Just bought a used full, size like that with the drop point blade and I also got a full size in same color combo with the sheep's foot blade. Love them both! I want mini versions. I love the solid gray handle with the black blade too.
Finally found another 555 mini grip with serrated blade...I was dumb enough to sell mine and buy a 940...and then a Bugout. Missed my mini grip a lot. The other 2 are going on ebay, lol. I didn't get the OD green scales this time...but that is a cool color. I had an issued 4th ID full size grip and loved it too....but lost it long ago (I'm a 4th ID Vet)
Excellent EDC knife, but after a few small modifications it is perfect! I put a deep pocket clip, a little Loctite must be put on the pivot screw and I put a new edge on the blade. It arrived at 17 degrees, but because the factory grinds with machines, the heat destroys the metal, making it prone to damage. Now that I completely removed that metal and put a new edge (20 degrees), there is no micro chipping after I cut the cardboard and processed the wood and it stays sharp for a very long time. And I just maintain the edge with ceramic stone
Turn down the intro music, asides from that good video. Also on a side note IMO the bugout feels like a toy, handles so bendable feels fisher price IMO.
I'm with you. I hate how the bugout feels. I know it's a perfectly fine knife and will hold up in it's intended use, but it feels like cheap junk in the hand. I was far more impressed with the mini grip when I compared the two at the store today.
Yeah I have both the mini grip and the para3 lightweight. The para 3 LW feels bigger. Bigger handle, the wide leaf shape blade. I think technically they’re similar measurements but the para3 def feels bigger
I love this knife, I almost call it my baby but, shes bit me a couple times. I sill use it almost everyday..only thing is the clip needs to be tightened every once in a while. Sweet video by the way!
Thanks Jay! It really is a sweet little knife. For some reason it just doesnt fit my hand perfect, but that's just be being nit picky. Glad you're loving yours! Appreciate the comment!
What are you thoughts on this knife? Love it? Hate it? Kinda blah like me? Comment below!

Love how professional you were. Just maybe turn the background music down when you were speaking. Other than that you just earned a new subscriber !
LJG thank you very much! I appreciate the feedback! I’ve gotten that from a few folks so I’ll dial it down a bit. Much appreciated!
