My favorite places to buy knives:

And remember, have fun with you knives!
Man you don’t think that blade shape is good looking? My favorite blade shape of any knife for sure!
Congrats on your Benchmade Mini-Grip sir! I hope to get one soon to compare to other EDCs like Civivi, Hogue/Sig, and Spyderco.
I just bought one today as I wanted a smaller EDC blade. Most of my knives hover around 3.5". People complain about BM plastic handles feeling cheap, but I'm pretty impartial. I like the blade steel, I like the ergos, and this is a knife I feel like I can beat up without worrying about it. but I will say it's a little pricy for what you get, as I can get a Kizer with TI scales and s35vn blade steel for around $150.
I have the full size, it’s one of my best slicers! I have 4 BM’s, all perfect examples. Can’t complain at all, great edc knives👍
Thanks for sharing! I was pleasantly impressed with the Grip family for sure.
I love my mini grip. I plan on getting the full size in a few months.
The full size is pretty excellent too!
these are good knives. I got mine 2nd hand at lower cost $66 which is a good value to me.
Definitely a good value!
Hey man ive got a question, with the axis lock, when you open it, does it have a spring assisted feel to it?
@@ParsonWilkerson yes I’d say it feels similar but nowhere near as bad
I don't know if you're into aftermarket scales but Applied Weapons Tech makes some awsome aluminum scales for the mini-grips and full size. They also make some for the paramilitary 2 I believe. They run for about $70-80.
I do love me some aluminum scales! Might have to look into them, thanks.
The mini grip is great quality knife but I find the ergos are just weird...the handle is way too short and oddly shaped. Compare that with a Delica 4 which is an absolute pleasure to hold...I just don't think the mini grip offers good value for money.
I can see what you're saying there. It's odd to me that they just downsized the original Grip and didn't account for a substantial change in ergos.
As an individual with large hands I find the mini grip actually comfortable to hold.
I use a 3 finger grip, with my thumb resting on the spine.
But you can’t close the Delica with one hand 🖐🏼
Huh, I actually find the mini grip to be one of the most ergonomic small knives out there. I do have medium/smallish hands and can get all 4 fingers around it but I like it much more than say the bugout/mini bugout. I honestly never liked the look of the grip series and the full size always felt really cheap, but I handled the mini and the bugout side by side yesterday and walked away with the mini. It was cheaper, felt MUCH more solid and the bugout was too thin and just felt like a cheap toy imo. Especially since I could lightly squeeze the scales and they flexed pretty good. I liked the mini freek A LOT, but at 250$ that wasn't quite in the range I am willing to spend on a knife (I am a firm, knives are tools kinda guy). I also really liked the feel of the mini barrage but did not want the assist and did not want to futz with removing the assist. Also, while I think the modified sheeps foot blade on the mini looks like ass, it is awesomely functional, super slicey and I love that it has a spidey hole.
@@jakegwen2393 You absolutely can 🖐🏼
I have a full sized sheepsfoot. I love it. It looks likes a bird of prey.
I love my full size sheepsfoot! Got it a few months back and have since purchased a PM2, but I find myself going back to that Grip.
I snagged a discontinued 551154cm for 75$ last one in stock... gonna use and abuse it and when the blades nice and worn and I want an upgrade I’ll send it in for a new blade which will end up most likely being s30v and maybe get some custom scales and have a new knife lol. It being the last in stock it was not perfectly centered but it’s close and nothing is touching or anything like that.
Hey man ive got a question, with the axis lock, when you open it, does it have a spring assisted feel to it?
Yes, they do. It's a light pull though, not a hard pull at all.
