OMG YES Days of Abandon is one of my all time favorite records ever made, and this is one of my favorite bands of all time. I'm gonna miss them a lot, but their records are pure gifts to this world
You need to see the current line-up (please keep the 2017 tour players!). It's been a long time since I've seen a band this tight, especially when there is only one constant member. They love playing, do it well, and are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Kip is genuine in every way.
@@felipepanero4889 una pena ya no existen. En realidad era un proyecto del cantante y cada gira banda casi nueva. Al final a otros proyectos. Al menos nos quedarán muchos temazos
Okay, the problem with the live performance is that the instruments are louder and drown out the singer. However, I do like the music and I do agree the girl singer does not complement their music.
I've heard a few of this band's songs but I've been a lifelong fan of TheCure. The Just like heaven plagiarism is plain to hear. They also rip of a song by a British band called Lush. Unfortunately I'm drunk and don't remember the song. Google it.
the second song melody is a copy of Just like heaven by the Cure ; there first cd was a copy of strawberry and wine by My Bloody valentine , they know their classics but have no originality
dummytree Well I think they are guilty of pretty blatant plagiarism right across the latest album. They (or more likely he) hoped no one over 25 would be listening. Seems for now he was right and they are getting away with it
FoodepediaTV Yes, because current hipsters think they invented music. Just like when people who'd never listened to prog bragged about Radiohead being "groundbreaking".
I love how everyone is ripping on the girl when the lead vocals are horrendously hiding in plain sight. This is just bad. The pains of listening longer than 2 minutes.
It wasn't their best performance by far, but unfortunately people like you exist that just write off a band after a couple of off performances. And you have to eject your awful opinion online for others to see lol
This group is my first introduction to shoegaze, and, "belong," is easily one of my favorite albums ever

I think you have to try Jesus And Mary chain, shoegaze gods from the ninteies and also things like the Nightblooms,

My best friend showed me this band a while back. He died a few years ago as soon as he got out of jail and not long after having a kid. Miss that dude
After Peggy left, they were never the same again. :c
True :(
@@janinakumpflein6305 NOT TRUE

Always maintain my view that these guys are awesome live

One of them is fucking up the harmonies, either the bassist or keyboardist can't tell which.
The second song is almost Just like heaven
The same motif

Connor form the drums on the fretless
Peggy Wang sounds great to me!

It interpolates a couple Just Like Heaven vocal lines clearly. That's not a rip-off at all, hon. Get real and get sober...

And the Lightnings Seeds, I hear a lot of that in this band.
There's also a lot of Ride. And like many bands they deny their most obvious infuences, which always bugs me.

Wow that girl is terrible. Other than that, good set.
