Oh man that's horrible. My child was just choking and i felt helpless. We got it out, but afterwards i realized i need to better educate myself so here i am.. Hope all is well God bless.
@@CrispyChips007 Every parent has watched a video or even taken a class. But as time goes by & b/c were not experts it helps to watch the video in real time, to be sure you get proper hand placement & counting correctly, and what to do next if thrusting is not working. In a panic such as that it's VERY easy to forget what to do next.
and that is exactly why you should be watching these videos every once in a while to brush up on the knowledge. cpr and choking methods should be learned by all parents.
Well at least he's still alive. A child just died recently from choking at school. And they didn't know how to get the food out. I think his parents would have hope for broken ribs than burying their 6 year old son.
I take that's below the ribs? I have a great fear this'll happen to my little girl and I won't it get right 😭 When she eats things I think are a choking hazard I tell her "chew it chew it chew it..", while nodding my head and making the chewing motion in between. I'm so scared of this happening 😫😰
Same! I watched another video on CPR & she said NOT to do the abdomen thrusts on children. I have a 3 year old (and 12 year old) & I’ve always had a fear of them choking. My husband’s CPR certified but I’m not, think I’m gonna take a class. Hope neither of us ever have to experience this but best to be prepared! Have a good one 😊❤
If this ever happens to your child (I hope it doesn't) remain calm, that's extremely important! Otherwise you won't be able to help her. I choked on a piece of steak when I was 7, it was so bad I couldn't even cough, I couldn't breath at all, I was going to lose consciousness very soon, and even though I was surrounded by pretty much all the adults of my family everyone panicked, especially my mom. However, my wonderful grandma remained calm and did the Heimlich maneuver on me; the piece of steak was huge (yeah, silly me took a big chunk of meat) and it was firmly lodged in my throat so it took my grandma almost a minute of doing the maneuver before I was able to expel it. She saved my life that night and it was only because she stayed calm and focused, the maneuver itself is not difficult, do it with all your strength; it hurts, but I prefer to have some bruises on my torso rather than choking to death.
@@KolorfulDreamsArtKdaWow I bet that was scary! I’m glad your grandma was able to stay calm & get the steak out! I agree though, staying calm is super important! Thanks for the tip 😊
Kudos to grandma! I choked on the white stringy part of an orange once at 11 yrs while I was alone after school watching cartoons. Very scary! I had to reach in and grab it. It was very long! Now I’m super careful when I give oranges to my kids.
Yesterday my family Went to a place and me and my sister started eating pizza and then when I has pizza in my mouth my sister made me. Laugh so I started chocking on a pizza bit. And I said in a high pitch I'm. Chocking and then my sister saved me
U are watching this video means u had or having some choking problem with ur child…I hope ur child is doing ok now. May Allah keep every child in his protection.
Ok, so there's teaching something and being helpful, but she should have corrected her posture to where she placed her fist. Sounded like she was giving cpr while doing the Heimlich maneuver
I pray that no one ever need to do this to their child. May God protect.
Amen.
Amen to that
Amen. 🙏
Amen! 🙏🏻
I love how @youtube will force you to watch an ad as your child chokes and you need to watch a video on how to keep them alive.
Would be cool to have a feature for emergency ad bypass

You should probably know this before they are choking to death..
refresh the video and the ad will disappear
Funny but not funny

Hopefully they're not scrolling down the comments while the child is choking but everyone should like your comment so it's up top :)
Very smart to ping the time. Thank you!
Should be illegal to have ads on these videos shame on RUclips
If you waited till your child is choking too learn how too stop it then shame on you 😂
@@CrispyChips007 I didn’t wait but that thought crossed my head lolz
Should be illegal to not be prepared and informed as a parent.....
Stop blaming others and do your due diligence before an event like this can occur.
Don't blame RUclips, it's the channel that chose to have ads in this video. The channel has the option to turn it off.

Best video ive seen. Straight to the point
Thank you for your information..
I had to do this today to my 17 month old daughter , ive never been more scared in my life
Commercial Ad on this has probably killed a few children … imagine waiting 15 seconds while your child suffocates ?!!!
If they are coughing they are NOT suffocating. If they are NOT coughing THEN there is a problem.
Just pay for premium…. Ad free… solved.

im here watching this video to be prepared incase it happens. why would you wait for it to happen to learn how??? its called PREpare
@RexyFan yes! so when your child is turning purple you can watch a video ad free!! brilliant.... or just watch it before and be PREpared!!!!
Take a shot for every time the reporter says absolutely 😂
Grow up
Very helpful

I own LIFE VAC in my home and cars. So simple. 💙

Dang, good job mom.
The Red Cross says that EVERYONE gets 5 back blows and 5 abdominal thrusts, regardless of who it is.
She forgot to say look inside first to make sure u can’t see it and do a sweep.
Please educate yourselves while you’re calm and keep your phones charged.
Serious question 🙋♂️ why not use a vacuum? Or one of those hand held vacuum with a small tip ?
Life Vac. Great invention!!!! 👍
There's already one called sunction device. Vacuum style device like, but cannot be used futher that 10 sec or it will suck the patient organs

Tax payers should supply each parent with one.

He doesn't speak, twinkle nor breath. And is very unresponsive.
