I also notice that you do not provide a probable cause, ie fatigued contacts etc, potential ramifications if left unaddressed, nor offer a recommendation for repair.... just the findings. In your examples, you did not add a place on the report for current readings, millivolt drops between specific points or any other investigative data that might help pinpoint the potential issue. Would you be willing to expound on your reasons why you have chosen to only include the findings and not add other info, or share a real, finished report? With kindness always... TY!

I have noticed that you can't resize the spot meter which might not be ideal in every circumstance. When you click on "add measurement" you can use the rectangle option instead which is movable and resizable. This will give you smaller markers for the high and low temp inside the box. Once you've placed the box you can use the menu on the right to enable/disable the min/max/average/span measurements and indicators which gives you way more flexibility than the giant spot meter. Hope that helps!
Hey, I just tried Flir Studio starter. As I open thermal image, i don't see the toolbox on the top, where I could choose the spotmeter or another tool. Is it a limitation for starter version or something else?
Good question. The toolbars are dependent on context, so the image editing options (including the spot meter) are only visible when you're on the image details. Try opening an image from your FLIR camera inside a new report and then double-clicking directly the image. It'll zoom in and you should see the spot meter options. I believe the color pallet options are limited in the starter version but moving the spots/boxes/area meters is available.
@@testingtechtips I am using DJI mavic 3T. DJI has specific decoding of the thermal images and these images work only with DJI thermal analysis tool, but it's very basic. I tried to convert these images that they could be recognised by FLIR. I can open the thermal images with FLIR studio, but that's all... Can not make any measurements ;/
@@jonukasjonukas4288 I have the DJI Matrice 30T and tried to convert my images to use in FLIR Studio but had weird results with the website Aerial Thermal Imaging dot Com. They offer free converting forever but I'm not getting usable converts. People in the forums I'm part of said they use Thermo Converter dot Com. They offer a free trial for 20 images or 7 days (whichever comes first). After that it's $295/yr or $995 for a perpetual license. Why the heck can't DJI have a program that is as detailed as FLIR? They must have put their A Team on the drone stuff and their bench warmers on the software team.

As you mentioned before, Aerial Thermal Imaging converter doesn't work properly, it converts the DJI thermal images, but FLIR doesn't recognize it correctly anyway. Thermoconverter is working, but after spending 6k eur on the drone, I am not happy to buy some converter for 300 or 1000eur. It's bad that we have a monopoly on the drone market and there is no equivalent alternative.

When i add a spot the crosshair is enormous and not opaque at all. Any idea how to make it smaller and transparent.

Ah, the radiometric data may be encoded differently or not at all. Sorry to hear that, I have no experience with that.
