Myst - Cyan Logo Remastered

The Cyan Logo from Myst, remastered to HD, using the original keyboard for the music, and AI upscaling to make the video into HD!
This remaster comes to us, thanks to Python Blue. You may know his work from recreating songs from Terminator 1 and 2, to creating music for Amnesia mods! Recently, he got a Proteus MPS, the very same keyboard used to create the music heard in Myst! A while back before he had gotten the MPS, he did a recreation of the Cyan logo, which I asked if he could update, with the MPS in hand. He did, and, with his permission, I am sharing it here for you all to listen to! I've always quite liked the Cyan logo jingle, so to have a CD quality version of it now is fantastic. Seriously, thank you Python Blue, you rule.

For the video portion, I created that myself, using Cupscale, a GUI for ESRGAN. The video is sourced from the mobile version of Myst, with all frames being ran through a dejpeg model to remove the artifacts, and then upscaled using the Pixel Perfect V4 model, 4x the original resolution. The frames were then dejpeged again, after upscaling, to remove any chroma noise introduced after the upscaling process.
There was originally going to be some interpolation featured here, to make the video higher framerate, but it looked iffy on the water, so it was skipped here. Feel free to try interpolating it yourself, though!

Better than the official "remastered" version Cyan used for Obduction and RealMyst ME imo. The jingle just sounds wrong with a music box instead of the classic harpsicord-esque sound.

Yeah, afaik the music in earlier Cyan games including the logo was done by Robyn Miller, and the new logo debuted in RealMyst ME which he didn't actually have any involvement in making apart from resources pulled from the original version, since by that time he was working outside of the games industry (though he'd be back in time to contribute to Obduction).

I played through the quest version which is the version of the game that got me fully invested in the game, I tried playing through with many times before but could never get behind it until that version. And because of that I'm double dipping and getting the PC version of that remake, also just because it looks so freaking pretty.

Oh yeah, unfortunately on the question it just shows a static image of the cyan logo and then does a fade to Black transition to the unreal engine logo with the current rendition of the cyan jingle. And I wouldn't be surprised if that stays the same for the PC version
