Hi, I bought mine with thick battery. It annoys me somehow. Can I replace the battery with the slimmer one?
Some seller says it's not compatible, some says it's compatible. Please, enlighten me.
The bigger battery gives you longer run time also helps with airflow and nice typing angle

Yes, it is compatible. I use the 24wh battery so that it sits flush with the body. Just be sure to get a quality battery as sometimes cheap ones wont register in the system. I recommend buying the 24wh from IFIXIT. The downside is obviously the battery life. (internal 24wh + external 24wh --- has given me 6-7 hours of use per charge)

@Hardwaremoney I recently bought a t480 in new condition, when it arrived in its original box it was a decked out i5 with touchscreen and pretty much every option, I was really lucky to find it

Just plain water and microfiber works so well and doesn't rub or scratch any surface.. I spray a few dabs of IPA on a wet microfiber to effectively remove oils/skin etc.
