Those Tony Bose Back Pockets are really a beautiful pattern. I had the the pleasure of meeting Tony back in the eights at a knife show. He was quite the gentleman and the only maker there producing traditional slip joint knives. The quality of his work was off the charts. Thanks for sharing and showing.
Thanks for viewing
Awesome looking knife. I like the lanyard
I’m not so sure about the lanyard, I think a custom para cord may be a video soon
@@JohnKlahr I'm a traditionalist
That is an absolutely beautiful knife. The Tony Bose Back Pocket is one I'd love to end up with some day!!
It took my a year to track this one down for a reasonable price, I got real lucky
@@JohnKlahr That's awesome! Congrats!
Stropping proper does not involve any abrasion. "Stropping paste" is an oxymoron.
A leather strop works by causing the microscopic serrations (which are present even on the most polished edge) to become realigned with the angles of the final edge bevel.
It can also be used to break the sharpening burr, without paste.
If you put an abrasive polishing compound onto a leather strop you have made a hone, for honing.
Like you I use a two sided strop with paste on the rough side, for knives.
It is inadvisable to put abrasive paste onto your straight razor strop as you risk thinning out the metal overmuch.
Use the rough side then the smooth, both untreated.
Thanks for these awesome videos. I think the lanyard will look great after a few years' pocket wear.
Wow I love it. Hard to find anything that looks better than that one
That is a freaking beauty John. Those are an awesome pattern, I've been scouting out a couple lately. It's definitely on my Case radar. Good video John.👍👍👍
Thank you, I’m a happy camper after locating this knife
Beautiful color, and great design. Appreciate the size comparison. Not aware it was that large. +1 for calling out the barehead design. I have a BH trapper and a TribalLock. Both just standout. 😊
I just don’t know if it’s bear head or bare head, I’ve seen it spelled both ways by Case. I assume they refer to the same thing, anyway, thanks for checking it out. I’m loving it
My only Tony Bose model is the Tribal Lock, very well made.
I don't prefer bareheads, always afraid the bone will break when dropped . Love bolsters.
Beautiful knife! I like the lanyard!
Knife is gorgeous! You have subscriber. 👍
Thanks, check out our giveaways and knife photo contests, will have new ones coming out beginning of the month
Dangit...Now I have to start liking Case again.

Hey John, I was wondering how did you get your sodbuster jr centered?
I’ll show a video soon
@@JohnKlahr awesome
It sure is a pretty color.. that's the crazy part.. those knives are almost too pretty to use
Almost, I’m probably going to get a slip for this one to keep the scratches off of it.
