great test ! I have te ultra 2 and a series 10 46mm. love both watches, but I think that the series 10 is the best for most people, the battery is decent and the fast charge make up for the smaller battery , charge way faster than the ultra
I just got my first Apple watch after many years of wanting one. I almost got the series 3 at release and the series 7 but it just never happened. Got the series 10 with the 46mm case and I was so surprised to see it perform almost as good as the Ultra 1 because the battery life was my biggest worry with this model. Now I am a lot happier that I picked the Series 10 because of it's much slimmer design and for the slightly larger display that supports a 1hz refresh rate. Sleep apnea tracking is also a nice feature to have.
I was under the impression the Ultra 1 and 2 were identical. Was the difference just from battery usage/age? I don't think it was annouced as a refresh, was it?
@@Ecktor series6-7-8 and ultra 1 has the exact same cpu. Ultra 2 was introduced with series 9, they have the new generation cpu. That is the main difference. Also i had the ultra 1 with watchos 9, and it has almost ultra 2 like battery life, what was destroyed by watchos 10.
I'm surprised how close the Ultra1 and Series 10 46mm battery life is and you only get 1.5x increase going to the Ultra2, not 2x - that makes the larger series 10 a pretty compelling option! - especially considering the Ultra2 is super slow to charge.
Whenever I walk with my wife her Apple watch records much less miles than my Samsung Galaxy watch Ultra. Could you do a video on the comparison on the GPS?
What a about the battery health? I am thinking about upgrading from series 7 to series 10 to have a batter battery life, it is worth it? Or should I get the ultra 2?
question for you I recently was speaking to AppleCare was a having an issue with my ultra 2 not adjusting the screen brightness at all from 100% to 50% after being on the phone with the representative they came to the conclusion that you have to shut off minimum brightness in order for the toggle to work from 100% to 50% to 25% wanted to ask you if this is how yours performed since you indicate it you turned yours down to 50% from 100% was overkill meaning 3000nits I disagreed with the representative meaning the toggle for brightness should work without shutting off minimum brightness. Was wondering if I could get your feedback thank you. Have a great day. Love all your videos.
Why does the Ultra 2 only have one complication on its watch face when all the other watches have 4? The ultra 2 is running fewer pixels and refreshing less information. They should all have the exact same watch face with the same complications.
I would recommend to those people who want to increase their battery life to turn off raise wrist to wake option and it does wonders. I used to think AOD is the top battery killer and I would keep aod disabled and turn on raise to wake. But as soon as I turned off raise to wake and switched on AOD I realised raise to wake cause more battery drain as it trigger every time your arm life no matter you want to see time or not snd consume power. Where as AOD might stay on all the time but consume less power dur to 1hrtz. With raise to wake on and aod off I would drain easily 20-25% battery with light use. But with AoD on and raise to wake off It only drained 11% in 6 hours. Usage was light only watching time and few notification that arrived and going for 1 hout walk where it counts steps on background (no the workout mode) But still atleast standby time increases and can create a huge improvement with same kind of usage but with better standby time. Note: my Aod is usually a watch face that does not have seconds hand ticking. But even with seconds hand ticking the improvment can be noticed easily.
Hello, can you please test also smart rings including galaxy ring? mine size 10 can go about 5-6 days max, i want to see the aura or other rings also, i dont like a smartwatct its just useless, i just want health data.
Galaxy ring has been proven to be one of the worst rings out there; it’s a $400 paper weight. For calling smartwatches useless, you just bought a useless ring, congrats.
@@BruceLeeRoy26 its definitely pricey, i bought it for €360 with promotion ,it just geeky health data but it works.. also its 3gram or something, you dont feel it like smartwatch do, i love seeing my stress level and heart rate data mostly, also sleeping tips are also positive on my opinion, the biggest change for me would be if they do the outer ring a mousepad if possible idk if it will be durable. What healt data would you like to add ? Or small oled curved oled display inside transparent idk xx
800 euros for some of these watches and I can't see the 800 euros, 400 would be more reasonable, maybe if it could take 5 days of battery life, so I really just see 200 euros here. Xiaomi over here pulling up with affordable watches that are way cheaper and perform the same.
Still daily my Series 0. Considering upgrading to the new Ultra 2 black. Kinda tired of looking at silver and feel I’ve gotten my money’s worth from the 0.
So the battery health percentage basically just shows how much the lithium ion battery has degraded over time, which unfortunately all lithium batteries do and is why there are so much waste of them. What companies like apple and samsung will do is if the “battery health” falls below 70-80% it will throttle the speed of the devices so that the battery lasts a but longer through the day!
In this test, he’s using clickers to keep the screens awake. The “always on” functionality uses significantly less power than a fully active screen, so it’s normal that you’re able to achieve those stats.
Apologies for re-uploading the updated version. There was one graph error I had to correct. This version should be perfect with zero errors.
Again - why you didnt put all tests in one graph?
Great video. Love those test. Must be a lot of work to do it. Well bdone

Nice! Still using Series 6 44mm and it's enough for me

Thanks for another great and informative video.
This is a great video!!
Wanted to ask if this was also done on the newer fast charging puck included with the S10 as they should be outputting a higher wattage for 80% in 30m
Good video mate.
well done. thanks a lot

What size is the SE2?
Was the battery health the same on all watches? 🤔

Huge upgrade from series 7 to series 10 in battery life at least

This Channel is the best who looking for Apple Watch comparison thx bro
Is it possible drain new battery down to 80% life in 90days. With flash light on 24/7.
In your shorts you are showing apple watch 10, 46 mm can only last for 18 hours here it's 21 hours. How 3 hours increased.
It’s the watch faces. The most effective one is the black one he had on this video. I watched it too.

Why not extreme test the battery life by turning on flashlight🔦? Screen wont turn off, watch will kill itself speedrun

I wonder if apple is purposely lessening the battery capacity as each watch gets older.
@@mikey48392 ever heard of battery degradation?

I don't understand, why are they lasting only a few hours? My pixel 3 goes way beyond a day when always on, and around 2.5 when on battery saver mode.
