yeah my t480 have issue that says the battery 2 is not real lenovo battery. when turning on and after i log in. i changed the internal battery (battery 2) a while ago since it was completely dead.

I was going to install a different heatsink (Noctua L9i) that needs its own mounting backplate, now I see the threads for the stock heatsink are mounted on the backplate... can you unscrew them or are they riveted in place?

I have some unanswered questions about this Fujitsu PC. 1) What is the maximum GPU card size that can fit in the case? Usually card size is measured in millimeters. 2) What is the maximum power consumption in Watts which the PC supports for the GPU? 3) Does the power supply offer additional cable for a stronger GPU, or is GPU slot only power available?

Even with the Vendetta I have with Fujitsu and small form factor PC's, I gotta say this is super cool. I honestly wish more companies would build they're pc's like that.

i have many rooster Thinkpad Series E430 (keyboard already replacement twice), X220, T440, X260 and P50 in my home (all of them was secondhand) they still work better than most of today budget laptop under 400 usd

Older Thinkpads are quite literally just built different. I still have my T420s and it runs 2024 Photoshop just fine 💜

Got my T480 for $90. It had the bad cpu and low ram, but a quick upgrade makes it a great daily driver.

I got one of these last month for £75 and it had a xeon 2680 v4,32gb ddr4 2400 ram,500gb ssd,2tb hdd and a 685w psu,put a rx 6600 xt in it and runs games like nothing at 1440p and 4k.

A lot of thinkpads after the T460 will have charge port failure (USB_C) very difficult to fix. My money went to a maxed out T460s..

Still the screen is TN which is very annoying especially in long use

Nice! -- QUESTION -- I ordered a used T480 with the FHD/1080P screen. However, they sent the one with a "touch" screen which is a feature I would never use. It is also FHD/1080p. My question is, I can return it and get the FHD without "touch". Do they both view the same or is the Touch screen worse quality? Please help. I must decide quickly and I think they intentionally stuck me with this screen.

Hi, so i am thinking about buying this laptop but iam not sure yet, because this the model and the video (great video tho was very informative for me) is kinda old. every other laptop in amazon has a bad processor (some celeron model lol) and are quite expensive for their specs (>300$), do you recrommend this laptop or are there some better options for a 350$ budget?

I got the t580 I found the perfect spec for my needs which will be 512 GBSSD 32 GB ram and an i7 processor. I paid less than $400 and hopefully I won’t need to go in it.😂
