I never comment but this was SO REFRESHING to hear this side of social media and such an encouraging light and how this couple faces the challenges without fighting like everyone else. God is good

@@UnplannedPodcastjust put a noise gate on whoever’s mic track is making the noise. It wasnt loud so a gate could get it without taking any of his speaking or laughing. And being just on the one wouldn’t make the whole podcast sound gated/computerized. :) just my 2 cents.

But there was a strange buzz noise as well that's what tortured me. The mics should be about 6 - 8 inches away from the mouth. Uou have great mics and audio. He was just very close
Silent follower of Matt & Abby for years now, but I had to say how excited I was to see this colab. Never watched duck dynasty, but I randomly discovered Sadie’s podcast last week and love her content!
I’m sure it can feel intimidating to represent Christianity & Christ in a world that hates Christian’s, but please keep pursuing Christ centered guests! You don’t realize the blessing in this! ❤
My daughter had shoulder dystocia as well and my doctor wasn’t there just the nurses but thank the Lord they were able to deliver her and she only had a small fracture but is healthy and thriving now!
The same reason people loved Duck Dynasty was because they were loving and respectful is the same reason people started to like Matt & Abby. I hope you guys keep the vulnerable stuff private and continue to share your mountain top moments. 💗💗💗
Fellow shoulder dystocia momma here 🙋🏻♀️both my babies unfortunately had shoulder dystocias but thankfully I had a great team both times and both my babies just needed some oxygen!
It might seem crazy for someone to ask but I have heard that when born if you are short on oxygen, that is what makes someone left handed since majority of ppl are right handed. So are your kids left handed?
I also had shoulder dystocia with my son, they had to break his arm in order to get him out. Very traumatic experience but so thankful to God that he’s a alive and his arm healed after 3 weeks 🙏
The shoulder got stuck for my sister's birth too. My nephew got stuck, but was Gratefully okay and my sister was okay too. They are now great! It does happen and it is scary, but I'm so Glad everything turned out well for everyone! I am so Glad to see Sadie and Christian on the podcast! I love to see a woman and man of God glorifying God and spreading the Truth of His Word! God Bless y'all and Much Love! I Hope and Pray for many more fun days ahead of y'all and your children to Live for The Lord! :)
Am I the only person who thinks it was hilarious that after naming their daughter it was affirmed by pictures later… even said there are signs of names everywhere, then said that Honey JAMES looked like JIMMY Neutron! 😂😂😂😂😂 I so love these two couples!❤❤
She’s a public speaker, so it’s natural for her. He did defer a couple of times saying she tells things better. What I appreciate about Matt and Abby is that they’ll directly ask the quieter half of the couple some questions. It happened with Jinger and Jeremy and also with Kara and Nate.

I get the baby name thing. When I was pregnant with my oldest daughter everyone thought I was crazy because I named her Cheyenne. And her name absolutely fits her so well. She is now 21 and I couldn’t think of a better name for her. But in 2003 the name Cheyenne was not heard of.

Right on with not hearing anyone in the room but your husband during labor 😂 I know I was not responding either, but he was the best factor - Thankful for him and how he grounds our family in Christ ♥️🙏🏻

The recovery part sucks, but i knew going into it that the baby could only come out 2 different ways and either way was scary for me! You all are amazing!!! 😊

I loved Duck dynasty through middle school. Everyone used to ask if I was related to them because I have the same last name. I was always like “who knows. My family is so big I don’t even know everyone” 😂 I doubt it but I liked to joke about it

Just a friendly informational comment here. Ever since you guys got the studio I can hear like a whistling noise during all the episodes 😬 just not sure you are aware of it
I also had shoulder dystocia with my first, with apgar of 2. But she didn't break any bones and recovered quickly. She did have petechial hemorrhages which took weeks to resolve. It was still very scary. Second one I was induced earlier, didn't work, unplanned c section. 3rd- 8 just planned the c-section. It's never good when your midwife uses an expletive, asks where the doctor is (who unbeknownst to me she had asked to be present at delivery since my labor was so long, she suspected complications), and the room fills with people. Thankfully for me, not one single professional acted scared. Everyone was calm. My husband freaked out though. I was able to hold her after 20 minutes. I was offered a C-section for my 2nd but I wanted to try for natural labor again. But, I was an RN before my pregnancies so i knew what was going on all the time! Which is both good and bad.
I had the same feeling when they laid my baby girl on my chest. I did not feel the instant love and tears of joy. My epidural didn’t work so I had just been in such pain for so long I felt nothing but relief from the pain after she came out. Of course those feelings thankfully came pretty soon after but I was almost numb emotionally when she first came out!
I love when you have positive and encouraging guests on your podcast. I can so picture you having a podcast with Candace Cameron Bure (@candacecbure). She is a busy woman and also has a podcast.

When I was 19 I gave birth to my Daughter and it was also traumatic in a similar way. I remember pushing her out my doctor saying “oh she wore a little necklace to the party” meaning the cord was wrapped but not bad by any means and she let out a little cry and they put her on my chest immediately which was nice until it wasn’t.. I realized she wasn’t crying and turning more purple by the second and the next thing I know she’s ripped away from me and they start working on her, alarms are going off people were rushing in and there was about 20 people all around her working to get fluid out of her lungs. She had taken a deep breath before my last push and inhaled four large viles of fluid. She was sent to the NICU because her oxygen levels being lower then they liked. It was honestly horrible but she actually turns 6 tomorrow 🎉😊 my little miracle🙏🏻❤️

I have a 6 month old and I had shoulder dystocia with him and I didn’t realize how scary it actually was till after!😅 Thankfully my doctor has already informed me that next time I will have to do a C-section so at least I’ll be prepared! I watched y’all’s birth vlog before I got pregnant with mine and never expected the same thing to happen to me.🫣 Love y’all’s podcasts!!! Can’t wait for the next one!!🥳🎊🎉
Well...after this episode I just watched duck dynasty episodes for the first time... I'm really not the target audience...but they seem like wonderful and charming people.
It’s always funny to me how people get around hunting. You don’t want to know what they do to farm animals that sit on our grocery shelves when they butcher them…it’s much more humane to go out hunting…
Im so blessed ylyo have the mentors n familt like me. Im a recovering addict but without God...and support....it eould be impossible. Its the atmor of God that the arfare n temptation and Hollywood.....what a blessing

My daughter was a shoulder dystocia birth, she ended up with a brachial plexus injury due to it. It's so scary!
