Brett anderson's smile...no words
Suede is the coolest band from the 90’s British rock scene.
Peerless
Are the coolest band and 90s. Otherwise a sound post.
yes!
Tem muita qualidade.Nao é ara todos.Dai nao serem tão comerciais. E,ainda bem.
Period.
Brett... that face... what a piece of art!
Never heard a bad version of 'My Dark Star', such a great song.
In 1995 I was 15 and fell in love with Brett Anderson of course only platonic :-) But I'm still in love. Longest relationship ever :-)
Oh, yeah, Brett is sexiest man in the world;) I love him about 12 years!
Same, I was 15 too in 1995 😍
Lilie Manson I was 15 in 95 also!! Lol loved Suede since seeing them on the Brit Awards early 93! 🙂
25 years later, the music & lyrics are timeless. : )
Waited 10 hours in the frigid Feb cold air for this. I was first in line I think, or second.
I was there too
Richard Oakes guitar strumming 🎸👌🏻
"My dark stark" so f*cking high!
Gosh, Brett is handsome & great singer. No wonder why My mom fancies him Even after all these years that she's Been a fan (Air conditioner) of Suede :D
I was 13 when I got into Suede, saw them live on the Brit Awards in 93(when they were breaking BIG) saw them live in early 95 on Richard Oakes first U.K. tour just after he replaced Bernard, gutted I caught them after his departure but was still a great gig & cool to have seen them in the earlier end of their time!!
Was a big fan! Newport Centre February 95..(I think) still got me ticket stub somewhere!! 🙂
I’m just some Mexican who hadn’t even born in 1995 yet I’m kinda kicking myself for not having been in this concert. Thanks for sharing it.
Beautiful. And so seemingly effortless. And now I want a Cachaca shirt...
My dark star is awesome)
Love how Mat's little bass flourishes keep cracking Brett up!
Viva a cachaça brasileira ,valeuuu Brett.SUEDE FOREVER.
achei q so eu tinha reparado
Wow love the whole session can't stop watching it how amazing live. Takes me back to my youth back in England all those years ago.
Will always be a fan he has one of the best voices around still.
Qué lindo video, me encanta ese Brett relajado, su voz impecable, su collarcito que dice SUEDE...y no hay palabras para describir esa sonrisa 😍
I was starting Uni that year when a friend of mine brought to my place the Dog Man Star Album I fall in love with it. till now one of my favs bands.
His Majesty's Voice. 😊
Absolutely wonderful! And a really precious video to be able to see here!
The smile... The singing...love Bret ❤️ love Suede
Thanks! One of his best live vocal performances I've seen! This is a special find :)
How the hell did Suede not reach mega star status in the US? Could it get any more melodic or credible? Unbelievable. The industry was too broken and focused on manufacturing acts and thus the true art did not get the support.
Plus the whole thing with that shitty lounge singer named Suede and having to switch to calling themselves The London Suede in the US right when they were starting to catch momentum. It was crap.
Music industry BS politics, limited airplay, and I guess, their image and lyrical content didn't appease enough of those marketing men who were probably more interested in milking the grunge scene.
From a fan's point of view, it was brilliant because it was easier to obtain concert tickets at more intimate venues than those of more established or much hyped acts. Similar situation with other British bands like James, Carter USM, Blur, Oasis (pre-Wonderwall) when trying to break the US market.
Saying that, the 90s was a brilliant decade in the alternative music scene.
@@dentheplodder Great take and I couldn't agree more with your points. Especially the lyrics might have been too risque for the American market (sadly).
The legal threats about their name didn't help. Had to be called 'London Suede,' in the US instead, which would have been really difficult for global marketing campaigns.
Unfortunately at that time Nirvana's Music and the so called Grunge rules in U.S
was allready 30 in 1995, songas a special place in my heart and will be there foverever, Ihope everything is OK with her, still the wild ones Doc. Kate
Great T-shirt, Brett (Brazilians will understand...) :)
Magic moment! 💜
That's a brilliant clip, cheers for this. Never seen it before. Shows what an awesome live band they are even when you put them on the spot. :)
Wow great sound. One of the better suede posts on youtube

Such a great moment !!! I wish i was there ! I love you SUEDE ! 💜💜💜
richard was still 18 in this video, but the charisma 👏
he is very good in playing the guitar
Suede's Dog Man Star and OK Computer by Radiohead the greatest of 90s albums and the best British bands of the past 30 years.
Sick as hell. This is what I needed. Made me smile.
i love My dark star
so pretty
they are just so good...:)
This was recorded by tape. Thanks for uploading!
Thank you so much for this video, what a treat! Fantastic.
His vocals get you straight from the first note
Brett is an amazing singer. Unique voice. And it is so even he is sitting on a chair..
He was injured in a fall from the stage at a previous concert, so was limping around with a walking cane and needng to sit to perform, poor sweetie! (Would have been totally spoiled of course)!!
Lol Brett kept asking for water during Heroine and finally got it during The Wild Ones
I think he was asking for Simon's bass to be heard, too.
Brett canta maravilhosamente e vai ser bonito assim...
wow! I had this on audio tape, and i had some pics, but i did have the video version
Brett still had such a great voice in 95...
wow thank you for this!
fantastic, thank you so much for uploading !!!

He is the one.
Thank you so much for uploading this.
Epic clip, thanks for sharing it :)
Linda voz .
I loved platonically Brett Anderson when I was thirteen and I love him even now, when I'm thirty-three. The longest relationship I've ever had :-) And of course the music is great :-)
Dog Man Star live!!! Thank you for up loading
This is great!
how precious..
Already ordered a concert DVD from and by Suede - thanks for the calming and loveable music. Daniela
+Anthony Carmody I agree- the 'Love and Poison' gig is the best concert film I've ever seen. It makes up part of the DVD in the 2CD+DVD reissue of the debut.
True gold
Possibly the greatest vocalist in a generation

So Melissa - did you see Suede in Toronto last night - they came back. Show was amazing - Brett has so much energy and gives his all.
wat een held!!!
damn good!!!
At the beginning of the video Brett was extremely annoyed by an umbrella that was on the stage 😂😂😂
I do enjoy that Richard turns just about all the songs into some sort of spaghetti western acoustic thing.
Oh, for real? U're so blessed. I envy you,
