One thing that wasn’t mentioned was the thousands of kokanee that were killed when they did the draw down. Kind of a weird way to promote fish health and abundance.

They didn’t report on the MASSIVE AMOUNTS of salmon and fish that were killed in the draw
Or the fact that lebanon was affected as well with bad water.

They didnt want to admit but the locals are getting sick and pets are dying or very sick. People have resulted to relying on bottled water and boiled water.

Several things weren't addressed. The Endangered Species Act required the Army Corps of Engineers to provide a Biological Study about fish passage. They did NOT do that, and they were sued because that wasn't supplied. The court came up with the only other solution to the fish passage problem, the drawdown. There have been other drawdowns on other river systems, and because the base was mostly bedrock, they didn't see the water conditions we are seeing. Drawdowns have a heavy effect here, both on populations of Kokanee (which they believe was only a large school positioned close to the outlet when they opened it), bird populations (they can't see to fish), hatchery fish are normally treated for a parasite this time of year and that treatment requires clear water, so they can't be treated at this time, and the human population (water supply was really bad here). There should be an impact statement sent and an injunction filed to stop the drawdown next year.
