    VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
    “where the forest meets the sea.” Full-time time tenants mostly occupy this community with a bundle of nightly rentals. There’s a community garden, a social cabin with entertainment systems, reading nooks, and a gorgeous fireplace on the property. If you are more into socializing outdoors, they provide a bbq area, a dog park, and even a greenhouse! For anyone looking to park their tiny home or possibly desiring to give tiny living a try, Tiny Tranquility provides a safe and comfortable environment for the next chapter.

      It looks pretty and nice now! But so did trailer parks in the 1920s. Within a few decades these tiny home parks will not look so nice or desirable. It’s just some clever business reusing an old concept with a new name and a bit of new engineering. But the basic concept is almost exactly the same.

    • @nightmary
      @nightmary Год назад +7

      @@classicalexpeditions5137 Everybody is entitled to their opinion. But I couldn't disagree with yours more. Certainly, there will be people who live in tiny homes who won't take care of their homes and the surrounding area very well. It would be idiotic of me to pretend otherwise. But the vast majority of the people attracted to the tiny house movement take great pride in their homes - they have chosen the lifestyle deliberately and have put a great deal of effort and thought into how their home is designed and how they want to live their lives. How many channels do you see of trailer park residents gushing over the place they live? I'm not saying there aren't people who are absolutely happy with where they are living. I know a number of people who have chosen to live in trailer parks. It's a solution that works for them. But tiny house living is a choice to live, not just in a certain dwelling, but as a distinct way of life. And that makes all the difference in the world. Full disclosure: I don't currently live in a tiny home, I live in an apartment. I don't have the resources right now to switch dwellings. But I love the tiny house movement and what it stands for. I've done an incredible amount of research, have designed 3 homes I would enjoy living in, and will live in some kind of tiny house in the future. It may not be my own. I would be happy beginning in someone's accessory dwelling or renting in a tiny house community. It isn't just the house for me either, it's the lifestyle and the movement.

      It looks like they have a manager who is curating a community and they aren't trying to fill hundreds of spots. I think that if someone didn't fit in they might not have their lease renewed. They appear to have a waiting list and from looking at other communities there is far more demand for spaces than there are spaces.

    I love the idea and homes, the added benefits and spaces, and the community feeling, however, I have seen others where the homes are not set up in rows like a mobile home park. I can see why the town had reservations at first. When the shrubs grow up, there will be more privacy, but we camp in state parks and not KOAs just for the privacy and remote feeling. However, the residents are happy, and the town is happy, so you can't ask for much more than that!

All around the hills bordering the river basin were ancient stone markers warning of prior Tsunamis that had occurred and their respective high water marks. This historical information was disregarded by those who built the Fukushima power plant. You know the rest of the story. That was a 70ft high Tsunami.

You need to worry much more about your state and federal government right now than we need to fear a Tsunami, lol. Tsunamis have done much less damage to the continental United States coast lines than BLM and illegal immigrants that are pouring over the southern border daily but then we have the tornadoes of the Midwest down Thru the South, or we have the hurricanes of the southern & eastern United States which destroy hundreds to thousands of homes and lives every season and then we have the wildfires of California, the upper NE & Colorado and other western states, all of which are causing billions of dollars in damage and death every single season which is of real concern over a Tsunami that has not hit the coast of the United States in decades. Hell, we probly have a much stronger chance of getting caught in an active volcano eruption again like the folks that perished in Mt. St. Helens long before we need to really worry or stress over a Tsunami, which is another act of God of which we have little to no control over which is why our scientists and other professionals work their tails off daily to help give us as much early notice to impending disasters so you have more than just a few minutes of warning to protect yourself and your home

      There are inherent risk with everything. Some greater or lesser. My perspective/planning is historically based and the plausibility of history being repeated. The U.S. west coast has a very significant history of Earthquakes and Tsunamis. My only point is know as much as possible about where you live. If you're willing to live with risk of a potential
      Earthquake or Tsunami. Then by all means live @ the water's edge. I choose to plan/prepare for plausible contingencies. Good luck and enjoy your life. Cheers.

Partial sun to sunny days is a bit less than half the year. The temps along the coast near Newport range from 40-65F year round with a few days that get into the 70s. I hope this info helps.

    I was wondering ? I have a nice place with a new gated area I just put in entry off hwy 32 West of Stockton Missouri area only 5 minutes from town and Stockton Missouri lake. It's surrounded by panoramic views. The lake offers bass tournaments , hiking, camping, hunting, fishing ect if I could open a tiny theme getaway for lovers.. like the Romeo and Juliet cabin.. the Tuscany cabin.. the Amityville cabin. Ect. And rent them nightly and or weekly... Build a small tiny wedding chapel.. for weddings honeymoons anniversaries and lovers getaway's ? Do anyone think it would work? Or is it just to risky.. I have all utilities already in place with new well water at 31 gallons per minute. I'd appreciate any feedback.

    It looks pretty and nice now! But so did trailer parks in the 1920s. Within a few decades these tiny home parks will not look so nice or desirable. It’s just some clever business reusing an old concept with a new name and a bit of new engineering. But the basic concept is almost exactly the same.
