rapid trigger is becoming the new standard for gaming keyboards, Razer, Steel Series, and Corsair are already trying to implement it. Logitech just seems to be trying to grab their fans money at this point.
Logitech is far behind. They literally shot themselves into the knee with not trying to keep up with the Wooting 60HE or including hot-swappable pcb's. Even RAZOR listened to the community and made it possible. Unlubbed stabilizers in 2023 should be mandatory!
@@framedthunder6436 there is no such thing as the best mouse. everyone has different tastes. the g pro is the most mid mouse in every aspect, which kind of makes it one of the best because after you get the g pro, you will know what you want more of. It isn't bad at anything, but it isn't exceptional either.
Seems like Logitech isn't focused on anything new, just wanting to refresh the G Pro product line. Which is a shame because I love Logitech's products, but the price point with minimal changes or improvements when compared to other keebs or mice really hurts these. I was thinking they'd push into the 60, 65, and 75% layouts at the least and do their own kind of optical switch at the most.
Yeah, a couple years ago I used to love logitech products and hate razer but nowadays razer just makes better enthusiast products. My current keyboard and mouse are already from razer because I didn't want to wait on logitech to update their products but seeing that they don't even try to match razer is kinda sad.
Agree, although I like logic for a long long time( g613 keyboard, gpw 2 mouse, pro x 1 and 2 earphone), but I chose ROG Azoth this time. I mean, no customizability, and not even selling blue tactile, how could this be possible for a “ gaming keyboard”.
This is basically a G915 TKL with normal keys instead of the low profile ones, the charging port updated to USB C, a case and a few cosmetical changes.
"do something" is definitely how these new versions make me feel, they didn't even have to innovate they just had to copy their competition and catch up
man i dont know what your doing wrong or talking about bro.. the first thing i did when i got my tkl keyboard is i plugged in the glorius coiled usb-c cable sitting on my desk that i use for my wooting 60he and i was able to use it immediately without the dongle.. as a matter for fact, at that point, i havent even pulled out the wireless dongle out of the box yet. u might either have a defect of some sort or you didnt go into ghub and sync it or something.
the last time i was on this channel there was no tattoos and the videos were much less quality so im shocked to see almost 300k subs and how youve come up. Amazing from when you first started and was on credit grnding for scraps of bread god damn lol. Cheers Techne!
TKL boards are insanely taxed in the enthusiast space, that's why the razer board was such a big win because it allows you to get your feet wet while also being a decent gaming board. This is a dissapointment in the wake of that

Not to the defend Logi, but this is probably them seeing internal data that shows your avrg Logi user doesnt care about hot-swap, lube, sound or feel of a click, or the wooting lvl performance Same goes for the mice, 4khz or sub 60 gram weight isnt something they care about Most people would probably still be happy with the OG Gpro from 2018 So with all that, they dont really care the " 1% " is calling them out on this refresh

I have a G715 and yeah they seem super similar. Trying to figure out what the differences are (haven't finished the vid). Only obvious thing so far is the space bar shape, lightspeed button, case included, lack of bottom RGB strip, case included, and different colors colors (the 715 white is all-white)
You're very negative about this keyboard and the critics that Logitech get is definitely deserved but this keyboard is not bad at all. As a matter of fact its really good. Not everyone needs it to be hot swappable. Most users dont even change their switches that much. The keyboard is solid. The thing is, its just not worth 200 bucks but if you have the money and you wanna stay on the Logitech look and feel which looks great then its not a waste at all

I had a metal volume wheel on a corsair keyboard I had years ago and loved how tactile the rolling volume was and wanting a spare keyboard, I was hoping to find one with a similar rolling volume.
Logitech has really missed the mark here, charging 200 euros for a keyboard without key switch actuation in 2023 makes no sense. While it might be gimmicky to some, its still useful to have. Also, why is the white edition not available in linear? it looks better than the black version.

I highly doubt that you can use this keyboard in wired mode the same way as with other Logitech products like MX Mechanical MINI keyboard or MX Anywhere 3S mouse.
Keyboard is decent but not much changes compared to wired version. Case is nice but I rather if they cut the price by 20-30 and sell it without case since most of people will never use it. Should be worth to buy on sale for about 120, current price is too high just for adding lightspeed and case for keyboard you can easy find for 80 or less.
This makes me kind of sad because my wife got this for me for Christmas because I like the g pro x so much. I immediately learned that there was no hotspot keys because she accidentally got me the clicky instead of the linear version so I was just going to swap over my keys from the g pro x

If it was $170 it might be worth it. I have an Azoth and was looking forward to this but doesn't seem like it really competes. I would try the Razer but hate their software so I'll stick with the Azoth and K65 Pro Mini for now... which grows on me daily with those optical switches even though I'm normally a blue guy.

