  • I this video, I plink around with the Desert Tech SRS A2. I've had this rifle for a few years now but it was previously chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I recently got the 6.5 RC conversion kit and I'm liking it! Especially with Ally Munitions 153 grain A-tip.

I'm really surprised his baby other gun channels talk about your 1 MOA challenge... That series is so popular, people who don't follow any RUclipsrs are taking about that challenge. You nailed it with that video idea. Will be a growth engine for your channel for years to come!!!

I agree. I first had to decide if I liked it, or thought it was going to take some getting used to. But it’s sick as heck. Like a futuristic, long-range precision rifle. I’ve been tempted to dip my toes into the long range world and his videos are making me feel like I could get started more easily, coming from a pistol shooting background. I dig the look or this bullpup.

My wife and I are loving the content. So much so that she's looking into her own 6.5 Creedmoor. I've got her shooting at 500 yards with her AR . After me bugging her about going to longer ranges and we watch your videos. I think it's finally going to happen.
We appreciate your time. Stay safe and God Bless.

You make me feel like I could get into long range shooting and have some fun with it. I’m a pistol shooter who likes to do monthly uspsa steel challenge matches at my “local” range (it’s 3 counties away as I’m in ca). I like to go fast and have never had any desire to shoot longer ranges, but the idea of making hits on 3-5 inch targets at distance kind of blows my mind. Your channel is to blame for my newfound desire to shoot longer ranges and to reach a little farther out. I have a pcc and I have an AR, but I’d like to get something like this to be able to grow with the gun. Thanks for all the lightweight, easy to watch, and fun and informative info about shooting long range. Thanks, man. Hope you’re loving living free, in Texas!!

Man that makes me so happy to read! That's been the mission for this content for sure, lowering the barrier of entry and showing some good ol' recreational shooting we're lucky enough to be able to do. Thanks for the support!

Wild to think I started watching your videos 3 years ago now, which is when I started collecting firearms. The favorites of my collection actually come from your suggestions in the past- a DT SRSa2 that has the same attachments as yours down to the mount (only mines the spuhr 30 MOA), an fnx45t, and an x95 tavor in 300blk- guns I'd been convinced to buy from your videos covering them in the past. This video is sort of like a reunion of the video that started me on my gun collecting adventures, good times indeed!

I really enjoy your videos especially the 1000 yard challenge. I have a question about muzzle brakes I installed a radial type brake on my bergara b14 hmr and my groups opened up from 3/4” to 2.5”. Is it normal that installing a brake can cause the groups to open up that much or is there a problem with the muzzle brake. I’m thinking about adding shims to see if that helps the barrel harmonics or should I ditch the brake. Any suggestions would be appreciated

No hate towards the Desert Tech....but Id run the MKMaching bullpup chassis.
Tyler makes a gorgeous bullpup with what I am told is the best trigger you can get in a bullpup. Also I like the look more. I dont like the grip of the Desert Tech

Wonder if anyone has played with an electronic trigger in a Bull Pup rifle. That's the only way I can think of to greatly improve the trigger. The linkage from trigger to the actual trigger pack is nearly invisible to get the feel of a traditional trigger package found in regular rifiles,...

Alright complete noobie when it comes to long range shooting here, I’ve been following this channel for a while now and I keep asking myself the same question, why is everyone chambering every rounds one by one instead of using the mags ?
Is it because of potential deformation when the round is fed from the mag and slammed in position ? I’m lost here ahah
