DeBacco is the best in depth but at the same time short format channel out there. It's incredible, the amount of valuable and not regurgitated info that comes out in a few minutes video. Hats off, hands down - the best!❤
I have learned more from Debacco University's YT page, than just about anything. No BS and easy to follow. I highly recommend Professor Matthew's page/videos!!
Oh man what epic collaboration!!!! Cant ask for a better way to start the day!! Fresh cup of coffee, smoke sesh. Brand new migro video! Absolutely can't beat it!
I am so glad I tuned in this morning. I learned that my PH meter needs to be in water at all times so the meter stays healthy. Need to know if my TDS meter needs the same treatment. This is a awesome channel, thanks guys.
I like to hear that advice right now. I was looking for amber trichomes and found some bugs. 1500 ladies bugs should arive tomorrow. Still, it would have been nice to have had a family trim session on Thanksgiving.
I grew 40+ yrs ago got robbed and I let that let the wind out of my sails. But now things are legal, the sky is the limit. I grow for myself for medical purposes. Peace out brothers and sisters.
I switched to coco with powder nutrients and a bit of bio action for indoor growing a few years ago. My top tip for today: make your own pH pen storage solution to extend the life of your pH pen. Buy a bottle of pH buffer solution to calibrate the pen (I use 7 pH) and mix some with potassium chloride (KCL) to make a storage solution.
Just to add to the same theme, I've seen videos on making PH 4 & 7, as well as storage solution, on the channel Science in Hydroponics. You can make your own PH 4 and PH 7 calibration solution using a total of 6-7 grams of Potassium Citrate and Citric acid combined, as well as EC 2 calibration solution using table salt and electrode storage solution made from potassium chloride. A pound of Potassium Citrate, Citric acid, Potassium Chloride & table salt is fairly inexpensive, should last ages on the shelf and be able to make a ton of calibration solution with the small few gram amount needed per 250ml of distilled water. You can freeze the homemade PH 4 & PH 7 solution in say pink & green colored ice cube trays and just remove a cube & thaw to room temp as needed.
@johnboykin3128 I've been convinced also however, how about 14 months ago I was walking around the mall in South Burlington Vermont that's right off the interstate I was walking my dogs letting him go to the bathroom. I don't know where that stuff came from but that's the closest I've seen in the last 20 years
If my personal experiences, folks that I learned how to grow from back in the early eighties and late 70s will not allow their favorite lines out anymore because Paul and chukars bottleneck a lot of good lines. If it's out there it's just with people that don't want to share it with the mainstream greedy cannabis elitist douchebags
I look at really really good lines that we had like Christmas tree buds skunk but they're really good Afghani and then as those lines progressed out of those you saw people pulling gorilla glue 4, girl scout cookies... Look at the lines now compared to what they were when they first came out. It's sad
ahh I miss the real skunk and xmas bud only came around once in while otherwise it was just the old nasty nasty brick weed but that skunk we treasured it youd have it in a bag in another bag inside another bag and everybody still knew you had that fire 🔥
Prof DeBacco - I wonder since the uptake of N is higher at 6.5 or so, but P and K is higher at 7.0. I’m an organic farmer, so wondering if I hit flower and tend towards 7.0 at that point of the grow cycle. What do you think? Thank to you and Sean for great education!
Whats up ? For the past 25 years I've been mixing my own nute solutions. What I mean by that is. I have a little bag of N, a little bag of P, K, calmag, silica, microbes and so on. This way I can give my plants what they need at certain stages of growth. Instead of force feeding my plants things they don't need at different stages of growth, like with bottled nutes. This made a huge difference in my grows. Plus I'm only spending a tenth of what I was spending on nutes. Anyway what I do is when I put my plants into 12/12. I kick up my P a little to my reg. Solution for 6 weeks. And what I mean by a little is, with the powder I use it only takes a eighth of a teaspoon. And then in the last 4 weeks of 12/12 I kick up my K a little bit. It's made a huge difference in how fat my buds get them last 4 weeks.
@@assog5737 Sounds similar to what I do but I use meals. I use a sprouted seed meal when I mix my soil up along with several cups of worm castings and kelp meal. About 3 weeks before I flip to flower, I add 1/4 cup of bone meal. 2 weeks into flower I add 1/2 cup of wood ash. My question was for the general audience, not me personally. ;)
That maybe limescale if your using unfiltered water in your humidifier. If you notice a white chalky substance on your tent walls, this is the limescale. Use a water filter b4 you top up your humidifier
Does anyone have an idea what is used to buffer potassium silicate when being in pure form or maybe diluted 1:1 with water? There are some products on the market but they only claim to have some kind of buffer in them, but specifically for potassium silicate I couldn't found one.
Boric acid , sorbitol and pure water using a mangetic stirrer and some potassium silicate ( Armor Si will make a 3% orthosilicic acid. You can make 2 gallons of Power Si with a few simple steps and thirds ingredients for the price of 1 qt of Armor Si. S savings of 175$
Can anyone link me to video with DeBacco working in an actual garden? I hate to be the guy but all his content i have watched is powerpoint with stock images that was full of errors. For example recommending something like pH5.2 for rockwool which I have never heard from another source!
Micros in proper quantities are part of a 20-10-20 soluble fertilizer and Calcium and Magnesium is part of ProMix as dolomite lime and also is sufficient in most municipal water.
just keep it around 6. 6.2 is also better and gives more uptake of some minerals. It depends on a broad range but most commercial growers keep it at 5.8 to 6.2, aka 6 like i said
ph mineral chart... one for hydro and one for soil.. it depends on if you want more calcium or nitrogen, etc... you wont see major difference between 6 or 6.2 also
Hydro pH increases over time. It doesn't remain exact. Basically it is something like pH down to 5.5 then wait a few days until it raises to about 6.5. Then add pH down to get it back to 5.5. Repeat. Different pH values are optimal for different nutrients and having pH drifting through this whole range is beneficial
BOKASHIEARTHWORKS ❤😊🎉 best nutrients ever it has everything BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT it does higher levels of NITROGEN for veg so use the COMPLEX humate and the K humate only don’t use the VEG aka the K humate has to high of nitrogen you grow more leaves 🍃 than buds

