I don't care what anyone says, but the first boss sets the tone for the whole series, the music, all the corpses in the back, and a giant dude trying to kill you with a golden candlestick.
I'm playing it with penance of faith and the difference in damage is huge. You just breeze through those Amanecidas with the sword, half a bar each hit. I was looking for a strategy, but I guess I'll just have to suffer through it with my choice.
@@abrahamrangel2326sad to say but the only boss fights that are really cool of the original game (no dlc) were esdras and crisanta, maybe quirce but idk

Wait, what? I tought you could only face the amanecidas if you were on new game plus and had chosen one of the 3 special penitences
No, you just need the dlc and a new save file
You have to be on ng+ but you can do it without any penitence
How the heck did you kill escribar’s final form with just one combo?!
I'll asume cheat tool, then again I have yet to reach the true ending

The main game bosses are nowhere near Blasphemous 2 in terms of gameplay. Only the DLC bosses are
