Yes, I listened to the whole video and I am a mom of two (25 & 23). My daughter came 6 weeks early but was perfectly healthy. Congrats on baby Jack William, so adorable
I’m 26 years old and also just has my first baby on March 27. Named him Callen Robert Stacey. He will be 5 months old tomorrow. Time flies… soak up every moment and allow yourself to feel all the emotions. It’s still hard 5 months later but I promise it gets better and you’re not alone. Congrats on your sweet boy!💙
Girl, this reminds me of my birth story! The nurses ended up starting without the doctor because things were progressing fast! When you have more kids later it gets even faster because your body knows what it’s doing. Glad everyone is healthy! He is beautiful!
She. Will be a. Good. Mom. And. She. Is. The best mom. To. Her. Child. And. It’s so cute ❤ and. I’m. So. Happy ❤ and. Madison. You are the best mom to your child ever 🥺
Sending you the biggest hug, fellow mama!! Postpartum is no joke, thanks for being real and honest. I’m almost 9 months out and it’s such a journey. So happy you’re seeing the other side, and so happy to hear your positive birth story! Jack is perfect, and you are the best mom for him💕
Hi Maddie, I just wanted to say congratulations to you and Kyle on your beautiful baby boy! ♂💙 Thanks so much for sharing all this with just two and a half weeks post-partum. And thanks for being so honest and humble, and for keeping the realism of the post-partum phase. 🙏 Keep up the great work, as a mum and professional! 💕🙌 Cheers from Portugal 😘
Congratulations lady! Welcome to mommy hood! You are going to rock it. I have a 7 year old daughter, 6 year old son, and almost 3 year old son. It's the best!
Girl same. It isn’t realistic. And. I remembered feeling the EXACT same way. What you don’t see, is these people have help and support in a way that most don’t unfortunately. Thank you for your vulnerability and just being real and raw.
Congratulations! So glad to see you as a mama. Funny I had the same experience. I was exactly 37 weeks when my water broke suddenly as well. Never expected that either and thought it was only a movie thing. Especially since that was my first birth. Glad he’s here and healthy!
I am so excited for you! Been following your journey since you announced your pregnancy and I can’t wait for all the future vlogs with baby Jack 🥰 congratulations!!
My water broke at 39 weeks 5 days and it was just like the movies! Had to sit on a towel in the car and walk into the hospital with a towel between my legs. Was definitely shocking and so exciting!!
Watched throughout a few night feedings last night! I had my first baby on July 1!! Girl, it really does go so fast! He has changed so much so quickly! Soak it up and take it easy!! Seriously, enjoy your time. Productivity will return, but really soaking in this time is productive❤
Since you’re a new mama and you’re learning as you go. I just wanted to share this getting hiccups 10 times a day isn’t normal. And yes I am a NICU nurse so I’m not just saying that. His diaphragm sounds irritated which causes reflux and makes them uncomfortable. If his hiccups continue like this he will end up getting GERD. Which will suck. eating can irritate his diaphragm, the muscle at the base of their lungs. This can happen when he eats too fast or too much, gulps air while feeding, or has increased gas in their stomach. full belly can touch the diaphragm, causing spasms that trigger the nerves and make the diaphragm contract. The sudden contraction forces air into the vocal cords, which close quickly to make the hiccup sound. Some tips to decrease his hiccups. • feed him sitting in upright position, not laying him down or laying him flat in your arms and feeding him. • burp him more frequently. You should be burping him after every 2-3 ounces of milk. If you’re breastfeeding burp him when you switch breasts. • switch your bottles/nipples to slow feeding ones not all bottles nipples are the same at the store. • if you’re breastfeeding most likely food your eating is affecting him as well. If he has allot of gas broccoli and cauliflower can really affect their tummy’s. And tomato’s affect newborns a lot as well all through breastfeeding.
Yes, I watched till the end. Take all the time to snuggle him up! You never get it back. I feel like I blinked, and my son is 16 now! Congratulations mama! Welcome to the club!💙💙💙
Watched the whole video :) I’m due with my first baby on September 14th and I can only hope and pray to have such a joyous and smooth birth experience but no matter how it all goes down I’m confident it’ll be the best day of my life. Thank you for sharing your beautiful birth story ❤️ congratulations on your precious baby boy 🥰🩵
Love your story!!!!!❤ I am currently 25 weeks pregnant, and I cant wait to meet my little boy very soon!! Im hoping everything goes well like yours, and so happy for you! 🩵🩵🩵🩵
Grateful for you sharing your real & positive birth story! I’m due 8/29 so I’ve been following along with you for months. My little dude isn’t here yet but hopefully he will be soon!
