If he isn't the greatest singer of all times, he is certainly one of the greatests. He said he used to listen to Mario Lanza when he was a kid. I guess this is why he was a rock'n'roll singer that could sing like a great tenor sometimes. And his voice is so deep and sweet. It's the most beautiful male voice.

I am blown away by what this man could do with his voice.
He could change it at will and play with it like an instrument.
He could go high, low, yodel, powerhouse out like an opera singer,
Croon like a country boy, growl like a caged tiger, sex it up with
raspiness, whisper sing like in Fever.
He was a master vocally. As a woman I would be satisfied just to
look at him had he been mute. 😊

In my opinion the greatest singer of all time
He could sing anything and make it great... I agree with you he is the greatest and in many different genres he has a range and sound and ability to pull you in with emotions and feelings of what he sings... I Love so many of his songs and this one is a favorite too... I feel he could take even another artists song and make it better because he not only gave it his all but had true feeling when he sings it... I wish he could have lived a lot longer and wish he did not have to die in such a terrible way... His death was great loss to us, but thank God he blessed us with all his recordings, his films and humanitarian efforts he gave so much of himself... I love even his humor and his laugh... With that Gorgeous face and smile and amazing voice... God truly blessed with all the joy and love he brought us... To this day I listen to his music as often as possible... It helps me in times of my own grief and losses...

Elvis was not only an (amazing) singer, he was a great showman who added such charisma, presence and depth in his presentation. That moment when he turns his head and ramps up the song near the end has always been a moment in time for me, that was timed with the camera by Elvis himself for effect as he was also a great showman and knew how to get maximum effect in moments like that. This was the very first time any concert was transmitted world wide via satellite so it was a big deal to get it right. they even did a second backup concert in case something happened to the satellite feed at the last minute.

I was in eighth grade and I watched this concert live. When Elvis walked on the stage I thought… Damn that’s the coolest dude I’ve ever seen in my life! Then he opened his mouth and started singing. This song you just reacted to is probably the best from the show. When Luciano Pavarotti says that if Elvis Presley ever learned operatic technique he would’ve been the greatest tenor of all time i’ll take him at his word. That said Elvis was the greatest entertainer of all time. By the way… Elvis Presley is alive today. You’ll find out.

You are so right - "the greatest singer of all time." If only people had said that more back when he was still alive, instead of the horrible criticism and ridicule he faced when he was starting out. Along with his gigantic achievement as a performer, his continuing on, being himself, sharing the music and passion he felt inside, in spite of the attacks, is another awesome achievement imho.

I keep watching your reactions over and over. He is the greatest singer ever. I heard him when I was 5 years old and that was it, I was hooked. I’m still listening 60 years later. There never will be another. I was fortunate to see him 4 times in concert. Nothing short of amazing!

Elvis, The KING! He absolutely has the best vocals in the world! Freddie Mercury was great! George Michael was great! But ELVIS, oh that voice! There will never be another! I am leaving in a couple weeks to go to Graceland (summer 2024). Third visit, first time with no kids! It's taken me a while to get back there as I am 60 now but it has been a bucket list item for a long time. Head down to Beale St. one night! And of course,a gospel church service! Nobody has ever sung gospel music like Elvis!!! Elvis is the reason I love gospel music! Long Live The KING!

I love that song.this is why he is the King. Elvis sat down and played the piano and sang Unchained Melody originally by the Richeous Bros. This performance was just months before Elvis passed. You could see how ill he was. However, his performance was fantastic. Take a look at it. You'll be blown away.
Been a fan since I was at least 8 yrs. old. As far back as I can remember trying to dance like him to music. Any music. Almost 53 now and this and many other performances still move me as much as they did 20, 30, or 40 yrs ago. He was and is still TRULY amazing. The BEST ever in my opinion.