top 10 for sure... but not first hand proof like Jeremy at Buildasoil who has been on migro before or shane has been on buildAsoil
Absolutely!!!! Always to the point and no BS!!!!
Debacco and Bugbee, and you know everything you need to know! We live in an amazing time!!

Shane, the amount of knowledge you have passed through this channel is outstanding. Thanks for another episode and keep the good work!
Effin' awesome. 👍 Please have this guy back!
Mr. Debacco was my main source learning to grow. Great interview.
its the mad prof and the mad scientist
Awesome collaboration & information!!! Thank you both! ✌🏻
Great as always 👍
Happy Growing 💚
Whenever I see Debacco, i always learn something new. Great episode! 👍
Great video. I love the Professor's channel. Thank you both.
Great 😊 video loved 🥰 it gents thanks 😊
i love this collaboration with migro and debacco
Just did a jar test. Explains everything. Thank you.

Crazy how ill be learning about a specific topic and then shane will drop a video covering that topic the same day. Wild.
lets go! two of the most science backed channels together.
Loved this video,I’ve watched both you guys for last few years and going back to basics ,thanks Shane !

So happy to see brian get the props he deserves. One of best ppl to learn from. No bro science ever and you can tell he is smarter than the avg
Ned Schneebly meets the food critique from ratatouille ;). And in serious note, very educational video!!
I ❤ you guys, thx!!
Great video
Great educational content 👍🏾💯
Potassium is needed the most in flower 🌺
What did he say? It also guarantees burn.
Can we please bring back skunk plants
They are gone

So can I add general hydro gro/micro right after seed pops from my medium?
Smoked some Super Silver Haze last night. It was very old school and gave me real cotton mouth and a great ride
hell yeah, a classic.
What's your view on using Calcium Nitrate on buffering a grow medium like cocopeat? how does it perform compared to Calcium and Magnesium?
Considering the mulders chart, how does one supposed to balance nutrients?
So instead of using 2-8-4 for flowering we should be using 2-4-8?

Another banger!
Salt build up on leaf tips, answer is straight water for a period of time?

Not that. Msa silica, learn. silica always goes in the resovoir mix first

Interesting

How's the fishing going dude

Check his Student Series out. His students work in his garden.
@@Freedom_Born Ok thank you!

🤜🏾🤛🏼
I use tomato feed.
I am wondering about pH vs time. I note that N take up is great at 6.5, but P and K better at 7.0, so 6.5 at veg, 7.0 at bloom? PS - grow organic!
I've had good results, with a company who do a ph perfect line
ha.. you dont need all the AN bottles brother... 😅 only 2 are needed, but its mostly water with tiny bit of salts
20-10-20 soluble at 120ppm nitrogen concentration solution all the way start to finish in ProMix. Very simple
lol... thats only a third of needs
you forgot micros, and potassium and magnesium
Micros in proper quantities are part of a 20-10-20 soluble fertilizer and Calcium and Magnesium is part of ProMix as dolomite lime and also is sufficient in most municipal water.
This is like a collaboration with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.
Don’t pay any mind to veg or flower blends
Use a 5-12-26 and calcium nitrate
Jacks nutrients or Masterblend
You feed the same ratio seed to harvest.
❤🙏
Isn’t 5.8 better for hydro even 5.5 in dwc and aero

If you live in a bat cave, get the bat shovel to scoop up bat guano.

This guy chats 💩 phosphorus late flower is a must if you know you know
Phosphorus EARLY flower.
