I got to see them on November 28th 1994 in Oslo. Just mesmerizing. The Asphalt World is one of my favourite songs of all time. God like stuff!

was this the tour when the Manic Street Preachers opened for them?

It was indeed. Richey Edwards disappeared a few months later, Feb 1995. His last performance was opening for Suede in December 1994. I saw them Nov 28th, although I had little knowledge of MSP at the time.
