"Wow" is pretty much all I can say. The mini Ritter is one knife I truly regret not getting when KnifeWorks was selling it. Thanks for sharing this impressive collection JT.
Great line-up. For me, hands down that carbon fiber Ritter just looks like it would be amazing in hand from just watching the vid. When get around to it I'll likely do the same with the Manix 2. It was a bit of a downer that the clear scales weren't put out there for real use...as I stated on IG, there's a chap that does a sort of plexi/transparent scales on Spyderco blades and it looks terrific. Cool showcase brother! See you on the next!
Very nice, JT. Thanks for sharing these with us! I'm lovin that new 555 with Flytaniun scales, and that Ritter Mini with GOAT Scales. He is a master, with those grip scales. That's for sure. I've gone to him, for some of mine as well. And, I learned something new! : - ) I never knew that M2HS Mini grip existed? Did they happen to make that one in the larger version as well? I do know about the M4 version (which was maybe large only?) I do remember a D2 version, made exclusively for Cabelas, but it had tan/brown scales. I can't remember if it was a large, or small? The only oval hole I can remember, was on the Benchmade 804HS AFCK-II M2HS High Speed Black G10 Large.
I'm not sure about the M2HS in the large version. But there is an M4 mini Ritter. And yeah, the D2 cabelas one had a different texture pattern on the scales, so I need one. It was large and small. Thanks for l the input, take care biddy!
It was purchased from the Benchmade custom shop, where they had a better variety of colors. There was a purple version released for a very short time, but that was years ago.
Funny, my first Benchmade was light blue mini grip with the sheepsfoot blade. Then the black mini grip with the regular blade. I called Benchmade and they sent out a couple of deep carry clips for free.
Dude.. killer collection. I just got a used 556-1 for 95 bucks! I want to give u a little advice man. If you're you're going to do videos that show your hands alot, you gotta stop bitin' them nails man! I did for years! I forced myself to need my nails (multi tools, knives) to stop. Love your content man
Just adjusting screws to make everything as balanced as possible. Sadly, it seems Benchmade doesn't (or didn't, for a long time) really prioritize centering when they make rhwyr knives, si a lot of their models have that issue. Sometimes it can be adjusted, but other times nope, it just is what it is.
The Mini Gritpilians do, and always have as far as I know. I believe the full size ones do as well but it's been a while since I had one. I cant imagine the liners being partial though.
Each mini grip has two screws on each side that hold in the liners. The other three screws (adding up to five) on the standard plastic scales are not visible on the show side. They screw in from the other side.
Love your mini griptillian family collection! The whole steel spread!!!
Do you think I'm the only one?
JT's Knife Life with this steel spread, yes indeed! Except Benchmade themselves!!
Wow! You have a bunch, and I thought I had a bunch with having 3 of them. The mini grip is just my absolute favorite daily
"Wow" is pretty much all I can say. The mini Ritter is one knife I truly regret not getting when KnifeWorks was selling it. Thanks for sharing this impressive collection JT.
Yeah, I remember them having it in stock once it was discontinued and i just didn't pull the trigger. Sheer lunacy lol.

I'm actually sort of surprised that nobody has come along and made clear scales again. It would make sense to do, that Manix is awesome
@@JTsKnifeLife yup, when that guy's books open up definitely sending him a blacked out standard issue Manix and see how it looks...
Terrific collection of mini Grips buddy! Congrats on reaching your goal!!
Much appreciated my friend!
One hecka of a collection....Love the goodness.....Good stuff.....
Thanks Scott!
Very cool mini grip collection JT!

JT...Gripped by the mini!!
My favorite two of yours: M4 w Deep Red scales; and Flytanium liner one!!
Thanks bud, I am really fond of that deep red colored scale!
very nice. love the clear one
That's a fun one. 👍
I lost my first benchmade when I moved...... just a simple 154cm mini grip that i bought used...
Wish i still had it!
Never too late to grab a new one!
Wow really awesome whole collections of Benchmade mini Griptilian knifes reviews you have!!! (:^D
Maybe one day I going to get one too In Blue !!! ^w^
@@JTsKnifeLife yes I hope so too!! ^w^
I have the D2 with olive green scales although I have done a scale upgrade to AWT scales. Great work beater. And it takes everything I throw at it.
That D2 is top notch, great knife!
Now you should get all the different blade shapes they come in
I just need a Tanto, and honestly I'm not really a fan hahaha.
@@JTsKnifeLife and some serrations lol
That Ritter with the CF was my favorite.
It would be hard to argue with you, those scales were so well done.
Great collection love the Mini Grip has been one of my favorites since the day I got it
I was the same. 👍
Very nice, JT. Thanks for sharing these with us!

Good stuff, very cool!
I really like that purple sheepsfoot is that a former model or aftermarket scales?
It was purchased from the Benchmade custom shop, where they had a better variety of colors. There was a purple version released for a very short time, but that was years ago.
Alarm went off randomly at 3am... no one can get back to sleep. Thank god i have this video
Funny, my first Benchmade was light blue mini grip with the sheepsfoot blade. Then the black mini grip with the regular blade. I called Benchmade and they sent out a couple of deep carry clips for free.
Nice of them to do that!
Love your collection. Personally own a 555 440c satin finish. Would loveto have the ritter mini. thanks, Harry
That 555 you have is a classic!

Hahaha I appreciate it. I'd love to stop biting my nails but my anxiety has other thoughts. Thanks for watching, and great deal you got on that 556-1!
Great collection 👍
Do u have any suggestions on getting the centering right on one of these?

I appreciate it man, thanks for watching!
@@JTsKnifeLife Always buddy!
Wish benchmade had the custom shop for more of there knives like the bugout and 940,freek etc great idea
I bet the Bugout will be there some day! 👍
I’ve always wanted a blue 556 mini griptilian but by the time I was able to find out about it they were already discontinued 😢
They pop up every now and then on ebay. Sometimes people sell just the scales as well.
@@JTsKnifeLifeok thanks
In future I getting (Case Medium Stockman Pocket knife with Black/White Carbon fiber) and (Case Trapper with Black/White Carbon fiber)
On BladeHq
Do griptilians now come with full steel liner inserts. Please confirm.
The Mini Gritpilians do, and always have as far as I know. I believe the full size ones do as well but it's been a while since I had one. I cant imagine the liners being partial though.
Thanks for the details.
Damm that’s a lot of grips
The mk1 gen 2 is one of the best grip ish knives out there also imo still love benchmade tho
I’m so confused about the mini grip. Sometime so see just 2 screws on the show side but sometimes it’s 5. (Not counting pivot)
What’s the difference?
Each mini grip has two screws on each side that hold in the liners. The other three screws (adding up to five) on the standard plastic scales are not visible on the show side. They screw in from the other side.
I just bought my first mini grip. Looks like I have a ways to go lol.
Only really need one, if you take care of it. A collection like this is absolutely unnecessary.
I'd buy one if it came with wood or metal handles in the thumb hole model
There are some titanium after market scales available.
I don’t even have one 😂
I saved for 6 months for my first one. It was worth the wait. 👍