He is perfect! ❤ I can totally relate to the post partum blur (and the blues and anxiety!). The hormone changes cause so many feelings. For me, it took around 3 months to start feeling like myself. You look so beautiful and you are doing an amazing job mama❤❤
Madison Congratulations on your sweet little Jack!!! I am so happy to see you be a mom to your sweet little guy! I can't wait to hear mom on how mom life is going and so much more!! Sending you much love and enjoy the snuggles!! Congrats again to you and Kyle!
congrats! my baby girl was born on August 1. she was due on July 24, and I had an induction scheduled for August 1, but my water broke on July 31 around 1:30am, and she was born spontaneously on August 1 at 2:55am. so she waited for the very last moment to come out on her own :) I like how our due dates were over a month apart, but we ended up having our babies only a few days apart! I also had a smooth labor & delivery experience, with an epidural, but mine was about 25 hrs from start to finish. and I've definitely had plenty of ups and downs these past few weeks as well. it's been so magical-- I've waited so long to be a mom (24 years old but have really, really wanted to be a mom since I was 17 but was waiting for the right situation). but also the sleep deprivation is no joke! excited to keep watching your videos as we go through this crazy, wonderful, amazing journey together 🥰 (also, I've been watching your vids since before you got pregnant-- didn't find you through baby content-- and it's just such a coincidence that we had our babies so close together!)
Congratulations! I’m 38 weeks this week. Can’t wait for my little boy to get here so soon. I feel like you felt he is super low/ pelvic pressure and my body feels like it’s wearing down and exhausted the past week or so. Hopefully that’s a good sign he will be here soon❤
Congratulations ❤🎉 thank you for sharing this beautiful story with us. So happy for you 😊 I'm in my second trimester, first-time pregnant, expecting a boy, and praying for a joyful birth as well 🙏
Yay!! Congratulations! Wow I watched your teaching videos since 2022 ❤❤❤ I’m so happy for you!!!! You are really inspiring. Thanks for this video, I’m still a college student and not a mom yet but it’s so nice and helpful to see this. Looking forward to the newborn vlogs!!
I watched the whole video. Congratulations on your new baby Jack is so cute. I love watching your channel and always gets excited when a new video of yours comes out. I have been watching your channel since you started teaching 2nd grade. I love watching your kindergarten vlogs too.
Awww congratulations you and you partner will do great he's beautiful you will do great mama such a lovely name I love it you and your family will be kept in prayers that you be perfect.
Thank you for sharing and congrats on your sweet boy Jack William :) I am currently 40 weeks pregnant and am super excited for the upcoming weeks and to experience birth, too.
Congratulations !!! I did stay to the end!!! My children are 30 and 21. So their birth stories are now a blur but my daughter was born a week before her due date and my son one day. He’s adorable!!
Congratulations!! My new baby is 2 mos old tomorrow! Soak it all in mama! You are glowing and he is adorable. Jack William, strong name with a traditional touch. I love it ❤
Mrs. Madison, congratulations on the birth of your first child. A baby boy was born safely. "Jack William" it's friendly name. After painstakingly giving birth to a child by cesarean section. So proud to hear this good news, maam. Not only me, but your husband, father and mother-in-law, brothers and sisters, even my mother's students at preschool, were also happy with her presence.
I find it so interesting I’ve seen either you have a hard pregnancy, labor or delivery. My pregnancy was awful labor was ok and postpartum was a dream. Our bodies go through so much, giver yourself grace
With my first baby went in at 4pm (4cm & fully thinned, was checked day before at ob appointment 1-2cm & 70%) and had her at 8:20pm at 35w4d. Original due date March 8th, born February 3rd. One week in NICU. 🩷 Our second baby went in for preterm labor at 32w4d (3cm & 70%) had ob appointment two days before no contractions or dilation with monitoring. Was able to stop labor and discharged at 33w. Went back in for uti symptoms at 35w4d (6-7cm & 80%), had him at 35w6d. Original due date August 19th, born July 21st. No NICU stay. 💙
Congrats on baby boy! He is perfect! I’m also expecting (due in Feb!) and currently working on my baby registry. Any recommendations on things you actually use for your newborn vs what you don’t?
Madison I'm a bit of a silent viewer but have been watching your videos forever. I just wanted to say continue to give yourself grace, you are doing so amazing and being a first time mom is literally the biggest change and so so challenging. I had a similar experience to you with my first daughter and with my second it was night and day difference postpartum. Just wanted to send you and your family lots of love and baby Jack is absolutely adorable! ps.. I am also a kindergarten teacher, in BC, Canada :)
My epidural was only working on one side at a time so I had to kept having to lay on different sides to try and make it go to both sides. By the time I gave birth it had almost completely wore off I felt it all 😅