I have to have iCue for fans, pumps and lighting so it’s always there meaning it would be great to find a Corsair I like. The mini pro is close but I often need quick access to F keys during the day.

Given the ROG Azoth and the Blackwidow v4 75%, this is a pathetic attempt by Logitech. For the price you can expect sound-dampening at the very least. Even Corsair has recently understood that. That said, every G Pro peripheral will sell like crazy, because of e-sport sponsorships and the well-known Logitech brand.

That's the same reason, why no one is selling u a mouse wih hotswap, or make it hard to open like any company. Like imagine u have double clicking on ur gpx, the warranty is out, so u would have to order new switches, which are expensive on places like amazon/ebay and then u want more reliable one, the next thing is the feet, you have to buy new ones, so in the end u pay like over 20 bucks and u need a sodering iron which not everyone owns, so why don't just buy the next new mouse :D

It's actually the only keyboard on the market with 2.4 GHz connection, TKL format and high profile keycaps (also PBT). There is no other board that offers all of those features. I'm looking for this combination of features for like forever, and somehow a gaming company is what is delivering it.

Ngl I really like this keyboard, however, I'd rather wait to see if Logitech releases a wired version of it. I don't need it to be wireless and it would be cheaper. I have been using an old G pro keyboard and want to get a new one, especially since this comes in white. Before this released I was set on the G713 but this one is a little bit smaller and I like how it looks more.
I just received the keyboard and I am able to use this keyboard while charging, the keyboard itself just needs to have the power switch turned on. They must have released new firmware or something because I have a USB-C cable connected from my PC to the keyboard so I am actively typing this comment while it charges.
i used to be a logitech fan, but bout 5 years ago (maybe even further back in time) many other companies really stepped up the quality while keeping the low cost. now we can get a similar mouse or keyboard with equal quality or even better for a third of the price. they really fell off imo.
I recently bought AOC GM530 mouse on sale for 14 euros with delivery. It has Pixart 3389,kailh switches (80M clicks),RGB...I didn't buy anything from Logitech in years
they need to make f510 gamepad remaster. g9x mouse remaster. g903 with usb c . g13 keyboard remaster. im writing this on g810 keyboard . problem si romer g is no longer made and i cannot find replacement keycaps for my country. also some other keyboards could use a remaster.
The late batch GPX (batch 2230 and later) also have heavy clicks, and they sound horrible too, very very loud. Have you tried Topre Realforce R2/R3 keyboards from Japan? their clicks & sound are very comfortable. best keyboards IMO, way better than G915, (don't buy the RGB version) Anyway, love your honest review, subbed your channel.
UPDATE: I have received a new board, and all is good. Works plugged in and wireless flawlessly. Must of got a dud first time.

My g915 tkl can use usb connection while plugged in and charged though it needs to be turned on... Kinda happy with my g915 tkl and gpx sl

I have been using an old G pro keyboard and want to get a new one, especially since this comes in white. Before this released I was set on the G713 but this one is a little bit smaller and I like how it looks more.
I have the G PRO blues red and their linear going to get this one next. Love my g713 but i need something more tiny

I just received the keyboard and I am able to use this keyboard while charging, the keyboard itself just needs to have the power switch turned on. They must have released new firmware or something because I have a USB-C cable connected from my PC to the keyboard so I am actively typing this comment while it charges.
Logitech aren't targeting real enthusiasts anymore
i used to be a logitech fan, but bout 5 years ago (maybe even further back in time) many other companies really stepped up the quality while keeping the low cost. now we can get a similar mouse or keyboard with equal quality or even better for a third of the price. they really fell off imo.
I recently bought AOC GM530 mouse on sale for 14 euros with delivery. It has Pixart 3389,kailh switches (80M clicks),RGB...I didn't buy anything from Logitech in years

they need to make f510 gamepad remaster. g9x mouse remaster. g903 with usb c . g13 keyboard remaster. im writing this on g810 keyboard . problem si romer g is no longer made and i cannot find replacement keycaps for my country. also some other keyboards could use a remaster.
The late batch GPX (batch 2230 and later) also have heavy clicks, and they sound horrible too, very very loud.
Have you tried Topre Realforce R2/R3 keyboards from Japan? their clicks & sound are very comfortable. best keyboards IMO, way better than G915, (don't buy the RGB version)

not being able to use it wired is a deal breaker for a 200 dollar keyboard.
Sounds like they want people to keep buying their old stuff and ignore the new items.
Still sounds rattly. Can't really beat the Azoth or the BW4
So many better options than this. Keyboard market is really competitive at the moment.
this keyboard look like refurbish of Logitech G 915 i hope they release logitech g pro x 2 hotswappable and wireless with wired compatibility
Still no usb passtrough 😑 for me it is a must.
