldn't, given that in the US, hot dogs and sausages are two different things.
America has some of the best sausages in the world, since we are mostly German. German-Americans are America's largest single ethnic group.

You’ve got to visit Leavenworth, WA. Cool Bavarian town.
It's not as good since the lefse factory closed
@@JasonBrownafewmomentsl8er it's been a while since being there. But many fond memories.
Enjoying this! Reminds me of Leavenworth in Washington
If you find yourself in the US Midwest, the Alton/Godfrey, IL area is known for bird watching.
Awesome! Thanks! 👍
Must see are Yosemite and Carmel it's on your way to SF.
You should tour Hearst Castle and check out the elephant seal beach.
They just make me feel so hungry
Solvang is a lot of fun...
Cachuma has good bass fishing
Thank you guys for my entertaining evening!
Probably not this trip because it's quite a drive, but you've got to come back to America and go see Yellowstone and the surrounding area!
Always wanted to travel across America in a camper 😃 maybe my vlog will take me there one day 👍 great video guys! Inspiring 😊
