But I think that community was build by experienced architects and social activists in a city that support radical ideas for more affordable living. The man in this video had to fight his way all the way through , really impressed what he has achieved.

I think this young man is successful because he is trying to help people that aren't wealthy, have a home. He's not price gouging, didn't pack the homes in like sardines in a can, and he is letting people have a little say in how they decorate their rental lots. He's done a great job and I know his renters are grateful to have such a beautiful place to call home. Now he needs to write a small book with all of his tips on "Fighting City Hall, County Regulations, and Winning!" He could e-publish himself and I would def buy one.

The fact that for hundreds of years people lived fine with smaller homes and raised families but now municipalities (with all the resource issues) force people to build homes larger than they need. There should be areas zoned for homes in the 300 -1500 square ft range. There is pent up demand for right-sized homes where you own the home and land. Sadly most developers to make massive profits and will price right-sized homes the same price as a 3,000 sq ft home.
