Very true, you can charge with the Magic Keyboard! But many use third party cases so wanted to show how the hub can be used to charge as well. Plus, you can use the HDMI out for a preview monitor and ethernet connection for more stable internet.
The problem with the IPad/iOS app is it doesn’t record lossless quality audio. It degrades the sound quality a lot. It’s the same thing with the Mac app as I guess the Mac app was built upon on the iOS app. Please look into this as we really want to use ipad to record podcasts on the go. Thanks!
@@Riversidefm I can provide more contexts. The audio quality off the iOS app sounds like the noise reduction was turned on by default and the recording loses a lot of richness. Sounds really compressed without many details.
Yes, @Riversidefm I also am interested in your findings, or anyone else’s, re: this issue. Any option that doesn’t allow at least for recording and ouputting in 16/44 uncompressed WAV is a deal breaker . Thank you in advance.
Video is kind of confusing… how do you even know if the Rodecaster duo is link with your iPad ? Do you change the output and input to Rodecaster duo in settings ?
If you see the pop up in the Riverside app asking about external headphones, you'll know the app recognized the audio interface when plugged in. That's it!
