Size is relative. To me, living in the South in the suburbs, that's a really tiny room, even compared to the apartment I currently live in which has smaller rooms than my old house did. For people who live in larger cities or areas with smaller homes, it may not seem small.
it is quite small, it depends on the person! some people have huge bedrooms so that is small for them. some people have very small rooms and this is normal for them

The last couple of weeks of pregnancy you get breathy when speaking specially when you are talking for a bit cause of the pressure of the uterus on the rest of your organs and lack of room. I caught that right away cause that's how it was for me. Sorry that increased your feelings of anxiety. Women who have anxiety prior to giving birth...sometimes it gets a lot worse after the birth. I could sense anxiety from her and hope she gets help to manage it if she's struggling with that. We get these glamorous parts of pregnancy and not the real nitty gritty stuff. Such a beautiful video though.
Yeah, I personally wouldn't want to spend that much but hey some people can afford it and choose to. Nothing wrong with that and we hope once an item is used up and in good condition, can be donated or resold! That's what I hate, when I've seen barely used or UNUSED IN BOX WITH TAG expensive items especially baby items in the dumpster! In my neighborhood dumpster I've found: new unused $50 breast pump. New unused couple baby outfits $15 each. New unused $50 baby boots. 2 packs of unused new in package diapers. New unused $15 sleep sack. Blows my mind, there's a charity shop right down the street and babies can use that stuff!!!
Abbie Bennett I’m a fan of Craigslist but there’s some things I wouldn’t think of buying used for a baby - a crib and carseat for instance because of strict safety standards. Those are expensive items (and yes, they can be found cheaper than in this video but still pricey) but that’s 100% worth the cost for peace of mind, in my opinion.
I'm not pregnant and I still shed a few tears at the end when you were talking about how excited you were for her to arrive. The nursery turned out so great! Y'all are going to be awesome parents!
I literally brought my 1st & only baby home from er to my Dad's, we set up shop on the couch Literally felt shitty new mom bc I didn't have nursery,room ect But that spot brought us closer, gave me help and allowed my dad, my baby& I to spend precious time together!! My dad passed away unexpectedly when my baby was 8months So glad God knew what we needed
That's really sweet you got to spend bonding time with dad! Due to space but also closeness, our baby girl sleeps in our bedroom and has almost all her things there. When she gets older and moves around me, we hope to have a little playroom then bedroom for her.
Don't feel shitty because you don't have an extra room for a baby! A baby usually doesn't need one! Rooms are useful later for privacy and space but even then, sometimes we are in situations where bills and health come first before being able to afford an extra room !

Bolt the handmade dresser to the wall. They have safety tipping kits. Best advice for this room if you haven't done so. Scariest moment of my life when our low laying dresser changing table tipped. They will explore and climb. Do it while they are little so you dont need to worry later. Very cute space!

Love to see the what 'changed and was impractical' after video. The first obvious one to me was a bin that didn't have a lid and isn't placed right next to the change table! Unless of course her baby doesn't do explosive poos!
